Excellent doctors and care coordinators. They were always available to answer all my questions. The facility is also nice and clean! Drawbacks: You have to drive to San Ramon for procedures and deal with the billing department. Receipts are not itemized. I questioned charges, and twice they told me to ignore them. This made me second-guess every bill I received.

Reproductive Science Center and the entire Los Gatos/San Ramon team are wonderful. My case manager/care team’s attention to detail was remarkable. I would casually mention something during an appointment without expecting anyone to notice, and by the next appointment, that detail had been remembered/addressed/followed up on. I was amazed. As a provider myself, I was impressed by everyone involved in our care. From the front desk to the phlebotomists, MAs, sonographers, RNs/case managers, Dr. Harris, and the surgical team in San Ramon, including the anesthesiologists and doctors, I always felt heard, validated, and cared for. We cannot say enough good things. Infertility is a frightening journey, but this team ensured we were comfortable with every choice we made and made this chapter easier. If you are uncertain about the next step in your family-planning journey, call Reproductive Science Center. You will not regret it.

The RSC Los Gatos office has excellent facilities and a warm, professional, enthusiastic team. Dr. Lee and her team are truly outstanding—caring, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout my journey. From the initial consultation through every step of treatment, Dr. Lee provided expert guidance and ensured that I felt informed and comfortable. Her compassion and dedication had a major impact on my experience, and I could not have asked for a better doctor. When Dr. Lee was out of the office, I had the privilege of being cared for by Dr. Harris and Dr. Homer. Both were very professional, patient, and attentive. They took time to listen to all my concerns, answer my questions thoroughly, and ensure I felt reassured and well cared for while Dr. Lee was away. Their expertise and kindness further strengthened my confidence in RSC. I had excellent experiences with both blood draws and ultrasounds. Judi in particular was outstanding—very gentle and attentive to detail. For anyone seeking IVF care in the Bay Area, RSC truly is a dream come true. I highly recommend them to anyone on this journey!

The fertility treatment journey is difficult, but RSC Los Gatos made it very smooth and manageable. From the beginning, when they explained the options without ever being pushy, through the final stage of embryo transfer, they maintained consistently high-quality service and ensured I did not experience any more discomfort than absolutely necessary. Because of my age and because we wanted to freeze embryos anyway, I chose IVF. Christina guided me through the entire process and helped ease any hesitation or fear I had when enrolling. She and the other nurses were also very gentle during ultrasounds. Wachs patiently answered all my questions before I enrolled and made sure I felt very comfortable at every meeting. Before freezing, I had one egg retrieval and PGT-A testing of the embryos. This was followed by a polypectomy and ERA biopsy, then embryo transfer. The injections were manageable thanks to their excellent training materials and home delivery of medications by my provider. Dr. Wachs is truly gifted and oversaw my entire IVF process, including the ERA biopsy, polypectomy, and embryo transfer. Dr. Laura Eisman successfully performed my egg retrieval, and I recovered smoothly without complications. The anesthesiologists were also excellent for every procedure. Judi Mecchella was my case manager and supported me throughout the process. This is a dream team, and I am extremely satisfied with RSC. I am so glad I found them. I now have an 8-month-old child, and she is such a blessing!

Dr. Michael Homer is an absolute pleasure. He is the best person for the job. I had my initial consultation with Dr. Homer, and he answered all my questions with complete empathy, truly easing all our concerns.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Harris and Sharon throughout my IVF journey, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their care and support. I came into the process knowing very little and feeling overwhelmed, but from day one, Dr. Harris took the time—over an hour—to thoroughly explain all of our options, patiently answer our questions, and help us understand what steps we could take next. That first meeting gave me a sense of clarity and confidence I truly needed. The IVF process itself can be stressful, with so many medications and detailed instructions to follow. Sharon was absolutely incredible—she always followed up with a call and sent clear, personalized instructions based on our discussions. She was consistently there for me, offering guidance, encouragement, and compassion every step of the way. What really stood out to me was how I was never treated like just another patient. From the very beginning, the entire team made me feel welcomed, cared for, and supported. Thanks to their expertise and kindness, we were able to conceive after two attempts—and now we’ve joyfully graduated from the clinic! I’m so thankful for everyone at the office, and especially for Dr. Harris and Sharon. They made a challenging process so much more manageable and meaningful.

