My experience with Dr. Mor was marked by indifference, arrogance, and a one-size-fits-all treatment plan, despite multiple failed treatments and a miscarriage. When I tried to ask questions or advocate for adjustments to my protocol—for example, whether stronger progesterone support or other treatment options should be considered in light of my previous failures—he told me that if I wanted to “manage myself,” then he was “not the right doctor for me.” In another conversation, he said that “this has nothing to do with him” and mentioned that he had three children, which made me feel that he was dismissing my situation. He also made discouraging comments suggesting that my ovarian function had declined after a treatment protocol that ultimately proved unnecessary and caused temporary menopause. Although my menstrual cycle did not return as expected after stopping the medication, my ovarian function eventually recovered on its own over time. Additionally, when I requested exploratory laparoscopy, he said, “We do not put patients under the knife.” In my observation, this doctor uses a highly standardized approach rather than individualized care, which may not be suitable for complex infertility cases that require personalized evaluation. Most concerning, despite performing a hysteroscopy and multiple saline sonograms, Dr. Mor missed my uterine septum. It was only discovered by another doctor after I transferred care, finally explaining my previous miscarriage and implantation failures. After transferring to another clinic for a more comprehensive evaluation and treatment, I am now pregnant with my miracle baby. If you need personalized, collaborative care, I do not recommend this clinic or this doctor. For me, it was a complete waste of time, money, and hard-earned embryos.

Other doctors advised me to consider adoption or donor eggs because my chances of having my own child were extremely low. Dr. Mor promised to help us build a family, and last year we welcomed a healthy baby boy. I would not trust anyone else, and I am so glad we chose Dr. Mor and CCRH.

Although our fertility journey was long and difficult, with Dr. K's help we finally became pregnant—we are now nine weeks—and can graduate from her care. After nearly two years of trying to conceive, my OB-GYN referred me to Dr. Moore. From the first consultation, he put me at ease during what felt like an overwhelming IVF process. He carefully reviewed my fertility history and created a treatment plan based on his recommendations, clearly explaining what was and was not necessary. I had consulted other doctors whose IVF protocols were one-size-fits-all, but Dr. Moore's plan seemed better suited to my situation. He was also candid that a second transfer generally had a higher chance of success, which was important to keep in mind. I began IVF in late October and had my first frozen embryo transfer at the end of November, which resulted in pregnancy! Even with the best possible outcome, I still could not believe the first transfer worked. I am now 15 weeks pregnant and in my second trimester. Building our family would not have been possible without Dr. Moore and his excellent team, especially nurse Becky, who always reassured me. Communication through their portal was consistently smooth, and everyone was kind throughout. IVF is not an easy journey, but I feel incredibly fortunate for the help and support Dr. Moore and his team gave me. Update #2: Dr. Moore and his team worked another miracle! Nearly two years later, they gave us another opportunity to grow our family. I am delighted to share that I officially "graduated" from the clinic today! This time, before the frozen embryo transfer, Dr. Moore carefully prepared my body and ensured I was in the best possible condition. He first performed a hysteroscopy and removed uterine polyps so they would not interfere with implantation. We would not have the family we have today without Dr. Moore and his team, and I will always be grateful to them.

