I graduated from my egg-freezing treatment today 😍🫶🏻 From the consultant who initially explained the egg-freezing process and taught me how to inject myself to the nurses I met in the operating room today, everyone was very professional and kind. At every follow-up, Dr. Lee Chun-yi encouraged me by saying, 'You have worked hard! Keep going!' This gave me the courage to face the side effects of the injections. Although I do not know the individual names of the operating-room nurses, I thank the medical team for caring for me so attentively and gently that I was not afraid at all. Even after I returned home, they called and messaged to ask how I was doing 🫶🏻 I am deeply grateful. Choosing Lee Women's Hospital was the best decision ❤️ Besides being a birthday gift to myself, the greatest thing I received there was genuine human warmth 🫶🏻

2024.07.29 Professional, comprehensive service with clear instructions on what to do.

Good service.

Terrible hospital. They killed someone's child and still dare to remain open and take people's money.
31/07/2024
The doctors were professional and there was no issue with them, but the nurse I encountered was outrageous... The first time I ever had to take an ambulance was on the day my child was born. There is so much I want to say, but now that my child is stable, I do not want to pursue it further. In any case, I will not deliver there again.

About 8 years ago, I had a uterine fibroid removed laparoscopically at Lee Women's Hospital. Because of my constitution, another large fibroid developed 😥 This time, I again chose Lee Women's Hospital and saw Dr. Lin Yu-hsiang. In addition to Dr. Lin being highly professional, the entire nursing team's kindness and professionalism were also 100 out of 100. Laparoscopy required a drainage tube to remain in my body, and I am very afraid of pain. On the morning of discharge, the physician assistant removed the tube, and the entire process was exceptionally professional 👍 Besides being quick, decisive, and precise, she deliberately chatted with me about all kinds of things to ease my nervousness and fear. I am truly grateful to her. I forgot to look at her name badge, so I do not know the physician assistant's name. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the medical staff at Lee Women's Hospital for taking such good care of me 😍

I was referred to Lee Women's Hospital because of endometrial hyperplasia. At my first examination here, they found bleeding from a polyp, so Dr. Lin arranged treatment immediately! Dr. Lin Yu-Hsiang explained my condition carefully and thoroughly. The hysteroscopic polypectomy was performed very professionally, and I had almost no discomfort afterward. It was wonderful 🥹 Thank you, Dr. Lin and the nursing staff ❤️

Thank you to Dr. Lin Ping-Yao and the pregnancy care team for helping me through this period. They supported me through the panic of bleeding and forgetting medication. I began treatment in December, and I am now 20 weeks after the transfer! Success with one embryo! The baby is healthy. I graduated yesterday! The mischievous baby curled up and would not change position even after the ultrasound technician scanned for a long time!

I was unsure which department to visit for my condition. Because I had lower-back pain and vaginal discharge, I first booked urogynecology. When I checked in, the nurse's first question was, “How many children have you had?” I said that I was unmarried, and she replied that I therefore probably had never had sex. This made me extremely uncomfortable. I thought I would be able to ask the doctor more questions about my condition to determine whether any tests were needed. Instead, after waiting over an hour, I was called into the consultation room. Before I could even sit down, the doctor abruptly said, “This is a vaginal issue. I don't treat that. You need to see an OB-GYN.” I asked why I had been made to wait more than an hour before being told this. The doctor actually replied, “Let's not discuss that,” and had the nurse escort me out. The doctor began consultations an hour later than the time posted by the hospital, then made this judgment based solely on a small note written by the nurse. It is very difficult to believe that even if I had booked the correct department, he would have taken my condition seriously.

All the services were excellent. The doctor's explanations were also very clear 👍
05/08/2024
My first IVF treatment at Lee Women's Hospital went very smoothly, and I became pregnant successfully. Dr. Ping-Yao was attentive and highly professional. I am very grateful that she helped me become a mother! However, today, after receiving my maternal health handbook, I happily expected to collect a pregnancy pillow, only for the nurse to say they were available only through July. I was immediately a little disappointed. I feel that a hospital as large as Lee Women's Hospital should be more considerate of pregnant women who have worked so hard. Even if no pregnancy pillow is available, another item could be offered as a gesture. A small gift can make an expectant mother happy, especially since this month is also Father's Day. I sincerely suggest that the hospital show more consideration for expectant mothers who have come so far through a difficult journey!

