I've been coming here since I was 16; I'm now 31. Jaki Lockwood and Dr. Seeker are great. My annual visits are always good—I feel heard and understood and feel that I get ample time with my provider. However, their scheduling and responses to issues between appointments leave a lot to be desired. The staff/nurses who respond through the messaging portal have me seriously considering changing practices, which is unfortunate after so long.

In the U.S., medical care can sometimes make you feel like just a number, but Dr. Fiona Esfandiari provided a personal touch that truly made a difference. She took the time to explain how we could address my situation and genuinely listened to my concerns. She answered all my questions thoroughly. I feel fortunate to have received her care and highly recommend her. I also recommend her attentive staff, who were helpful and considerate throughout the process.

Dr. Uribe changed my life. I am 29 and had pelvic floor prolapse for 4.5 years. He was the seventh doctor I saw and the only one who truly gave me hope and a real plan to solve the problem. I had surgery last month, and he was excellent throughout the process.

I have come here for annual gynecology appointments since 2021 and will remain a patient as long as possible. The office is always very clean and well maintained, and the Keurig machine is a nice touch.
Although the gynecologist I saw for my first three years is no longer at the practice, I recently met Jaki Lockwood, who immediately made me comfortable. I am transgender, so finding medical care that feels safe can be difficult. AAOBGYN has consistently made me feel safe over the years. I recommend them to anyone looking for a new gynecologist.

I have been going to Austin Area Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Fertility for nearly 20 years. They delivered all my children, and I love everyone there. Every nurse and provider is knowledgeable, takes time with you, and helps resolve concerns. They are very kind and helpful. I cannot praise them highly enough!

I have been going to AAOBGYN for over 20 years. I no longer work in Austin, so it is a bit of a drive for me to come in each year. However, I love the relationship I have with Kelly, one of Dr. Seeker's NPs. Parking is not always easy, but they do offer free valet service, which is wonderful! I plan to keep going until Kelly retires or one of us moves away from the area!

My husband and I were amazed by the care provided by Dr. Seeker and his staff. We lost our first son in infancy and, after receiving many positive recommendations, decided to transfer to Dr. Seeker. Their genuine care and sensitivity to our situation led them to enroll us in a program that supports families who have experienced something similar as we approached our second child's due date. Highly recommended!

As a new patient, this clinic absolutely did not impress me. Patiently waited for my appointment to have them cancel 24 hours before. Understand that it happens but then they couldn't see me for another 2 weeks. As a healthcare professional myself, please do better to be more accommodating especially when cancelations are on your end. Also not to mention, I'm getting texts about having a $2,242 bill on my account before ever being seen. 0/5 stars.

I just moved to Austin a month ago and found that my insurance will cover my visits here. After looking at their reviews I had no doubt I wanted to come here. I get seen by Dr. Cowan and let me tell you he’s an amazing doctor! He listens, he cares, and this nurses are the best…so caring and loving!! I’ve had a procedure done a week ago without any issues and my post-op appointment went great also!! 100% recommend this office!!

I love this clinic and have been a patient here for 25 years. From Dr. Uribe to his physician assistants and nurse practitioners, I have always been treated with respect and care. I was glad to discuss my laboratory results with Natalie through telehealth rather than having to visit the clinic in person. She was very thorough and highly knowledgeable about medication interactions. I will always recommend Dr. Uribe and his team!

The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions. At every prenatal visit, I could see the baby or hear the heartbeat, which was both reassuring and exciting as a first-time mother. I brought my mother and mother-in-law to an appointment, and the nurses were very kind to all of us. They took extra time to show the excited grandmothers the baby and explain what we were seeing. They left thrilled and also loved meeting Dr. Seeker!

Dr. Asher-Walsh and her team are wonderful! I came here for my second pregnancy, and the experience was far better than my first at another hospital. They cared for and supported me throughout and patiently answered my questions at every step. At each appointment, I felt heard and never rushed. The entire team made me feel comfortable and reassured throughout pregnancy and delivery. I am so glad I found them!

I have taken time off work twice to see Dr. E. Both times, I waited in the waiting room for more than an hour without ever seeing the doctor, only to be told I would have to wait at least another 40 minutes. Why schedule an appointment in the first place? I waited several months to see her, time I could have used to find a doctor who would actually see me. I would not recommend this clinic. I understand that emergencies happen, so even after waiting nearly two hours, I readily agreed to reschedule. When I arrived today, the nurse told me the situation and my experience would be different. It was not.

Although there was a minor issue with the check-in QR code, she still gave me ample time to feel fully evaluated, heard, and understood. They are amazing! The doctor is amazing! Dr. Rogers was excellent during my appointment. She explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and gave me the help I truly needed. I recently experienced an ectopic pregnancy and had to have surgery, which was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. During this time, Dr. Landherr and the team at AAOBGYN were there for me in a way I truly appreciate.
Dr. Landherr was knowledgeable and took care of my medical needs during an incredibly overwhelming situation. The staff was kind and supportive, and I felt like I was in good hands throughout everything.
I’m very thankful for the care I received during such a scary and emotional experience.