This is my second IVF treatment at CCRH in Encino, and both experiences have been wonderful! I am furious and must warn other women! I learned about this clinic through a friend who succeeded here. I found the clinic's phone number on Google and wanted to schedule a consultation directly with a doctor, as my English is fine. The clinic said a Chinese-speaking colleague would contact me. Later, someone calling herself “Dr. Yang” contacted me and said she worked at the hospital and would arrange a video consultation with the attending doctor. I had a video consultation with Dr. Mor, who seemed professional and gave me a clear treatment recommendation, so I planned to choose this clinic. Later, I wanted to ask the friend who referred me about some details and thought of “Dr. Yang.” When I asked my friend about her, my friend said she had never seen a Chinese-speaking female doctor throughout her treatment. I became suspicious and called the clinic again, asking to be transferred to “Dr. Yang.” This time, the person who answered said the clinic had no Chinese-speaking female doctor named Yang, only the male doctor I had consulted and another English-speaking female doctor. Concerned that there was a mistake, I explained that I had previously contacted her on WeChat and that she had arranged my video appointment. The person then said she knew who it was: the so-called Dr. Yang was an “agent” for the clinic, not a clinic employee and certainly not a doctor. My goodness—I then realized I had apparently been deceived by an unauthorized intermediary posing as a doctor. I had seen similar reports on Xiaohongshu but never expected it to happen to me, especially because the clinic itself told me to contact her. Everyone, please be vigilant! If this is a legitimate agency, why not state that openly? This deception is disgusting. Even more disheartening is that the clinic appears to tolerate it. How can anyone feel confident choosing it?

