I want to share my experience so that other women, and hopefully Geisinger Medical Center, understand what happened to me. I officially began treatment at Geisinger in 2025 11. We completed extensive testing before I began medication. In the final week of 12, I finally started taking letrozole and received a trigger shot. Unfortunately, that cycle was unsuccessful despite a good follicular response. The next month, I took a higher dose of letrozole along with another trigger shot. Unfortunately, that cycle also failed. For my third cycle, I ultimately tried intrauterine insemination (IUI). My follicular response was not ideal, but 3 follicles eventually matured. That cycle was successful, and I am now 15 and a half weeks pregnant. During my time at Geisinger Medical Center, Dr. Gale, Dr. Cooper, and the ultrasound technologists were wonderful and a pleasure to work with! I especially liked Dr. Cooper. She patiently answered every question and made me feel valued. Now for the negative part, which is why I cannot simply give this clinic a score of 3/5. Nurse Deb is the worst nurse I have ever encountered. If you call the clinic and speak with her, she acts impatient, yells at you, and makes you feel stupid. I have told the doctors twice that I no longer want any contact with Nurse Deb, yet somehow she is always the one who calls or messages me. I would love to give this clinic a five-star review, but Nurse Deb made me want to quit immediately. I even considered giving up on becoming pregnant just so I would not have to deal with her again. I have seen other reviews describing similar experiences. Although those women did not name her, their feelings were exactly the same as mine. I have also spoken in person with several women who felt the same way.
I hope the clinic soon realizes that Nurse Deb is making life a nightmare for patients who need to contact the clinic.

Dr. Gale performed my laparoscopy and endometriosis excision. She explained everything thoroughly, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood and agreed with everything. The surgery was successful, and after years of chronic pain, I am finally pain-free.

After more than six years of ‘unexplained infertility,’ I am able to hold my four-month-old baby because of Dr. Gehl. I spent two years at a very well-known fertility clinic in New Jersey, underwent every kind of test and routine monitoring every two weeks, and still received no answer beyond being classified as a case of unexplained infertility. The doctor told me IVF was my only hope.
Then I found Dr. Gehl. After just one visit, she suspected the true cause of my infertility and arranged a minor procedure to confirm it. I conceived naturally during my next menstrual cycle.
Without Dr. Gehl, I would not have this greatest gift. I will always be grateful to her.

This was a wonderful visit with excellent staff. Arianna Cooper patiently answered all my questions. She never rushed me and took time to explain everything very clearly!

I came here full of hope because I have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and had been unable to conceive for years, which Dr. Gail knew. I began with Clomid for two or three cycles, even though it is not ideal for patients with PCOS, but it did not work. We then tried letrozole, which is reportedly more effective for PCOS. I became pregnant after one cycle, but my HCG level was low. At the second blood test, my HCG had not risen, and I was devastated. When the nurse called, I asked whether I should be concerned that my HCG had risen by only 30 points. She sounded impatient and asked why I would be worried. I explained, but she laughed it off.
At the third blood test, my HCG had risen by only 20 points. I knew I was going to miscarry. Dr. Gail was unavailable, so I had to wait for Erin to call and confirm it. When she did, I asked what would happen next. We were heartbroken. I felt so anxious that day I wanted to vomit and called several times. I called both Danville and Wilkes-Barre. When I called Danville near closing time, the woman who answered said, "You already called Wilkes-Barre. Why are you calling here?" I replied, "Because I called at 9 a.m., you close in 20 minutes, it is Friday, and I am miscarrying." Her attitude was terrible. I had to insist on speaking with Erin. I did not care that it was almost closing time; I needed to know what was happening to my body and my baby. Erin eventually returned my call.
Later, because Dr. Gail was still out of the office, I had another question for Erin. I mentioned what the nurse had said and how she made me feel foolish and dismissed. Erin said, "We cannot simply tell a patient she is miscarrying." But I had asked. Do not lie to patients. I knew something was wrong.
Over time, my HCG did not decline but continued to rise slowly. I asked whether I could have a dilation and curettage, but they refused. A week later, I finally miscarried naturally. It was excruciating and frightening. I called the clinic to inform them, and they simply said I needed another blood test. My HCG still did not decline, I was bleeding heavily, and Dr. Gail remained unavailable because she was still on vacation.
When Dr. Gail finally returned, my HCG was still not decreasing, and we scheduled an appointment. She was 40 minutes late. She then sent me to the emergency room for an injection to end the pregnancy and lower my HCG. It was painful and terrifying. During those 2–4 weeks, the clinic never once called to check on me, ask whether I was all right, or see whether I needed help. This was the most painful experience of my life, yet the clinic provided no support, and the nurses and doctor showed no compassion. By the time I could try to conceive again, it was December 2024, although this began in late July 2024. It took a full six months from the miscarriage until I could try again, and I did not return to this clinic.
In January 2025, I went to Bethlehem and met Dr. Budinetz. I explained what had happened. She was very thoughtful and understanding and promised to help us conceive. She prescribed numerous supplements and medication to help manage my PCOS. Dr. Gail had never recommended supplements during my treatment unless I asked, and by then treatment had been underway for a long time. I had assumed she would tell me if anything needed to be adjusted. We conceived our rainbow baby after the first cycle, and he was born on November 11. I deliberately waited before writing this review to see how things would go after changing clinics, and the difference was remarkable. Needless to say, avoid this clinic if you can. The energy you invest is not worth it, and they will not give you comparable care in return.

Now that I have been through everything, they are not the best at all and do not care... After two failed attempts and with a third approaching, you would think they would try a different approach or discuss other options, but no... They just keep charging high fees without addressing the problem or considering what we could try differently. Then they decided to stop billing my insurance and make me pay 100% out of pocket! I suggest going elsewhere.

You are the best fertility specialist in Pennsylvania! From day one, we felt very well cared for. She and Grace are both top-notch! I thank God first, and then Dr. Gayle!!!!

If you are serious about fertility treatment, drive to Allentown. Do not waste your time here. Ask your OB to look up the success rates of different doctors. We wasted 2 years here and 1 cycle at another place we had considered.
