I am very surprised by some of the negative reviews here. I understand that individual experiences may vary, but ours was very positive. This was our second IVF clinic. I am 44 years old, and our previous egg retrieval produced no normal embryos—we retrieved one, but it did not pass PGT-A testing—so we decided to use donor eggs. We chose PNW because of its streamlined donor egg program, which was one of the best I found in terms of cost and selection. They were very helpful throughout the process, especially during embryo transfer and preparation. Both the Bellevue team and the Seattle care team were responsive, supportive, thoughtful, and present throughout. Our only frustration was the lack of clarity about insurance coverage, but once that was resolved, the transfer team, doctors, and nurses were wonderful! I am now 9 weeks pregnant. It is still early, and we are praying everything goes well, but we are very happy with the outcome and service. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

After a terrible experience at Seattle Reproductive Medicine, I transferred to Pacific Northwest Fertility (PNWF), and the difference was remarkable. My doctor and care team were compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my well-being. IVF is a challenging journey, and having a team that truly supports you is essential. Every doctor, nurse, and staff member I encountered treated me with kindness and respect. I am very grateful for the care I received and highly recommend my physician, Dr. Tsai, and this clinic to anyone undergoing fertility treatment.

Our experience at PNW Fertility was very poor, and I would not recommend it. I went to the Bellevue location for a repeat hysterosalpingogram (HSG); the staff there were professional and friendly, and the clinic was clean and comfortable. However, when the HSG showed both fallopian tubes were blocked and we did not want IVF, our doctor seemed completely uninterested in helping us find other options. She gave us a list of about 15 doctors who “might” treat blocked tubes. I spent a great deal of time calling them, but most could not help. I finally found a doctor who could treat the condition at another fertility clinic, and he was not on PNW's list. PNW then seemed to struggle to send my records to the new clinic. I understand that PNW cannot treat every condition, but I expect its doctors to refer patients to a provider that actually can. Sending patients on a frustrating, hopeless search for care is unacceptable.

The doctors and staff were professional, attentive, and very helpful throughout the process.

I had two egg retrievals. Dr. Cottrell and her team were very responsive and patiently explained everything, which reassured me. I am pleased with my experience and would recommend this clinic.

A terrible experience. Staff were dismissive and at one point even joked about the frightening symptoms and side effects I reported. Because they offered no acknowledgment or solution, I had to advocate relentlessly for myself to be taken seriously, and I felt deceived. This reflects a broader problem: the clinic is so focused on metrics such as egg count and treatment outcomes that it overlooks patients' emotional, psychological, and physical well-being.

A very modern and clean clinic. All the doctors, nurses, and staff are very kind and experienced.

My wife recently graduated from PNWF, and we are looking forward to our first OB-GYN visit. Our journey lasted nearly two years, and we feel very fortunate to have chosen Dr. Massie and PNWF! Communication was efficient and warm. We typically received updates from the team on the day of each visit by email, phone, or voicemail. Special thanks to Anna, Megan, and Kim. All our questions were answered promptly and clearly, usually within a few hours. Appointments were very convenient. One thing we liked about PNWF is that it is open almost every day, including weekends and holidays. Although my wife did not see Dr. Massie at every visit, every doctor and nurse practitioner she met was highly professional and very friendly. We also knew Dr. Massie reviewed and discussed results with the team, so we felt completely reassured. If you are considering donor eggs, note that PWNF accepts only fresh egg donors and does not accept frozen eggs from other egg banks, apart from its own bank. Arranging a fresh egg donor usually takes longer, but the process went relatively smoothly for us.

This was the worst outcome of my three IVF egg retrievals. My insurance does not cover IVF, so I paid out of pocket, and this retrieval produced nothing. I had two virtual appointments with Dr. Lamb to ensure she understood the problems from my first two retrievals and to discuss different options. I described the issues from my prior cycles in great detail. She insisted that I needed a particular protocol and that I should “advocate” for it whether I chose her or another clinic. She even criticized my previous clinic for triggering too early and told us not to use other clinics we were considering because her laboratory was the best. Yet she did exactly what my previous clinic had done and prescribed only half their trigger dose. She retrieved half as many eggs, and I ended up with no embryos. At least my other clinic produced one euploid embryo with each retrieval. At our follow-up, she had no answer when asked what she would do differently. She wanted us to repeat the same protocol while expecting a different result. That is absurd. I trusted her because she spoke with such certainty during both consultations that we would achieve a different outcome, and she strongly pushed us to choose her clinic over the others we had considered. I now deeply regret trusting her. We are no closer to having a child, spent a large amount out of pocket, and wasted what may have been our final opportunity to become parents. During the consultations, she repeatedly said donor eggs were unnecessary because the issue was medical and this protocol would solve it. At the follow-up, she completely reversed her position, even though she had already reviewed data from two retrievals. As others have mentioned, this clinic has excellent salespeople, and I feel she is one of them. She never disclosed that the clinic's policy is to use only low doses of gonadotropin injections. From other patients, I also learned they have a policy limiting stimulation medication doses. They never told us this, and we absolutely would not have chosen this clinic had we known. When we raised these concerns and pointed out their poor communication during my cycle, they gaslighted us and told us we needed counseling. I deeply regret trusting Dr. Lamb and this clinic. Edit: I requested my medical records from PNWF and found multiple errors, ranging from conditions my child does not have to medications I have never taken, along with many false statements Dr. Lamb claimed I had made, while none of her own statements were documented. I went through their records correction process, but it was a joke. Instead of correcting or fully removing the errors, they simply cut them from one section and pasted them together at the bottom of the page. The errors remained despite my request to remove them completely. I regret ever becoming involved with them and would never recommend them because of their lack of professionalism.