Dr. Mor and his entire team are wonderful. A friend recommended Dr. Mor to me after being referred by another friend. I had already seen three doctors while searching for the right fit. After ten minutes of conversation, I knew he was the doctor I wanted because he was practical, direct, and friendly. Fertility treatment is difficult, and problems can seem to pile up from the moment you enter the clinic, but Dr. Mor offered solutions. I completed three IVF cycles at his clinic; he performed two, and another doctor performed one while he was on vacation. Unfortunately, I do not recommend her, but that was my decision. I should have waited for him. Dr. Mor gave me three embryos, and now I have a daughter. She is three months old and the love of my life! It was not easy, but we did it. Dr. Mor, my June, and I had a baby together. She is beautiful. If you want a capable, resourceful doctor with excellent infrastructure who will guide you through IVF honestly and directly, I absolutely recommend him. My husband and I (34F at the time of the first visit and birth) chose this clinic based on the proximity to our place and the great reviews and glad that we chose Dr. Mor’s team. I feel this review has been two and a half years in the making. I had tubal reversal surgery in December 2022. We started trying in January and became pregnant in April, but I ultimately miscarried. I became pregnant again in November 2023 but miscarried. I became pregnant again in February 2024, and that also ended in miscarriage. After all these early losses, Dr. Mor and his team asked me to undergo bloodwork to identify the underlying reason I could not maintain a pregnancy. Nothing was found except a possible clotting disorder, so I began taking low-dose aspirin. I eventually had a hysterosalpingogram (HSG), which showed that my right fallopian tube was blocked but my left tube was open. After more bloodwork and an AMH test, Dr. Mor and other fertility specialists told me our best option for pregnancy was in vitro fertilization (IVF). My husband and I could not afford IVF, so we had no choice but to continue trying naturally. I began taking CoQ10 in September to support egg health, and my husband and I started a ketogenic diet in January 2025. By February, I had conceived naturally. Dr. Mor and his staff arranged ultrasounds and bloodwork, and so far everything looks good, including seeing a heartbeat at 6 weeks. Because I live in another state, they coordinated all of this remotely over the past 2 years. I am now 21 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy! None of this would have been possible without the care of Dr. Mor and his staff. Thank you so much for performing my reversal surgery, supporting me throughout infertility, and helping me after I finally overcame the odds and became pregnant. I nearly lost my life from severe bleeding after an egg retrieval at this clinic. It was not the ovarian overstimulation-related bleeding they had warned me could occur in people who had many eggs retrieved; it was a surgical wound. More than six months later, now that I am more stable physically and emotionally, I want to calmly and objectively describe my frightening experience after egg retrieval under general anesthesia at this clinic as a warning to other women. I did no research before choosing this clinic. A colleague introduced me and directly recommended a sales representative from its U.S. office. The video consultation was scheduled quickly and lasted about ten minutes. They said I could book my trip directly and have my follicles checked after arrival. In the United States, Dr. Mor handled the examination and ovarian stimulation plan. At the last examination, however, the procedure was scheduled for a weekend when Dr. Mor was off and unavailable, so a female doctor I had never met was assigned to perform it. I asked whether it could be postponed until Monday, but he said no. Although I had concerns, I trusted the doctor's professional opinion. On the day of surgery, I joked, “Do not kill me.” They were shocked and said I was overthinking it because someone with fewer than 10 baseline follicles like me had a very low chance of complications. I never expected my life would actually be in danger. When I woke after surgery, I thought I had finally made it through. The vaginal opening felt pinched and painful, and I had mild lower abdominal pain. The clinic's sales representative said that if I had no bleeding or significant discomfort within 24 hours, I could fly home to China. I booked a flight for the following afternoon, 36 hours after surgery. After returning to China, I had a small amount of bleeding every day. One day, a soft, oval, membrane-covered object about half the length of an index finger came out. It did not look like a blood clot, and I later learned this was a serious sign. I asked the sales representative, who said it was normal. I had no other discomfort, so I did not pay attention to it. Seven days after returning home, while eating in the company cafeteria, I suddenly felt a warm flow from my lower body. When I stood up, I saw that the chair beneath me was covered in blood, even though I was wearing a sanitary pad. I had never experienced such heavy menstrual bleeding and became frightened. It was after 7 p.m. Beijing time. I called the sales representative, but there was no answer. In the restroom, large amounts of blood continued to pour out, some of it clotting rapidly. I reassured myself because I had read online that the first period after ovarian stimulation could be heavier. I asked a colleague to bring me a new sanitary pad and, supported by coworkers, struggled back to my desk. They advised me to drive home and rest. While I stood there, the blood was still flowing so quickly that it soaked through an overnight menstrual brief within minutes. I remembered a woman at our company who had died from massive bleeding caused by an ectopic pregnancy while being transported for emergency care. But I was single, so an ectopic pregnancy was impossible... Confused and afraid, I debated whether to drive home and rest or go to the hospital. A colleague said my lips had turned extremely pale, so another kind colleague immediately called 120 and accompanied me to the emergency department. Because the doctors in China did not know what had happened during my surgery under general anesthesia in the United States, I underwent multiple examinations. They used medication for postpartum hemorrhage to stop the bleeding, but it would start again in less than a day. I had lost half my blood volume, nearly went into shock, and required a blood transfusion. Senior doctors held an emergency consultation and advised another operation under general anesthesia to locate the wound, suture it completely, and stop the bleeding. After fasting for 10 hours, I entered the emergency operating room at 8 p.m. During rounds the next day, the doctor told me that surgery had revealed a 2 cm wound in the posterior vaginal fornix, which he had spent a long time repeatedly reinforcing with sutures. I was stunned that an egg retrieval could cause such a long wound. Even more puzzling was why there had been no massive bleeding immediately after the retrieval, only seven days later, since I have never had a clotting problem. I then told the doctor about the oval object that had previously come out of my vagina. He said it may have been hemostatic material placed over the bleeding site after the U.S. egg retrieval. When it fell out, the wound was too large and had not healed, causing the hemorrhage. CCRH later confirmed this when I retained an attorney: bleeding had indeed occurred during surgery, and Dr. Smith used something to stop it. They said the bleeding stopped at the time, so I was sent to recovery. Yet throughout the entire process, CCRH never told me which area had been injured and bled during surgery or that foreign material had been used to stop the bleeding. After I was hospitalized for massive bleeding, my sales representative informed Dr. Mor. He added me on WeChat but never apologized, only expressed regret. He also discussed with the sales staff the possibility that I had injured myself after returning to China. He repeatedly insisted on meeting with me, despite my telling him many times that I had just narrowly survived and was still too weak to have a discussion with them. After discharge, I shared my experience on my personal social media because, when I was helpless and overwhelmed during the hemorrhage, I could not find any accounts of bleeding like mine. Because there are no nerves inside the vagina, a person could bleed to death without pain or discomfort. I nearly delayed treatment because of a moment's hesitation, and fortunately I chose to go to the hospital and survived. I wanted other women who, like me, feel helpless and uninformed when traveling to the United States for egg retrieval to have a point of reference. Egg retrieval under general anesthesia is not the minor procedure they claim it is. Women need to understand the risks and not take them lightly. When something goes wrong, the clinic denies all responsibility; before surgery, they have us sign a very thick set of documents in English. There is also no insurance of this kind in the United States, so we must bear the consequences ourselves. While I was recovering, a friend in the United States who heard about my experience found news reports showing that CCRH had transferred the wrong patient's embryo several years earlier. This made me very anxious, so I decided to move the few embryos whose results had just become available out of the clinic. At that point, I only knew that after my body had been harmed, I could not allow my embryos to remain at risk there. At that time, Dr. Mor was in China promoting the clinic and recruiting clients. After hearing that I had published an article, he confronted me and said what I wrote was untrue and unfair to him. In fact, he had not even read what I wrote. I never disclosed the clinic's name; I only described my overall experience and feelings. He cared only about his business. As a result, the entire embryo transfer process became extremely difficult. I was willing to follow every procedure, including paying additional fees and obtaining notarization, but they said Dr. Mor had to speak with me by video before they would release my embryos. I said I did not want another conversation with the clinic that had caused me physical harm. Why could any necessary matters not be explained in writing? Eventually, I asked the Chinese sales representative at their office to relay this message: if they wanted to earn money from Chinese people, they had to respect Chinese people. If they continued abusing their power to withhold my embryos, they could not intimidate me; I would do everything in my power to fully expose their conduct. Only then did they agree to release my embryos. By that time, more than 3 months had passed since I first requested the transfer... This entire ordeal was physically and emotionally exhausting. Women who have no choice but to travel to the United States for IVF should choose their clinic carefully.

