I would give them a million stars if I could! After years of unsuccessful treatment at another clinic, I came to Shady Grove for a second opinion from Dr. B. After the first consultation, I knew I had made the right choice. The Shady Grove team never gave up on me and kept working to find answers. Communication was always excellent. I was scheduled to graduate, and I love the Shady Grove team so much!

My wife Nadia and I had been trying to conceive for a year and a half. From the beginning, we clicked with Dr. Budinetz because of her honesty, her understanding when we needed to cry, and the support she gave us. We dove in with scans, bloodwork, stimulation medication, and more. Yes, it was a little stressful, but we did not mind because we knew what we wanted—our little family. Her team was wonderful, from Mariah's charm to Molly's lively personality, Ashley's honesty, and of course our New York cousin Adam :) The lab technicians were also always friendly and kind! They gave us hope and a reason to keep coming even on days when work and school left us exhausted. Needless to say, we were very nervous about our first FET, but with their continued support, we ultimately succeeded, thanks to Shady Grove's outstanding teamwork, positive energy, and my body recovering when it needed to. We will be forever grateful! They have become part of our extended family. It was truly a pleasure working with them!

For the past six months, SGF has been my strongest support system. Before SGF, I had consulted other clinics and had a terrible experience. After hearing many positive reviews, I ultimately chose SGF, and I am now so glad I did.
The entire SGF Bethlehem team and Dr. Budinetz are wonderful. The nurses at this clinic are genuinely kind and compassionate. Their touch is like magic!

After several unpleasant experiences in another network, I switched here. The difference was remarkable. I primarily used the Shady Grove Bethlehem office, where everyone was wonderful. I highly recommend Shady Grove to anyone facing fertility problems. It is frightening, but everyone at the Bethlehem office is helpful and kind and supports you throughout. There is a great deal of information, but their process is excellent and explained thoroughly, making you feel heard and able to understand what is happening. Today was my last appointment. Although excited to graduate, I was sad not to keep seeing everyone because being so well cared for is very reassuring. Well done, Shady Grove!

I struggled with unexplained secondary infertility for over a decade. After four IUI cycles at another clinic, I found Dr. B and am very grateful I did. From our first consultation, she was optimistic and positive. I knew she would do everything possible to make my dream of a second child come true. After joining her clinic, we decided to proceed directly to IVF and chose the shared-risk program. The process was long, but her team made it very easy. I consulted in May and began my first cycle in June. My assigned nurse, Stacy, was amazing and patiently answered all my many questions. I cannot praise the SG Bethlehem team enough. The front desk was always welcoming, and Molly, the ultrasound technician, was wonderful. My first frozen embryo transfer succeeded, and I graduated at 8 weeks pregnant. I will always be grateful to Dr. B and her team. My due date is in April. If you are on this journey and seeking the right doctor, choose her. She is heaven-sent.

Dr. B is an excellent physician who genuinely cares about me and my family. She went above and beyond in caring for us and made me feel supported throughout this emotional family-building journey.
However, the clinic’s policy prohibiting siblings from attending appointments is a major barrier for families experiencing secondary infertility. Because appointments often require same-day bloodwork or ultrasound, we had to delay care for several months because we could not arrange round-the-clock childcare and the clinic would not allow my 7-year-old to accompany me to appointments such as a routine 5-minute blood draw. This policy made families like ours feel discriminated against and made an already stressful journey even harder.
Overall, we ultimately had a very good experience at the clinic and welcomed our miracle baby this spring. I am deeply grateful for the care Dr. B and her team provided. I hope Shady Grove will continue to find ways to support all families experiencing different forms of infertility.

The infertility journey is difficult and sometimes confusing. Two things were always with me: my wonderfully supportive husband and the entire team at Shady Grove Bethlehem. I sincerely thank them for the help, patience, and care they gave us. Whenever we had a question or concern, nurse Stacey, financial coordinator Angel, and our physician Dr. B responded promptly. Every time we entered the clinic, Adam greeted us with a smile and asked how we were doing. My physician assistant, Molly, performed my examinations and was always kind and willing to explain things. The other staff members we had the pleasure of meeting were the same. If you are looking for a fertility clinic, I highly recommend Shady Grove Bethlehem for personalized, compassionate care.

Shady Grove Fertility in Bethlehem, PA is an amazing place. The level of care that one receives here is some of the best I found. Starting with the receptionist Adam who always greeted us with a smile to Stacy, an amazing nurse who always quickly got back to us to answer our questions, to Angel our financial coordinator and finally Dr. Budinetz herself. Having gone through this process it can be long, scary, and overwhelming under the best of circumstances. We were lucky to have our gynecologist recommend this facility to us. I do not know enough kind words to describe the people that work here. I would encourage anyone looking for any type of fertility support to check out Shady Grove Fertility. I would recommend them to friends, family, and anyone who would listen.