I am furious at this organization's disregard for intended parents. A friend agreed to donate her eggs because she did not plan to have children herself and had already passed the usual donor age. She decided to forgo compensation because this was also her opportunity to have a biological child. We would cover all medical costs, and our child could have a relationship with their biological mother. However, after speaking with PNWF, she said its staff encouraged her to ask for compensation. Considering all factors, including success rates and cost, our agency had recommended that we use their services. Three years later, our friend said she regretted not doing so. She said PNWF repeatedly told her she should not donate without compensation, which clouded her judgment. I understand that private agencies pay donors. But this is our hard-earned money, and we are trying to have a child, not doing this for entertainment. PNWF's blatant disregard for IPs is cruel, inhumane, and selfish. If you are an intended parent, you should avoid them.

My overall experience with every department at PNWF was excellent, especially with the doctors and nurses at both locations. The billing department's customer service and the doctors were outstanding and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this clinic because every staff member is wonderful, and they offer all financing options.

We had an amazing experience here! Every interaction with nurses and doctors was positive, respectful, and informative. Dr. Rosenberg was our doctor, and we loved her. She is highly knowledgeable and helped us develop a plan to address our fertility issues. They were always very responsive to questions. We became pregnant after our first fertility treatment and now have a baby! I will always recommend PNWF to anyone struggling with fertility issues, and I will return when we are ready to try for another child!

This was absolutely the worst experience at this clinic. The nurses are completely incompetent, unhelpful, and seemingly uninterested in patients. We constantly had to pursue answers, remind them to check things, and follow up ourselves because they took no action. Their lack of basic professionalism and compassion made an already stressful process much worse. Without the doctors, this place would be a complete disaster. The nurses are useless, disorganized, and unable to provide the standard of care expected from a fertility clinic.

Review update: I officially graduated from PNWF this month. I am changing my review to 4 stars. The one-star deduction is for the clinic's communication issues. Communication between departments is not smooth, and patients must follow up. Also, if you have Kaiser insurance, I strongly recommend changing insurance before beginning treatment. I later switched to Aetna/Progyny and had no authorization issues after the change. My doctor was wonderful. After receiving my feedback, she checked in with me immediately and discussed my frustrations. She worked with me to rebuild trust and repair the relationship! My previous review: I should have read the Google reviews before working with them, but they were the first clinic my primary doctor referred me to. Because the U.S. healthcare system is unusual, obtaining a referral is not simple, so I decided to become a PNWF patient. It proved to be a nightmare. After the referral was received, I registered as a patient, completed many forms, and signed many waivers before I could finally schedule an appointment. I was told the earliest appointment was 3 months away. At the time, my schedule was arranged well in advance, so I booked it without much thought. The first issue happened two months later, when they simply canceled my appointment. They called to notify me and told me to call them to reschedule. Things happen, and I understood. I tried calling back for several days. No matter whether I called at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m., a voicemail always said I was calling outside office hours. Ironically, they would later call me back and ask me to call again. I work full-time and have many back-to-back meetings, so I cannot answer calls during them. After 3 or 4 rounds of this, I had to email and tell them to stop calling because I preferred email. They finally rescheduled my first appointment for a month later than the original date. After the long wait, I finally spoke with Dr. Chow. After I described all my concerns, life plans, and special circumstances, I was told they could do nothing unless we had tried to conceive for more than a year. I understand that doctors have practice guidelines. She ordered some blood tests. I had very good insurance, and based on the PDF booklet attached to their email, the prices did not seem unreasonable, so I agreed to all the testing. This later became another nightmare. When the results came back, Dr. Chow said I met the criteria for PCOS but that they would do nothing during the first year. I trusted her and began trying to conceive. I took an LH test every day to avoid missing any window. During the first few months, it felt new and interesting, but after several disappointing cycles it became extremely frustrating. After tracking three cycles, I contacted Dr. Chow's team and provided a detailed list of my records. They simply said to keep recording and let them know. I was upset because I did not understand the point of telling them when they clearly would do nothing. They effectively said I had to waste a year of my life before receiving help. What else could I do? I continued LH testing for another cycle and updated them. They finally scheduled another Zoom meeting. By this point, we had lost 6 months, excluding the three-month wait for the first appointment. The meeting went well, and Dr. Chow prescribed letrozole. She suggested trying the medication for another three months first. I had to ask her to order an HSG, and she agreed. The final straw was a $15,000 bill for genetic testing. It was initially denied by insurance, and two years later I received a $300 bill...