After repeated laboratory tests and ultrasounds indicated that I was in early menopause, we tried three rounds of mini-stimulation IVF without success. Following those failed cycles, Dr. Mohr told me in November 2023 to call him when I was ready for donor eggs. We were open to that route, but he did not even give me another chance to use my own eggs, even though all my hormone levels suddenly returned to normal. I ultimately paid for testing through Quest, which consistently showed normal hormone levels, and tried contacting CCRH through the portal. I never heard from them again. I eventually contacted another clinic, which performed an ultrasound in December 2023 and found that my egg count was normal for my age. Less than a month later, I became pregnant without any medical intervention and gave birth to a healthy girl three weeks ago. Although the laboratory work and ultrasounds at CCRH were not incorrect, I was dismissed and ignored when I said something did not add up. I am glad I trusted my body and did not listen to Dr. Mohr.

Serious concerns about CCRH: unprofessional care, hidden fees, and questionable practices. Our experience at the California Center for Reproductive Health (CCRH) was deeply distressing and raised serious concerns about the clinic's standard of care. During a recent embryo transfer, the procedure was performed with blatant disregard for basic medical protocols. The attending physician failed to maintain sterility and behaved unprofessionally throughout, causing unnecessary stress and discomfort during what should have been a hopeful, positive experience. Our doctor's parting words were, ‘Good luck; hopefully your children can fix this chaotic world!’ Even more frustrating, we had to pay an additional $2,500 to retrieve our remaining embryos from their laboratory. We now pray that the embryos were properly preserved and not damaged while in their care. CCRH offered to waive the fee only if we signed a lengthy indemnity form releasing the clinic, its affiliates, partners, and others from any claims. Given our experience, we could not in good conscience sign such a document. It is alarming to think other patients may receive similar treatment. We later learned that CCRH has been involved in serious legal issues concerning embryo mix-ups, further increasing our concerns about its practices. We strongly urge anyone considering CCRH to use caution and research all options thoroughly before deciding. Our experience left us questioning the clinic's integrity and safety.