A nightmare. A terrible experience—I would not recommend them to anyone. They do not care about you or your family-building goals. They only want to bring in as many patients as possible and charge enormous fees without delivering results. Communication is appalling. They do not explain the process well or properly address your questions and concerns, and they rush you through appointments and procedures. The whole experience feels insulting and dehumanizing. They rely on poor technology and online modules. The IUI/IVF process is stressful enough on its own, and everything at RSC only makes it worse. There is hardly anything positive to say. Billing is another nightmare. They supposedly have a billing team, but they do not coordinate properly with insurance companies. They are unhelpful and a complete joke. If you are going through infertility, choose another clinic—do not come here. You will be treated like a number, rushed through appointments, and left confused and frustrated throughout the process. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 Read the other negative reviews and take them seriously. You will waste a lot of time and money here and end up wanting to tear your hair out.
2025.06.04
Although the doctors themselves are excellent and provide high-quality medical care, the clinic's financial and billing operations are a nightmare. They frequently overcharge, fail to submit claims to your insurance, and even refuse to handle prior authorizations when specifically requested. Instead of helping, they send you back and forth with your insurer, take no responsibility, and offer almost no support. It is extremely frustrating and feels disorganized and careless.
2025.09.07
This review is about the clinic's internal staff, not the front desk staff. My husband and I entered the clinic for a consultation with the doctor. When we left the consultation room and walked into the hallway, I turned around and saw all the staff gathered together chatting. As soon as they noticed us coming out, their behavior suddenly changed. This made me very uncomfortable from the first visit. We decided not to continue working with them. Very unprofessional conduct in a medical setting.

I want to sincerely thank Dr. Lee and the RSC team for helping me achieve my family goal, i.e., to have a baby. This goal was achieved with only one stimulation cycle and one embryo transfer, which is truly beyond my expectations since I am over 42 and had only a few follicles. Dr. Lee is excellent, RSC's IVF lab is fantastic, the management system is efficient, and the entire process went smoothly. In addition, my company provides infertility benefits, and RSC is within my insurance network, with very favorable contract pricing.
2025.10.07
A 15-minute appointment became more than an hour because of negligence. My appointment was very early, and I expected everything to go smoothly, but it was extremely frustrating. After my blood draw, the doctor told me there was no room available for an ultrasound, so I was asked to wait outside. I ended up waiting more than an hour and honestly felt they had forgotten me. When I asked at the front desk, they simply gave the standard response that they were overwhelmed, and no one checked the appointment schedule. I went back twice more before the receptionist finally said she would notify the doctor. Only then did the ultrasound doctor call me in. A simple appointment that should have taken 15 minutes lasted more than an hour. I was very hungry because I had skipped breakfast, expecting to finish quickly, and my entire day was delayed. This disorganization and lack of communication felt very unprofessional, especially for a medical clinic.

I am extremely grateful to Dr. Harris and his assistant Lauren for their attentive care. From the beginning, they combined expertise with genuine compassion and guided me through every step of my fertility journey. Throughout the process, I always felt heard, encouraged, and cared for. All I did was follow their guidance and trust their expertise, and now I am successfully pregnant after my first IVF cycle. Thanks to their skill and kindness, something that once seemed impossible became possible. I do not usually write Google reviews, but I am sincerely grateful to this team and want to encourage anyone on a similar journey. It is absolutely worth it.

I worked with Dr. Reed at the San Mateo clinic, and the entire process went very smoothly. The clinic's procedures and scheduling were highly efficient, and every appointment was on time. After we moved, they were also flexible in arranging the transfer of care. The patient care coordinators are knowledgeable and patiently answer every question. Dr. Reed was involved throughout the development of our treatment plan and offered many helpful suggestions. I highly recommend all their clinics.

