I've been coming here since I was 16; I'm now 31. Jaki Lockwood and Dr. Seeker are great. My annual visits are always good—I feel heard and understood and feel that I get ample time with my provider. However, their scheduling and responses to issues between appointments leave a lot to be desired. The staff/nurses who respond through the messaging portal have me seriously considering changing practices, which is unfortunate after so long.

In the U.S., medical care can sometimes make you feel like just a number, but Dr. Fiona Esfandiari provided a personal touch that truly made a difference. She took the time to explain how we could address my situation and genuinely listened to my concerns. She answered all my questions thoroughly. I feel fortunate to have received her care and highly recommend her. I also recommend her attentive staff, who were helpful and considerate throughout the process.

Dr. Uribe changed my life. I am 29 and had pelvic floor prolapse for 4.5 years. He was the seventh doctor I saw and the only one who truly gave me hope and a real plan to solve the problem. I had surgery last month, and he was excellent throughout the process.

I have come here for annual gynecology appointments since 2021 and will remain a patient as long as possible. The office is always very clean and well maintained, and the Keurig machine is a nice touch.
Although the gynecologist I saw for my first three years is no longer at the practice, I recently met Jaki Lockwood, who immediately made me comfortable. I am transgender, so finding medical care that feels safe can be difficult. AAOBGYN has consistently made me feel safe over the years. I recommend them to anyone looking for a new gynecologist.

I have been going to AAOBGYN for over 20 years. I no longer work in Austin, so it is a bit of a drive for me to come in each year. However, I love the relationship I have with Kelly, one of Dr. Seeker's NPs. Parking is not always easy, but they do offer free valet service, which is wonderful! I plan to keep going until Kelly retires or one of us moves away from the area!

My husband and I were amazed by the care provided by Dr. Seeker and his staff. We lost our first son in infancy and, after receiving many positive recommendations, decided to transfer to Dr. Seeker. Their genuine care and sensitivity to our situation led them to enroll us in a program that supports families who have experienced something similar as we approached our second child's due date. Highly recommended!

As a new patient, this clinic absolutely did not impress me. Patiently waited for my appointment to have them cancel 24 hours before. Understand that it happens but then they couldn't see me for another 2 weeks. As a healthcare professional myself, please do better to be more accommodating especially when cancelations are on your end. Also not to mention, I'm getting texts about having a $2,242 bill on my account before ever being seen. 0/5 stars.

I just moved to Austin a month ago and found that my insurance will cover my visits here. After looking at their reviews I had no doubt I wanted to come here. I get seen by Dr. Cowan and let me tell you he’s an amazing doctor! He listens, he cares, and this nurses are the best…so caring and loving!! I’ve had a procedure done a week ago without any issues and my post-op appointment went great also!! 100% recommend this office!!

I love this clinic and have been a patient here for 25 years. From Dr. Uribe to his physician assistants and nurse practitioners, I have always been treated with respect and care. I was glad to discuss my laboratory results with Natalie through telehealth rather than having to visit the clinic in person. She was very thorough and highly knowledgeable about medication interactions. I will always recommend Dr. Uribe and his team!

The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions. At every prenatal visit, I could see the baby or hear the heartbeat, which was both reassuring and exciting as a first-time mother. I brought my mother and mother-in-law to an appointment, and the nurses were very kind to all of us. They took extra time to show the excited grandmothers the baby and explain what we were seeing. They left thrilled and also loved meeting Dr. Seeker!

I have taken time off work twice to see Dr. E. Both times, I waited in the waiting room for more than an hour without ever seeing the doctor, only to be told I would have to wait at least another 40 minutes. Why schedule an appointment in the first place? I waited several months to see her, time I could have used to find a doctor who would actually see me. I would not recommend this clinic. I understand that emergencies happen, so even after waiting nearly two hours, I readily agreed to reschedule. When I arrived today, the nurse told me the situation and my experience would be different. It was not.

I recently experienced an ectopic pregnancy and had to have surgery, which was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. During this time, Dr. Landherr and the team at AAOBGYN were there for me in a way I truly appreciate.
Dr. Landherr was knowledgeable and took care of my medical needs during an incredibly overwhelming situation. The staff was kind and supportive, and I felt like I was in good hands throughout everything.

Dr. Garcia is amazing!! Words cannot express how highly I think of her; she is truly exceptional. I just delivered my first baby, and she made me feel comfortable and reassured throughout the entire process. She has such a calming presence and confidence that we trusted her completely and knew that regardless of how my pregnancy or delivery progressed, we would receive the best care. After several poor experiences with OB-GYNs, I was especially careful in choosing my next doctor. My husband and I both work in healthcare and had heard of Dr. Garcia's excellent reputation. She not only lived up to it but exceeded our expectations. For years, I had repeatedly mentioned symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) to doctors, but they dismissed them. Dr. Garcia was the first to raise the issue proactively and ultimately conduct a comprehensive evaluation. She also guided me through secondary infertility. I wish she had been my OB-GYN when we first moved to Austin and had helped me welcome my daughter. Still, I am very grateful to have found her for all my gynecologic health needs and any possible future pregnancy. She is highly skilled and kind, a truly exceptional doctor.

I have lived in the United States for two years. In 2024, I began looking for a good gynecologist. I researched thoroughly and asked other women for recommendations.
After searching and listening to others' advice, I chose Dr. Allison Garcia because I felt confident in her. However, I had to wait several months for an appointment, scheduled for December 12, 2024.
I was nervous because I had heard that healthcare here is not always good, and I did not want to face discrimination after a previous unpleasant experience.
Thank God, my appointment with Dr. Allison Garcia was excellent. She was kind and patient with both my husband and me. I felt comfortable that day and believed I had found the perfect gynecologist. Thank you.
However, a few months ago, I received an email saying that my December 12, 2025 appointment had been canceled. I called the clinic, understood the reason, and rescheduled for January 6, 2026, the closest available date. The woman who assisted me was very kind.
Everything was fine, but today I received another email saying my appointment had again been canceled because it was "inconvenient." I am very angry because this is the second cancellation.
I feel disrespected and even discriminated against. It feels as though the service were free, but we pay for good healthcare, quality service, and appropriate attention.
Thank you for reading my email. I understand that you are busy and see many patients, but we also deserve respect.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Garcia for both gynecologic and obstetric care. I first saw her to remove my IUD after another gynecologist had tried unsuccessfully in a very painful procedure. Dr. Garcia used ultrasound and numbed the area, and I felt almost no pain! There is a reason Dr. Garcia has five-star reviews. She truly is the best OB in Austin.
Her bedside manner is unlike that of any other doctor I have seen. You can tell she is passionate about her work and fascinated by the human body, which makes her even more knowledgeable.
After I delivered my first daughter, I remember her showing me the placenta and saying, "It is beautiful; you created it." I laughed because she was not talking about the crying baby on my chest, but at that moment I knew I had a doctor who truly loved what she did.
I am so glad that Dr. Garcia was one of the first people to bring my daughters into the world. I swear I would have kept having children if they were not already waiting for her to have her own!

10/10 recommended! Dr. Garcia has genuine passion, and it shows in her work. She is by far the best OB-GYN. We love her so much! She explains everything, keeps you calm in frightening situations, and never makes you feel rushed. We miss her very much!

My experience with Dr. Garcia was very positive. She was patient and knowledgeable and took time to listen to every question and concern. I first saw her when I was 9 weeks pregnant, and every step of her prenatal and postpartum care has been excellent. I needed a cesarean delivery, and she truly worked a miracle. The procedure was smooth and stress-free, thanks to her and the excellent operating-room team. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia!
