Do not go to this clinic! It is by far the worst clinic I have ever visited! Absolutely the worst! I would really like to know how they conduct background checks and hire administrative staff—their service has caused me endless distress. My insurance is through Maven. The clinic initially said they would follow the proper process, but then billed everything to me. My insurance company received nothing. My husband simply asked the front desk staff member to send him PDF files of the medical summary and prescriptions. In an extremely rude and disrespectful tone, she replied, ‘I don't know how to convert the files to PDF—is that what you're asking? You can only download them from the app.’ I could not believe my ears. I understand that the clinic needs to hire retirees because they may accept lower wages, but please hire competent people, ASPIRE! This is absurd! Now I have to deal with hundreds of dollars in insurance claims and billing problems because your administrative staff never sent the bills in the first place! This was my first visit to a fertility clinic; my husband and I only wanted an evaluation. Without question, Dr. Abel is wonderful, experienced, and qualified. But everyone—not only the doctors—seems intent on extracting as much money as possible from people who are desperate and willing to pay any price to have a child. It is criminal! I had to undergo all kinds of blood tests, scans, genetic testing, and more, only to be denied IVF because ‘the doctor wants to try other treatments first and IVF last.’ I may not be a medical professional, but I have the right to ask for what I want! We wasted months on these unnecessary tests, scans, and other procedures. I could perhaps accept that, but the following are completely unacceptable: 1) Front desk staff are hostile and rude to you and your husband because they are incompetent at their jobs and waste other people's time; 2) lab assistants are always watching television or using their phones while drawing blood and are not paying attention; 3) there is no functional app or communication channel for contacting staff or doctors—the Prelude app is terrible! Again, this clinic is a trap. Be very careful!

I put off writing this review for quite a while. I have now undergone fertility treatment for three years at two different clinics. The first clinic was Texas Fertility Center (TFC), which was excellent, but my insurance did not cover treatment there, so I had to go elsewhere for IVF. Coincidentally, I moved to North Austin and found this clinic because it was the closest to my home and accepted my insurance. Aspire Fertility Domain (AF-D) feels like a satellite of the main Austin clinic, with a more remote location and relatively limited communication and support resources. I have had to advocate for myself throughout this journey. I had to proactively ask about medications, insurance, scheduling, and other matters, while my care team would suddenly send confusing information without an explanation, an apology, or any consideration for the challenges I was already facing, such as balancing a full-time job, medical visits, and purchasing medications that always seemed urgently needed. The Prelude App is very convenient, but there were billing errors, and its messaging feature is awkward, unpredictable, and disjointed. However, the billing errors I pointed out were corrected quickly. Do not pay unless you know exactly what is on the bill. The app does not actually provide any billing details. On the other hand, having all laboratory results, messages, and medication plans in one place is certainly very convenient... The Domain office building is somewhat run-down, and maintenance and repairs take months, so cardboard coverings or painter's tape are often left on the floors or walls. I am sure Aspire Fertility Domain has no control over building maintenance, but when you are ovulating and have to drag your exhausted body there every other day for various tests, it can feel mentally draining. The Aspire Fertility office itself, however, is bright, clean, warm, and welcoming. The waiting room helps you relax, and the patient rooms are comfortable. Dr. Ikhena-Abel is truly a blessing. She is highly skilled, kind, and compassionate. The clinic staff are also excellent: warm, friendly, helpful, and efficient. However, they are healthcare professionals, so your distressing laboratory results are routine to them. As a result, their interactions can sometimes feel less than genuine, and they may not fully empathize with your individual circumstances. After all, they care for many patients like you. Overall, this clinic is merely an office location. Your fertility journey is what truly shapes your experience with the clinic. I wish that were not the case, but ladies, be fully prepared and take an active role in your fertility care. Ask plenty of questions, take notes, review your bills carefully, and contact every relevant healthcare provider. Treat this clinic as a means of reaching your goal. The people here are kind, but make sure you protect your physical and mental well-being. You will get through this, and it is indeed a decent clinic. Remember that you are also a patient of their main Austin clinic, and you can contact that location at any time if you want to switch. Fortunately, both clinics use the same system, so you can visit the other one for an occasional test and a change of scenery. For me, AF-D is close to home, and the waiting room is rarely crowded. I am giving three stars because I still cannot decide whether this clinic is good or bad, haha. I think the answer lies somewhere in between.

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Coordination was chaotic, and the medical management was a mess. They failed to send my medication three times, forcing me to wait until my next menstrual cycle and delaying treatment by an entire month. Time is critical in infertility treatment, yet they acted as though it did not matter. They strongly recommend using the Prelude app for communication, but even the most basic questions take 10 days to receive a response. Ten days, while I was taking medications with strict timing requirements. Their attitude was entirely, 'Not my problem.' There was no accountability, urgency, or ownership. This level of disorganization is completely unacceptable for something so important and emotionally significant. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I am very pleased with my IVF experience here. Every doctor and nurse I met was warm and thoughtful. Even the anesthesiologist and IVF laboratory staff I encountered on egg-retrieval day seemed to truly love their work. I am a happy patient—thank you!

