Dr. Spirtos far exceeded my expectations. Unlike other doctors who rush through appointments, he took the time to thoroughly review my medical history and was knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. He understood my rare condition more deeply than any endocrinologist or reproductive endocrinologist I have seen in the area, listened, and welcomed my questions. His staff were also very friendly. I highly recommend this office.

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Spirtos and his staff. We appreciate his honesty and directness; I prefer an honest doctor to one who talks around the issue. From our first appointment, we felt like family. The staff know my wife struggles with blood draws, so each time they take her to a room to lie down rather than sit in a chair. They reassure her that they simply want her to be comfortable through the process. They are very willing to help promptly. My wife cried during several visits, and Dr. Spirtos was kind and understanding of her emotions. We absolutely love Sandra, Teresa, and Amanda! They hugged us during my wife’s miscarriage and celebrated with us during every ultrasound as we watched our little baby grow. Such a wonderful group of people. The office is also very welcoming, which helps you feel more comfortable.

The experience with the doctor was absolutely terrible. We spent nearly $1,000 without receiving real answers, only to be treated like his paycheck. He asked why I did not order 20 labs after I had explained that I completed the same labs last year with no problems. He tried to diagnose me based on tests I had already done that showed I was fine. When he asked why I would not purchase them, I said I could no longer afford it. He replied, “Let me do my job. You need to get over this ‘emotional financial issue.’” Sorry for trying to be responsible and avoid homelessness and starvation? Then he told me to “borrow money from friends or family.” During my exam, he was so aggressive that tears came uncontrollably. His pressure was the opposite of gentle. He said, “There is no crying in fertility.” He continued, and I had to request a break. I have never needed to do that with another OB. When he left, I broke down. I felt deeply violated and was in pain for several days. I cannot believe how much my husband and I spent without receiving real answers. He only wants money. Do not go here. The receptionists were kind and helpful; we wish we felt the same about the doctor, but we do not. Edit: Based on your response, I am disgusted by the manipulation. “Glad we privately discussed your review”—I said I stand by it and will not change it. Yes, we discussed prices; that was not my complaint. It was the amount you charged without providing real answers. Your response here proves exactly how condescendingly you treat clients. Thank you for proving my point.

After trying several clinics over the past few years, we found Dr. Spirtos online, and I am so grateful we did. I cannot say enough good things about his practice, him as a person, and especially him as a doctor. I have never trusted a doctor as completely as I trust Dr. Spirtos. He is passionate and highly knowledgeable. He genuinely cares about your journey, and his goal is your goal: helping you become a parent as affordably as possible. When we first met, he ordered many tests that had never been performed and gave us more guidance than we imagined possible. We never felt pressured to do anything that was not absolutely necessary, and we spent much less here than elsewhere. At other clinics, I felt like I was on an assembly line and merely a number. I never felt that way at this practice. They welcome you from day one and walk beside you through every step. After seeing Dr. Spirtos, our first pregnancy was suspected to be ectopic, and I was eventually hospitalized. He contacted us daily, both to learn what the hospital doctors were doing and to check on me. He is truly one of a kind. I cannot praise him enough. His office staff are wonderful and as invested in your journey as you are. Every time we entered, we were welcomed with smiles and asked how the current stage was going. They treat you like family. After difficult appointments, I knew I could expect a hug from the women working there. They make you feel seen and show that your feelings matter. When I did not know whether this would ever happen for us, Dr. Spirtos assured me he was confident he could help us reach our goal. We are now 20 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby, and I thank Dr. Spirtos for that. I could continue explaining why I recommend this practice to every woman struggling on the path to motherhood. Trust was established on day one and never disappeared. I have complete respect for this man and am deeply grateful that this practice helped my husband and me reach where we are today. My husband and I struggled for years to have a child. I saw Dr. Spirtos, who performed testing and prescribed a thyroid pill. Four months later, I became pregnant with my now healthy 3-week-old baby girl. I cannot thank him and his office team enough.
