HART Fertility Clinic - Kingwood, ABD

I will not be returning to this clinic. We did IUI with them twice and wanted to explore IVF the second time, but somehow the doctor did not listen to us and put me on medication for another IUI cycle. The instructions for taking the medication the second time were also poorly communicated, which made things difficult because they prescribed everything at once. I researched the medications myself and called on my own initiative to make sure I was taking the right medication at the right time. I was not, because information is not communicated effectively or written down for you. They overwhelm you with jargon, and you leave every appointment feeling confused or in the dark. I saw Dr. Roach, not the other doctor there, so I cannot comment on his practice or techniques. I also felt that my questions were answered condescendingly. I asked whether my eggs looked okay, which I understand might sound like a silly question, and she laughed and said that eggs are microscopic. That was the end of the conversation. She did not bother to correct my terminology or give me any overall insight into my reproductive health. She showed me my fibroid but did not explain whether it was affecting anything; she only measured it. She then silently reviewed images, laboratory results, and other information. I feel that she could have explained things better and found a way to answer my questions about the condition of my reproductive organs. I understand that doctors cannot predict the future, but I believe they can provide a general estimate of the chances of success and explain whether IVF or IUI would be more beneficial for us. We are pursuing IVF this year and will use a different doctor. I strongly recommend trying the other doctor in this office or going elsewhere.

I highly recommend Dr. Roach. She is very sweet and compassionate. After 7 years of fertility problems, I am now 11 weeks pregnant with twins after just one treatment cycle. I know everyone is different, but Dr. Roach listened to us and made us feel so comfortable at every step. Every staff member I spoke with was very kind and always available to answer questions. We will always be grateful to Dr. Roach and her team!

Great clinic! I absolutely loved Dr. Kovanci, Janna, and Ashley. I felt very well cared for, and although I had many questions, they always answered promptly and with understanding.

I have nothing but great things to say about HART Fertility! From my first appointment, just days after calling to schedule, to my last, Dr. Kovanci and his staff were wonderful—kind, caring, informative, and simply good people. They made my fertility journey so easy. After I felt discouraged because my insurance did not cover any fertility care, Ashley went above and beyond and discovered that my husband's employer actually had a separate fertility assistance plan. I cannot thank her enough. His nurse Janna is also one of the sweetest women I have ever met in healthcare. Every interaction with her, from prayers to blessings, made me feel so loved. I thank Dr. Kovanci and his amazing staff for everything they did to help me finally have my baby boy! “Graduating” was bittersweet because I would no longer see them every week, but I am so happy now. Highly recommended, and I will recommend them to anyone who needs fertility help.