Everything I share here comes from my real experience 😊
I went through 6 IVF cycles in total, including 4 at RMA in New Jersey and others at leading clinics abroad. We usually ended up with only one embryo, which was always disappointing. We were even advised to use donor eggs. We faced severe male-factor infertility, and because of my age, I also had few eggs.
Eventually, we decided to stop and live a peaceful life as a couple. About a year later, however, a voice deep inside kept telling me I was meant to be a mother.
That was when I found SGF Bethlehem and Dr. Budinetz near my home. Honestly, we had no expectations, but her warmth, support, and approach to our case gave us renewed hope and excitement. She created a personalized treatment plan, and I never felt like an ordinary patient. She was extremely attentive and thoughtful. They were also considerate financially and placed no added pressure on us. My nurse Stacy may truly be the gentlest nurse in the world.
The result was that all 3 mature eggs retrieved fertilized and developed successfully to day 5. It still feels unbelievable. Yesterday, Dr. Karen transferred two of them very smoothly and professionally. I am sincerely grateful.
This team brought us so close to our dream, and we feel incredibly fortunate. I wish I could say more, but words cannot express my gratitude.

After multiple failures, the SGF Allentown/Bethlehem team truly changed our lives. My first transfer unfortunately failed, but Dr. B and her team supported us through that difficult time with calm and grace, and their dedication was unmatched. It took me so long to write this review because it is difficult to put into words how grateful I am to Dr. Budinetz, her medical team, and the entire staff at Shady Grove Fertility. My fertility journey began in 2023. After years of trying, two egg retrievals, and four rounds of IVF, I finally welcomed a beautiful baby boy. From the moment I began working with this team, I felt respect, professionalism, sincerity, and hope. I always felt that they put my best interests first. Dr. Budinetz is a patient-centered physician focused on efficiency and outcomes. Fertility treatment is not one-size-fits-all, and sometimes it takes time to understand what your body needs to succeed. As I mentioned, I underwent four embryo transfers before finally succeeding, but each step brought us closer to our goal. We tried new treatments, and my fertility plan was always tailored to my circumstances to maximize the likelihood of success. This was never a pattern of repeating the same approach while expecting a different result. I will always be grateful to Dr. Budinetz and her team for the determination, expertise, and compassion they showed during the hardest period of my life. Shady Grove Bethlehem is different. Everybody was very caring and helpful. After struggling for so long to get pregnant, my husband and I had almost given up hope. But everyone at Shady Grove renewed our hope and gave us the strength to keep trying, and we were finally able to conceive naturally. I have nothing bad to say at all about Shady Grove Fertility.

Beware! The staff quoted the wrong price, leaving you responsible for thousands of dollars. They said testing would cost less than $300. I received three bills from three different places totaling more than $1,500. The staff could not even tell me which companies would bill me. I honestly do not understand how this is legal. This was with insurance.

My wife and I came to Shady Grove Fertility hoping for compassionate treatment, but the staff were cold and dismissive. The doctor rushed through the consultation without explaining our options. I cannot say enough good things about SGF's downtown office. This is my second treatment here, and the staff is genuinely considerate and supportive. They respond quickly, and I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen—usually I am seen immediately. Dr. Kallen is also wonderful. I highly recommend SGF. They are truly first-rate. Dr. Kallen and his nurse Jordan are absolute angels. My husband and I initially tried intrauterine insemination (IUI), but it was unsuccessful, so we moved on to in vitro fertilization (IVF). Dr. Kallen and Jordan adjusted my treatment plan, and we are now successfully approaching 14 weeks of pregnancy. People often contact me to ask about my IVF experience and where I received treatment. I always tell them SGF and express how grateful I am to everyone there. I recommend SGF to everyone. Despite the pain of infertility, I have only wonderful memories of my time there. From the beginning of our fertility journey, Dr. Kallen has been our advocate, defender, and steadfast guide through the complexities of fertility treatment.
His decisions are grounded not only in clinical data and current science but also in deep concern for the person behind the chart and laboratory results. When we had questions, and we had many, he never dismissed them. He took time to explain every option, his recommendation, and the reason for it. Once, I brought him an idea I had seen online and asked whether it could be added to my treatment plan. Although he values evidence-based care and there was little data supporting what I had read, he did not dismiss me. Instead, he listened carefully, researched it in his own time, and ultimately found a thoughtful, safe way to incorporate it into my treatment.
Thanks to his expertise, honesty, and compassion, we welcomed our miracle baby. Dr. Kallen, we will always be grateful for your dedication, talent, and support at every step. You were our strongest advocate during this physically and emotionally exhausting journey. We will never be able to thank you enough!

Dr. Kallen and the SGF team met all my needs and more. They are knowledgeable, caring, understanding, and patient. I do not think I can thank them enough to express our gratitude. I wish SGF could have remained our team throughout the entire pregnancy and delivery. That is how much we trust them. The feeling when we learned the IVF had worked was indescribable. The doctor was very nice at first. My AMH was very low. Because I had undergone chemotherapy, donor embryos or donor eggs were automatically recommended. I was then told that the wait for African American embryos would be very long. There was some kind of miscommunication between the doctor and nurse. The nurse called to schedule my baseline appointment, but when I arrived, the doctor asked whether I had been matched with an embryo. I said no, because I had been told the wait would take years. He then asked why I had an appointment. I said, well, your nurse called to schedule it, so you should ask her. His manner was rude. They called me for follow-up, but after that encounter I decided not to remain a patient. I told them I would not return to their office. I went to another clinic and ultimately retrieved my own eggs. They underwent PGT and the results were good. I am sure he is not a bad doctor; we simply were not a good match, and that is fine. I am glad I decided to go elsewhere before spending another $30,000, because I could have started with my own eggs!
