Mimi Rogers, MD, is a skilled and practiced doctor of medicine at Austin Area Obstetrics Gynecology and Fertility in Austin, Texas.

 

Dr. Rogers is originally from San Antonio, Texas. She moved to Austin to pursue her education and received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin (Utexas).

 

She then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio - UT Health San Antonio (Uthscsa) for medical school. She remained in San Antonio to complete her residency training.

 

While in residency, Dr. Rogers was acknowledged for her excellence in teaching by receiving the Resident Teaching Award. She also received awards for her surgical skills, the Outstanding Resident in Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) Award and the AAGL Award for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology.

 

Dr. Rogers is thrilled to be back in Austin and to be joining Austin Area Obstetrics Gynecology and Fertility. She is passionate about women’s health care and providing compassionate care to the women of this community. 

 

When she isn’t serving patients, Dr. Rogers enjoys traveling, working out, hiking, and the outdoors in her free time.

    I've been coming here since I was 16; I'm 31. Jaki Lockwood and Dr. Seeker are great. My annuals are always good - I feel heard and understood and feel like I get ample time with my provider. But their booking and replies to any issues in between your actual appointments leave a lot to be desired. The staff/nurses who respond to their messaging portal literally have me thinking about changing practices, which is too bad after so long.

    In the U.S., it can sometimes feel like you're just a number with medical staff, but Dr. Fiona Esfandiari provided a personal touch that truly made a difference. She took the time to explain how we could address my situation and genuinely listened to my concerns. She answered all my questions thoroughly. I feel fortunate to have received her service and highly recommend her. Additionally, I recommend her attentive staff, who were helpful and considerate throughout the entire process.

    I have been going to AAOBGYN for over 20 years. I no longer work in Austin, so it's a bit of a drive for me to come in each year. However, I love the relationship I have with Kelly (one of Dr. Seeker's NP's). Parking isn't always fun, but they do have free valet, which is wonderful! I plan to keep going until Kelly retires or one of us moves away from the area!

    As a new patient, this clinic absolutely did not impress me. Patiently waited for my appointment to have them cancel 24 hours before. Understand that it happens but then they couldn't see me for another 2 weeks. As a healthcare professional myself, please do better to be more accommodating especially when cancelations are on your end. Also not to mention, I'm getting texts about having a $2,242 bill on my account before ever being seen. 0/5 stars.

    I have had a great experience with Dr. Esfandiari's team. PA Nina, NP Rebecca and all the nurses are always so quick to respond and my visits are thorough and efficient. 10/10 would recommend.

    I just moved to Austin a month ago and found that my insurance will cover my visits here. After looking at their reviews I had no doubt I wanted to come here. I get seen by Dr. Cowan and let me tell you he’s an amazing doctor! He listens, he cares, and this nurses are the best…so caring and loving!! I’ve had a procedure done a week ago without any issues and my post-op appointment went great also!! 100% recommend this office!!

    This is the best practice in town. The providers are top notch, knowledgeable, and friendly. I always feel heard & appreciated. The process is also awesome. Nice to have all the services in one place too. Lab, ultrasound, mammograms.
