We went to San Francisco. I believe the problems were poor laboratory quality and inadequate physician oversight. We completed 2 cycles with over 35 eggs each, but nothing seemed to work. The doctor blamed us. We investigated and found paperwork errors, including the wrong trigger date, physician errors involving poor communication, and apparent laboratory problems reflected in poor fertilization results. Dr. Erin Moy, who runs the clinic, became defensive and awful. We switched to a dedicated IVF clinic, and they had no problems. In one cycle, we obtained over 35 eggs and ultimately 11 viable embryos. The cost was about the same as Kaiser IVF. Nothing compares with going to a genuine IVF clinic with good doctors and a good laboratory! Even if Kaiser IVF is free for you, seriously consider paying extra and using a dedicated IVF clinic to save time and physical pain.

I can say only positive things about the Aks facility. They know how to care for you. All the nurses are very patient and attentive. Everyone, from the receptionists to the nurses, is kind and helpful. They made my experience very smooth, and I am deeply grateful.

I am shocked to see so many negative reviews. I had very positive experiences with dozens of people at this office—Dr. Farah-Elvis, Erica, Carla, the front desk staff, medical assistants, and everyone else. They were all kind, helpful, and understanding. I always felt cared for and heard. Infertility is awful, but I am grateful I received treatment from this staff at this clinic.

The treatment was ineffective. I wish I had changed insurance providers instead of choosing Kaiser Permanente.

I had an amazing experience at this clinic. The only thing to keep in mind is that if an appointment is canceled, they may not always notify you, so it is best to double-check. My IUI experience went very smoothly. The nurse practitioner, Tiffany, was extremely experienced and kind and guided me very well throughout the process. I felt well supported and in good hands. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this clinic. Just follow the instructions they provide carefully, and everything will go smoothly. You will feel supported and positive throughout your journey.