The worst service I have ever encountered. I strongly advise against using them unless you want incompetent staff handling your concerns.

I had a very good experience at this clinic. The team was kind and thoughtful. Trying to conceive is always stressful, but my concerns were never dismissed and they always listened carefully. I am surprised by the negative reviews because my experience was excellent!

My OB-GYN and a friend, both IVF patients, recommended this clinic. It has the worst communication and billing of any medical practice I have used. 1. Initial visit 45 minutes late: longer visits happen, but 45 minutes is unacceptable. Patients pay late or cancellation fees, so why not charge late doctors? Better scheduling was needed; my husband and I were late for work. 2. Unclear billing: my employer covers some fertility costs, so I need itemized invoices. The portal shows only balances, without charges or details. Requested invoices still did not meet employer requirements. 3. Severe communication delays: aside from front-desk scheduling, most contact uses messaging. At 35, time matters, yet replies take a long time and phone contact is impossible. They work on their schedule, not yours. Initial testing was useful, but the overall experience was poor, and I found another clinic. Other Aspire locations may be better, but I do not recommend this one.

Do not go here! Their billing is incorrect, and they charge astronomical amounts after processing insurance and telling you that you are covered. The physicians are young and lack knowledge, especially regarding specialized issues such as autoimmune disorders and PCOS. Go elsewhere!

Sadly, this clinic is definitely in it for the money. I understand this is a fertility clinic, but all the OBGYN offices I've been to in the past were pretty good at responding to messages in regards to lab results. Here at Aspire, they require you to have a visit (in person or virtual) to discuss results - despite it just being 1 marker that is not within normal boundaries. As a worker in the health field myself, I asked if this would be part of the initial consultation of hundreds of dollars. They stated it will not incur costs. Well, Dr. Deborah Ikhena-Abel and I had a virtual meeting for 5 minutes max and I got billed for that visit. Also, when I went to the OBGYN 2 weeks after my visit at Aspire, the OBGYN was suprised that the fertility clinic ran a whole "OB panel" without being pregnant.

Wow. Today was my first meeting with Dr. Deborah Ikhena-Abel. I am moved and grateful that I found her and Aspire. Everyone my husband and I met was lovely, from the front-desk staff and nurses to everyone in between. Before the appointment, I had questions and contacted the patient portal. Every response was prompt, kind, and helpful. Dr. Ikhena-Abel took time to understand our goals for today’s appointment. I felt cared for and understood and never felt rushed. I did not expect any answers today, but she diagnosed a longstanding problem that other physicians had overlooked or misdiagnosed. I was so relieved I could have cried. We have an excellent plan that we can confidently follow, and I am pleased to have Aspire Fertility and Dr. Ikhena-Abel managing my care. She is a gem. I cannot recommend her and this office highly enough.

I honestly do not know where to begin because words can never fully express my gratitude to Dr. Debo Ikhena-Abel at Aspire Fertility. I am currently pregnant with baby number two, and I truly believe none of this would have been possible without her. From our first appointment, I knew I was receiving the best care. Dr. Debo combines extraordinary expertise, calm reassurance, and genuine compassion, making you feel like family rather than simply another patient. As someone with PCOS, I always knew pregnancy might be challenging, but Dr. Debo never let me feel discouraged. She approached my journey with such personalized care and confidence that she put my mind and heart at ease. She explained everything clearly, patiently answered every question, and helped me feel empowered throughout. The treatment, timing, and decisions were all thoughtfully planned and executed. I still cannot believe how smoothly everything went. It felt like magic, but I know it was truly the result of Dr. Debo’s skill and dedication. She knew exactly what she was doing at every step, and I felt I was exactly where I needed to be. I must also praise the Aspire Fertility team. From the front desk and laboratory to the nurses, everyone was kind, welcoming, and very supportive. Jasmine on the nursing staff especially stood out; she is a gem. Dr. Debo is simply the best fertility physician! I sincerely believe she was meant for this work. She brings so many miracles into the world, and I feel very fortunate to be one of the lucky people under her care. If you are considering fertility treatment, especially if you have challenges or concerns, please see her. She truly is the best. Thank you, Dr. Debo, for changing our lives.

From the moment I walked into Aspire Fertility – Domain, I felt supported and cared for. Every staff member was wonderful—kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my treatment. What could have been an overwhelming and frightening experience became much easier because of this excellent team. My physician was compassionate and knowledgeable and took time to explain everything in detail, making me feel confident and reassured. They even took exceptional care of my husband during a blood draw. When he began to feel faint, the staff immediately brought apple juice, crackers, and snacks to help him recover. It was very reassuring to see them treat him with the same kindness they showed me. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and support throughout. We truly felt at ease.

Dr. Deborah Ikhena-Abel made us feel safe and welcome during our initial visit. She took the time to ask questions and listen thoroughly as we expressed our wishes and concerns. Together, we developed the first steps of our fertility plan and left feeling grounded and confident. We are doing everything we can to conceive our first child. The nurses were very friendly and welcoming, both when we arrived and during other interactions in the laboratory. We are excited to continue working with this team and would definitely recommend them to other women and couples trying to conceive.