I had an incredibly positive experience throughout my entire pregnancy journey, and I’m truly grateful for the exceptional care I received. Every appointment was handled with patience, and all my concerns—big or small—were addressed with clarity and reassurance. Looking back on my fourth pregnancy and second cesarean delivery under Dr. Seeker's attentive care, I am once again reminded that he is one of the most exceptional physicians I have had the privilege of knowing.
Dr. Seeker consistently provides care that extends far beyond medical expertise. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine concern for his patients create an atmosphere of trust and reassurance. He is truly the best doctor we have ever met, and we have seen many. I only wish he could deliver my baby! Recurrent miscarriages made me extremely anxious during pregnancy, but he always reassured me and helped build my confidence. I really like Dr. Seeker and his nurses. This rating is not about their work or care, but about billing. The billing department is not patient-friendly and seems to know nothing about refunds. I was brushed off three times without any clarity about what should be refunded. This is the problem with obstetric deposits: the practice rarely submits claims before the hospital, so patients end up paying twice and struggling to obtain a refund.

Switched doctors due to lack of personalized care, poor organization, inadequate communication, and minimal proactiveness.
-Providers often did not review prior visit notes or medical history, requiring us to repeatedly restate information.
-After the initial medical issue, we were told no further action was needed; when issue recurred, additional basic labs were suggested. Basic labs could have easily been recommended much earlier, and recurrence of the situation could have been avodied. The issue coming back led to a lot of avoidable emotional and physical stress for us.
-Staff responding to calls or texts were unfamiliar with our history and would recommend scheduling or next steps without proper context, with little follow-up unless we asked specific questions.
-CPL lab staff at this location were unprofessional and dismissive when asked about lab timelines. Other CPL locations, we had great experience, so maybe this location might just be an exception.
-Appointments were consistently late, often requiring two hours for a brief scheduled visit.
Despite many positive reviews and Dr. Seeker’s good bedside manner, the overall experience caused significant emotional and physical stress and was among the worst we have had with a medical provider.

Instead of letting me push, he pressed his arm on my abdomen and pulled my baby out, causing a third-degree anal tear. I was progressing normally and could have delivered without this. He falsely said it was only first degree, so I did not understand my severe pain until I went to the emergency department. The experience traumatized me. He appeared to rush the delivery to see other patients. My doula saw him deliver two other babies the same way and now warns clients when he is their physician. With another physician, I believe I might have had only a minor tear.

I have a rare uterine abnormality, and many physicians made me anxious about pregnancy; some refused care or discussed my condition with others in front of me. Dr. Seeker is the best—experienced, calm, confident, and kind. He transformed my pregnancy experience and made me feel safe throughout. I am deeply grateful to him and his nurses. Waits can be long, but he is absolutely worth it.

Dr. Seeker and his entire staff are the best. I experienced some pregnancy-related problems earlier, and he made sure I had full support from him and his team before planning a pregnancy. He recently delivered my baby boy, and I am extremely grateful to him and his entire staff. His presence and positivity made all the difference. No words or thanks are enough for his dedication and work.

I have seen many OB-GYNs, and honestly, I never thought I would feel comfortable with a male doctor, but Dr. Seeker truly is the best. I am so glad I switched to him!

It took me five months to write this review, but I finally feel ready to share my experience with Dr. Seeker. I had many hopes for my first delivery, but what happened at this hospital was far from what I imagined.
From the beginning, the environment felt overwhelming. The hospital seemed severely understaffed, and the nurses were clearly overworked. Medications such as Pitocin were pushed aggressively with little discussion or explanation.
As I was about to deliver my baby girl, Dr. Seeker's behavior was deeply troubling. Without warning or consent, he performed the Ritgen maneuver, a highly invasive technique involving rectal pressure to assist delivery. This was completely unnecessary because I was progressing well on my own.
Worse, part of my placenta later became retained. I held my newborn and screamed in pain while Dr. Seeker tried to remove it manually. My epidural had failed, so I felt everything. He did not stop to explain what was happening; my husband had to intervene and demand that he stop and communicate with us.
The experience left me deeply traumatized. We did not even take a photo with our first daughter because I felt so physically and emotionally devastated. Breastfeeding became extremely difficult because I associated any discomfort with the severe pain I endured during delivery. After the procedure performed without consent, I also developed severe hemorrhoid problems. Although I was told I had a second-degree tear, I could feel stitches extending to my rectum.
I understand that urgent action is sometimes needed during childbirth, but basic communication and respect for the patient are never optional.
If you are considering delivering at this hospital, I urge you to think twice. They handle too many births with too little support. I am writing this in the hope that no one else has to experience what I did.

My experience with Dr. Seeker was excellent. He was kind and explained everything well. It is clear that he cares about his patients. However, billing and scheduling have been a nightmare. It is difficult to schedule an appointment or reach anyone by phone. Billing is even worse. Claims for my procedures were not submitted under the same code, and I asked why. After waiting a week for an explanation, I sent a follow-up. I truly do not want to be negative; I simply want to understand. They also incorrectly charged me for another appointment that was covered 100%. Needless to say, I have little confidence in billing. At present, the doctor and clinical staff are excellent, but the administrative staff are disappointing.