I. Misleading Information and Lack of Continuity of Care I chose Dr. Malinda Lee, reportedly RSC's most popular doctor, and waited more than two months for an initial appointment with her. Inadequate disclosure: Dr. Lee was away during my ovarian stimulation. I was not informed and only discovered this crucial absence myself after day five of stimulation. Poor communication: The case manager tried to conceal Dr. Lee's absence, which I consider dishonest and a serious breach of trust. Inadequate covering physician: I was assigned to Dr. Harris, whom I never met. His subsequent phone consultations were very brief, lasting only 1-2 minutes each. II. Outcome and Treatment Failure The outcome of this cycle was very poor, even worse than my previous cycle at Spring. The main clinical problem was severely uneven follicle growth. III. Summary of Clinical and Communication Errors The following errors directly contributed to the poor cycle outcome: Case manager negligence (Shannon Johnson): I did not receive adequate instructions about the birth control pills. I mistakenly took the placebo pills in the final row, causing ovarian suppression to fail. This directly led to highly uneven follicle sizes at the start of stimulation. Inappropriate monitoring plan: During the final days of monitoring, I was initially scheduled for daily ultrasounds. Dr. Harris unexpectedly extended the interval to two days. This delay was detrimental because the follicles were already too large by the final scan. Frequent daily monitoring was necessary and could have reduced the risk. Inconsistent follicle measurements: The ultrasound measurements were clearly inconsistent. Specifically, the records showed some follicles measuring smaller later than they had several days earlier. IV. Subsequent Retaliation After I raised these concerns and complaints, RSC unilaterally terminated me as a patient without my consent.

This review concerns both the Los Gatos and San Ramon clinics. Our experience with RSC was terrible. I would never recommend them to anyone trying to conceive because they simply ignore their clients. After matching with a surrogate, we submitted her medical records. More than seven weeks later, and still waiting, they have not reviewed them. Despite contacting them every week, we have heard nothing. We could even lose our surrogate, and it is absurd that this is the bottleneck in the process with such poor communication. If you are undergoing or about to begin infertility treatment, please choose another provider. Take the other negative reviews seriously; they are true!

After two years of infertility, I can finally announce that I am pregnant!!!! 💙🎉✨ I am incredibly grateful to my care team, Dr. Wachs and Salina, who supported me through a difficult IVF journey and helped me remain optimistic and confident. Dr. Wachs is highly skilled. She patiently listened to every question, answered compassionately, and eased my fears during treatment. Salina kept me informed at every step and communicated clearly, kindly, and promptly. I truly felt they went far beyond expectations. I will miss working with them, but I am extremely grateful for the outcome. Our baby boy is due in June 2026 🥹🤍

A big shout-out to Dr. Lee and our case manager, Ella. We are beyond grateful for their constant support. Without them, we cannot imagine the joy of holding our son in our arms today. They gave us hope and strength throughout the journey and made this Christmas truly unforgettable for our family. We would definitely recommend RSC to any friends who met the same situation!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Dr. Harris guide us through our IVF journey. What began as a daunting and nerve-wracking process quickly became manageable and reassuring once we met him. From the very start, he ensured we were fully informed and supported at every step. After each appointment and test, he took the time to explain everything with kindness, patience, and genuine understanding. His friendly nature made every session feel lighter and far less stressful. He even called after each visit to discuss results and outline the next steps, which meant a great deal to us. Thanks to his expertise, we experienced excellent outcomes during the process as well as throughout my first trimester. He consistently recommended what was truly best and most convenient for us. With Dr. Harris as our doctor, we felt confident, supported, and fully informed throughout the entire process. We were also very lucky to have Lauren as our patient care advocate who managed all communication and coordination till we graduated. Throughout the entire process, Lauren ensured everything was timely, clear, and seamless. From the treatment calendar and tests to ultrasounds and prescriptions, she kept us fully informed every step of the way. She reached out both by phone and message, always making sure my questions were answered. Her empathy, patience, and warmth were truly reassuring. Lauren was consistently supportive, cheerful, and prompt, especially during the treatment cycles when timing is so critical. She delivered every piece of advice with clarity and kindness. Our experience at RSC has been nothing short of exceptional. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had such a dedicated team supporting us throughout this journey. Their unwavering commitment to helping patients achieve their family-planning goals with genuine care, compassion, and warmth, played a major role in our positive outcome. IVF can be a stressful process that requires patience, but the RSC team truly understands this. They made every step feel manageable and supported, ensuring the journey was as seamless as possible. The staff consistently ensured we had all the information we needed. Communication was smooth and thorough, whether it was about medical guidance, prescriptions, insurance, financial matters, or anything else related to our care. Every team member is clearly an expert in their role, and their professionalism shines through. Thanks to the RSC team, our family-planning dream has come true. We are deeply grateful.

