In January 2026, we visited AFMC's Diamond Bar clinic and paid the full consultation fee. Initially, we were very impressed with the clinical team. The staff were professional and knowledgeable, giving us confidence in our choice. However, our experience deteriorated when dealing with financial coordinator Eli Li about insurance authorization. What should have been simple became a 3-month ordeal that ultimately forced us to seek care elsewhere. Problems included: - We sent more than 5 follow-up emails simply to learn the status of the insurance preauthorization. - Despite reception confirming Eli was in the office, repeated calls went unanswered. - For the entire 3 months, we were told the authorization was “still processing.” Insurance preauthorization does not usually take this long. After waiting patiently and providing many opportunities to resolve it, we transferred to another clinic, where authorization was handled promptly. Although the clinical team was excellent, administrative follow-up was severely lacking. Prospective parents considering AFMC should have a backup plan and prepare for possible administrative delays. Communication and follow-up are essential parts of patient care, and unfortunately this was where our experience failed. I hope the organization addresses these administrative problems so future patients/prospective parents do not face similar difficulties.

Dr. Mousa is highly skilled, uses a comprehensive medication protocol, and is very kind. We are extremely grateful to her! Medical assistant Hanah is also very professional, kind, and attentive. The front desk staff are friendly, and the nurses are professional and kind. Eli in finance explained all costs thoroughly, and there were no later hidden fees, which was excellent. At another clinic we previously visited, the fees were deliberately described vaguely, and when we later asked about male fertility consultation costs, we discovered a major discrepancy and had to stop treatment midway. Thank God we found this hospital, and thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff!!

We graduated from the fertility clinic today after becoming pregnant from one stimulation cycle and one transfer. At 9 weeks and 2 days, we were so happy to see our chubby baby on the ultrasound 😃 Dr. Mousa is exceptionally skilled, considered the medications comprehensively, and selected a very appropriate protocol. Everything was under the doctor’s control. Eli explained the costs in detail, with no hidden charges. We had previously visited a hospital where the fees were expensive and confusing, with many hidden costs, so we found this clinic instead. Medical assistant Hannah was very kind and helped translate and resolve various issues for us. The other providers were also excellent. If you want to fulfill your dream of becoming a parent, do not miss this hospital. It is truly outstanding!

I had been trying for three months to conceive my third baby without success. Because I have PCOS, becoming pregnant this time was very difficult. I then went to this fertility clinic, and Hannah helped me throughout. I completed one monitored ovulation cycle and became pregnant through intercourse at home! It worked after just one cycle. If you are struggling with infertility, I highly recommend this clinic; they are truly wonderful. I cannot wait to meet my baby and wish I had learned about this clinic sooner!

My experience has been good so far. Dr. Moussa is very kind and explained the treatment steps and results in detail. She also clearly explained how to prepare for intrauterine insemination (IUI). We will begin IUI in about a month, and I will update my experience. I hope we also achieve a successful pregnancy.

During consultations, the doctor may open the curtain at any time, leaving your private areas directly exposed to the hallway. Their academic credentials deserve recognition, but the egg-retrieval technique needs improvement.

Dr Moussa is highly knowledgeable, skilled, and experienced, and is an outstanding specialist in this field. Dr Moussa took the time to explain all my options and every step of the process. She created a personalized plan for me, continually adjusted it, and followed up to keep my journey moving in the best direction, ultimately achieving a perfect and highly successful outcome! It was Dr Moussa's compassion, professionalism, care, and dedication that helped me realize my dream. I feel fortunate to have met Dr Moussa and will always be grateful. Dr Moussa's other team members, from Cheney and Hannah at the beginning to Eli joining later, supported me attentively throughout my journey. Even outside working hours and on days off, they promptly answered every question. They were professional, attentive to detail, and communicated clearly. Their help kept my journey on track. Their dedication made me feel cared for and respected. My sincere thanks to all of you. Dr Moussa and her team have helped many people achieve their dreams, including me. July 2, 2024: This fertility center is clean and welcoming. The staff remind you when to take medication and how to administer injections. They also provide videos to make the process easier and regularly remind you about follow-up appointments. Dr. Moussa is very professional. If you do not understand English medical terms, the staff provide interpretation and explanations. I am receiving IVF here, and today is my embryo transfer. I hope the first attempt succeeds. August 20, 2024 update: It has been a month and a half since the embryo transfer, and the clinic is still closely monitoring my progress with regular blood tests and ultrasounds. Everything is going well so far, and my husband and I are very happy. Our coordinator, Hannah, is very gentle and continually encouraged me when I felt unwell. I believe a gentle manner is very important during such a difficult time. I am truly grateful that I chose AFMC. October 30, 2024 update: Tomorrow, I will be five months pregnant. I hope the rest of the pregnancy and delivery go smoothly. Thank you again to the doctor and all the staff. July 28, 2025 update: My baby was born safely on March 21. Although I went through the full labor process, I am grateful that he is healthy. He is now 4 months old, and at every doctor's visit we are told that everything is fine, from his heart and lungs to his digestive system. I am truly happy and grateful 😊