Before considering this clinic, I strongly recommend thorough research. The following describes a recent strange, deeply disturbing, and unprofessional experience. Background: After years of trying to conceive naturally and through IUI, we decided to use a gestational carrier (GC). We chose CCRH and Dr. Tina Koopersmith as our embryo transfer physician. What happened: On transfer day, our GC was prepared while we waited for Dr. Koopersmith. About 20 minutes after the scheduled time, she arrived and immediately said she was late because she had been ‘journaling’ and had experienced some revelations. She then reviewed the documents and suddenly questioned why we had chosen a double embryo transfer (DET) rather than a single embryo transfer (SET), although DET had always been the plan. As Dr. Koopersmith prepared for the transfer, she appeared confused and asked the nurse where the instruments were, although the nurse had already prepared everything. Dr. Koopersmith then began preparing our GC's intimate area without gloves, putting them on only when ready to perform the procedure. During this time, she delivered a monologue about her morning journal, including these points: 1. Infertility is a blessing because the planet is deteriorating, and reducing the population may be a solution. 2. Light and darkness coexist, and every good human action is accompanied by an evil one. 3. Children are humanity's only hope of repairing the world. 4. Society is patriarchal, and we need to reduce the male population or ensure that women dominate social organizations. During this disturbing conversation, Dr. Koopersmith inserted the first pipette but quickly realized, after viewing the grainy ultrasound image, that it was too short; their equipment was outdated. She then took another pipette and again scolded the nurse. Finally, she forcibly inserted a larger pipette, causing our GC to grimace in pain, and expelled our two embryos. The embryologist confirmed that the applicator was clear. As Dr. Koopersmith left the room, she said, ‘Prepare for quadruplets, because we put in two. Hopefully your children can fix this chaotic world.’ We were completely shocked and needed several minutes to process what had happened. I then clarified matters with the nurse, and several serious concerns became evident: 1. The procedure area was far from sterile; Dr. Koopersmith handled the GC's skin without gloves. 2. The pipette was inserted with excessive force, causing our GC visible pain throughout the procedure. 3. Our embryo grades, unique identifiers, and personal information were never checked or verified. We have no way of knowing whether the embryos were correct or even ours. 4. The emotional atmosphere was extremely tense and negative, making us very uncomfortable and causing us to question Dr. Koopersmith's mental state during the procedure. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional. The unprofessional conduct, lack of safety, and disregard for procedural accuracy were shocking and dangerous. We decided to transfer our remaining embryos to another clinic but were told we must pay $2,500 to move our own tissue out of their care. We had a follow-up call with clinic owner Dr. Mor to discuss the situation. Rather than listen, he shouted at us, said, ‘This will be a one-sided conversation,’ and expressed disbelief that we would seek treatment elsewhere. This clinic is corrupt and negligent and appears primarily motivated by profit. My advice is to seek care elsewhere.

I had tubal reversal surgery in April this year. The office staff and Dr. More were wonderful. I am now five weeks and two days pregnant, and the baby is in the uterus! Thank you!

Seven years ago, when my son was born, I had my tubes tied. I believed I should be allowed time before making such a decision, but after 36 hours of terrible contractions, the delivering doctor gave in to my request. I would not have chosen it under other circumstances. Dr. Mor repaired my tubes and restored my ability to have children, and I am very grateful. The process was simple and everyone was supportive. Although I was not an expensive IVF patient, they treated my journey as equally important. They performed ultrasound imaging to examine my tubes, and I felt confident everything would go well. They also had a plan for dye testing if I did not conceive, rather than operating and forgetting me. The doctors are very intelligent. Tubal reversal cost one-third of the price charged in San Diego, and Dr. Mor has had considerable success compared with SD providers. It was the best decision I could make. My reversal was January 5, 2024. I am now seven weeks pregnant, the pregnancy is not ectopic, and the heart is beating safely in my uterus. The views from the waiting and examination rooms were beautiful. Parking is in a garage, and the attendant was exceptionally kind and assured me my vehicle was safe. Overall, I felt very comfortable and look forward to seeing these women and the office again!