Reproductive Science Center (RSC) in the San Francisco Bay Area conceived me using an in-house egg donor. As a teenager, I developed serious health problems, and my mother called RSC to ask whether there was a similar family history. RSC refused to help, saying they did not retain records that long. Unfortunately, U.S. egg donor clinics may keep records for only eight years. Some of my health problems did have a family history that was unknown at the time of donation, so it was not in the records given to my parents. Remember that donor records are only a snapshot of a young, healthy person whose health can change, as often happens. RSC provided no help and made no effort to obtain updated information from the donor. This endangered my life, and they did not care. This could happen to your family. Please do not use an anonymous donor. Protect your children by ensuring they can access accurate, current medical information. Most clinics do not proactively provide health updates, even when donors contact them offering updates. In the United States, clinics are not required to verify donor medical information or retain records, so families must take responsibility for this themselves: choose an identity-release donor, ideally one known from birth, or a known donor with a legal contract. Then, if your child becomes ill and RSC refuses to help, you can still protect their health. Their doctors are highly skilled, at least in my family’s experience, so they may be a good choice for non-donor IVF, ICSI, or IUI. However, their ethics and treatment of donor-conceived people are inadequate. Donor-conceived children deserve access to their genetic information when they become adults.

I suspect all the positive reviews are fake!!! I called this clinic, explained what I needed, and asked whether they could help. The front desk said they would ask the doctor and call me back, but I never heard from them. Now they have emailed saying I owe them $100. 😡 I called to ask why I was being charged, but no one answered. This clinic is fake and unprofessional and is not worth your time or money!!
2026.05.16
The doctor repeatedly called me without warning from a number that went directly to voicemail. I called the clinic back several times, but they could not transfer me to the doctor, which made no sense. For an initial consultation, they wanted me to schedule another appointment three weeks later—no thanks! I was extremely disappointed by the lack of options and care, especially for an initial consultation: no Zoom video meeting, no transferred call, nothing. This clinic seems stuck in the 19th century. I will never return and remain extremely disappointed by their lack of options and care.

My baby is one month old, and I am extremely grateful to Dr. Harris and his care team. Dr. Harris is the most compassionate and professional doctor I have ever met. I felt supported and informed at every step. Sharon, his case manager, has the patience of an angel.

Dr. Harris and his team are amazing! We had the privilege of working with Dr. Harris and Sharon and highly recommend them. From the first appointment, they showed compassion, patience, and deep expertise. They took the time to answer all our questions thoroughly and made us feel incredibly supported. Dr. Harris and his team, including Sharon and the other members of the Harris team, were highly professional, kind, and reassuring during one of the most important times in our lives. We felt truly fortunate to have them beside us. Dr. Harris is not only a highly skilled IVF specialist but also a warm, compassionate, and genuine person.

Dr. Harris is amazing! He and his team made an otherwise stressful visit easy and smooth. Sharon was wonderful too. She answered all my possibly overthought 'silly' questions and explained every step in great detail. Thank you so much, Dr. Harris, Sharon, and the nursing team!

Dr. Harris is the best doctor you could ask for during this confusing and stressful journey. He patiently answers every question, and his smile always makes you feel better. Thank you for your support and encouragement throughout. We have recommended you to all our friends. You are the best, Dr. Harris!

Dr. Harris, Sharon, and the rest of the RSC care team were extremely helpful and compassionate throughout our treatment. They responded quickly and helped with every question or concern. I highly recommend them because they adapt to each patient’s needs and offer flexible scheduling.

If you are undergoing IVF, you need this team. Dr. Harris and Nurse Sharon Le gave my wife and me hope. After multiple unexpected miscarriages, we began this journey anxiously, but they reassured us and were always available to answer questions. As a physician, I can say Dr. Harris is one of the best clinicians I have met. Sharon’s quick responses were always thorough and reassuring. They are a top-tier, genuinely compassionate team who made us feel fully supported. We strongly recommend them to anyone beginning IVF! I also want to thank Dr. Homer, whom we had the privilege of seeing at several appointments. He is an excellent doctor who went above and beyond to answer all our questions with well-researched responses. Overall, our entire experience at RSC earned an A+!
2025.10.24
We are very grateful to Dr. Harris and Nurse Sharon Le for their exceptional care throughout IVF. Dr. Harris has outstanding clinical expertise. His reassuring manner and infectious positivity always made us smile and gave us much-needed hope at every step. Sharon was highly attentive, consistently went above and beyond, and answered our questions promptly and thoroughly, greatly easing our anxiety. They are an exceptional team who made us feel completely at ease and fully supported. We strongly recommend their dedicated, compassionate, first-rate care.

I have never seen such an absurd medical paperwork process. They made countless mistakes, forcing me to spend a great deal of time resolving them by phone. I may also face a large bill because of their paperwork errors and delays.
2026.01.08
The administrative staff at this clinic are absolutely terrible and made both of my experiences extremely painful. I strongly recommend avoiding this clinic. During embryo cryopreservation, they gave me completely incorrect instructions, delaying the process by more than a month. They also changed my protocol at the last minute without discussing it with me, causing me to take additional medications I did not want. The situation improved only after I escalated it to a supervisor and my doctor and strongly advocated for myself. Fourteen months later, I tried an embryo transfer and encountered the same administrative failures. Because of my previous experience, I repeatedly asked questions to ensure I fully understood the process, and they explicitly told me that a particular protocol was unnecessary. I followed the instructions exactly, only to be told afterward that I had to change protocols again. The administrative staff kept telling me, “It’s okay.” But that completely misses the point. The issue is that despite my repeated confirmations, they consistently failed to communicate clearly and accurately in advance. My doctor was always wonderful. Unfortunately, administrative incompetence completely ruined my experience. I regret coming here, but it is too late for me. I hope my experience helps others make a more informed choice.

Words cannot express how highly I regard Dr. Harris. From our first visit, he was positive, caring, thorough, and extremely supportive. His calm, steady manner made every appointment easier, which matters greatly during the emotional ups and downs of fertility treatment. He never rushed us, patiently answered every question, and made us feel like true partners in our care. I left each visit hopeful and reassured. We are very grateful to have found him and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone undergoing fertility treatment.

During my IVF experience, I was grateful to have an outstanding reproductive endocrinologist who showed compassion and kindness and helped ease my anxiety by giving me extensive information about my treatment, even when the news was not positive. Dr. Harris went above and beyond in personalizing my protocols, updates, and information. Everyone can attest to his infectious cheerfulness—I had never felt so encouraged or had so much preoperative anxiety relieved as I did before egg retrieval.

Dr. Harris is the most amazing person and doctor I have met. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind, and caring. He did everything possible to help me achieve the best outcome. He frequently contacted me personally and ensured I received clear information and guidance. He was always positive, cheerful, and supportive! I cannot find words to describe how fortunate I feel to have him as my doctor. With his tremendous help, I achieved the best result and became pregnant on the first try! I will always be grateful for his wisdom and limitless support during my fertility journey.

Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Isiah Harris and his team. Dr. Harris is one of the best doctors we have met: kind, personable, and experienced. After every visit, he called to explain everything and give me hope. As a patient, I can say this is significant because it builds confidence. I am now 11 weeks pregnant. My husband and I are overjoyed and excited, and I do not know how to express my emotions. I have been married for about 10 years and struggled to become pregnant, and now our dream has finally come true. Thank you again, Dr. Harris. You are the best. Many thanks to my case managers, Laura and Karla. These two kind women always gave me the best help. You are amazing. Thank you so much. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

On behalf of my family, I sincerely thank Dr. Harris and his team for bringing our beautiful daughter into our lives. Although he was not my primary doctor, he cared for me when my doctor was out. He was always caring, supportive, and attentive, addressing every concern whenever I saw him. Our IVF journey was long and challenging, but Dr. Harris made it easier through his compassion and expertise. I truly appreciate his professionalism and kindness. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey!

I am so glad Dr. Harris was selected as our doctor. His warm, reassuring, understanding, and kind manner was deeply needed during an uncertain time. He is technically knowledgeable, but his compassion for patients stood out most. Throughout the process, he always asked how I was doing and made room in every interaction to check how I felt, physically and emotionally. Reaching him was never difficult; his case manager team made him accessible. His talent and passion for helping families grow changed our lives forever.