The technology and processes for infertility treatment are excellent and clearly explained, but the outpatient queue order is baffling and the system is impossible to understand. I recommend avoiding the most famous doctors, or you will wait forever.

20/08/2024
Excellent doctors and convenient appointments.
20/08/2024
The doctors are professional, but you must proactively ask about your symptoms. You need to do extensive research before the appointment; otherwise, you may not understand and will simply be sent out of the consultation room. There are many nurses, and a different person calls your number each time, so you sometimes have to repeat your situation. My main dissatisfaction was that after waiting until the lunch break, with many tests and consultations still to complete, I could clearly hear the consultant speaking faster. When I did not understand and tried to ask, she gave me a sidelong look and said, "What don't you understand?" I know lunchtime is their break, but we did not choose to be there during our own mealtime either. Egg freezing is not a minor issue like a scraped knee. Everyone was waiting on an empty stomach, and the consultant's expression left me speechless.
20/08/2024
The doctors, nurses, and service staff are all very professional and kind. We succeeded on our first attempt! We are incredibly grateful to you all!

Because my admission was scheduled for the middle of the month and my baby was already full term at 39+5, my attending physician and I arranged an induction. At the examination, the baby weighed about 2,999 grams and the head measurement was around 8.7. The doctor scheduled the induction for a Saturday. I was admitted for induction, excited to meet my baby. Before induction, an epidural was needed. I informed them that I had scoliosis and was worried it might be difficult to administer. The anesthesiologist said there would be a test dose and told me not to worry. During the test, I felt coolness in my back and some pain relief. The epidural at Lee Women's Hospital costs 9,000-13,000, after which the price is unlimited. At 16:19 on Sunday, I received another dose and had already reached the limit. At 18:09, a nurse came in and said the doctor wanted to insert induction medication. I was 2 cm dilated. After inserting it, the nurse gave me another dose of pain relief; the previous dose had been at 16:19. I later found that a dose did not last the 2 hours the nurses had initially described, although everyone experiences pain differently. The nurses had explained this before, and I thought it was reasonable. They said not to endure severe discomfort because the purpose of the epidural was to reduce the mother's discomfort. Because I am very sensitive to pain, I asked whether they could administer more anesthetic and wait 15-20 minutes before any vaginal examination or other procedure. They all agreed and said they would pass this on. My subsequent doses were at approximately 18:10 and 19:50, although I vomited slightly. A nurse was present and briefly assisted my husband. Further doses were at 21:14 and 22:05. I tried to endure the pain as long as possible because I was afraid that vomiting again would inconvenience them. At 23:16, a nurse came in and said she needed to perform a vaginal examination and insert a urinary catheter. I said the pain relief had worn off because I could already get out of bed and walk independently, which for me usually meant the anesthetic effect had diminished considerably. The nurse said the epidural usually remained effective for 3-4 hours and insisted on performing the examination—she said I was 3 cm dilated—and catheterization. I expressed significant discomfort during both procedures, but the nurse repeatedly told me to relax or she would be unable to locate the opening for the catheter. Only after completing both did she give me more pain medication. I was upset and in pain, and told my husband that although the catheterization was finished, it still felt as though the tube remained inside me. Not long after she left, at around 23:25, I heard a loud pop and my water broke. I quickly asked my husband to call the nursing station. She said she would come immediately, and I was then told not to get out of bed. My next dose was at 00:14 on Monday. By the time my water broke, I felt afraid of and distrustful toward the nursing staff because this was not what we had agreed. Various issues followed after my water broke. My baby tried very hard to come out but kept pressing on other nerves. From that point until the cesarean section, none of the pain relief worked. The nurses said they had tried every pain medication in rotation, but nothing could suppress the pain. After a vaginal examination at 2:12 a.m. on Monday showed 5 cm dilation, my labor did not progress further. On Monday afternoon, I was told that a cesarean section was the only option, and I broke down. What made me even sadder was that after the cesarean, the doctor told my husband that the baby's pointed head showed how hard he had tried to come out and that it would return to normal after a while. On the night after the cesarean, I regretted not insisting more strongly on receiving pain relief before the vaginal examination and catheterization prior to my water breaking. I had never been catheterized and did not know it would be so uncomfortable. I know these two events were not actually related to my child's later cesarean delivery, but as his mother, I wondered whether things might have been different if I had insisted. Perhaps he would not have kept moving around inside while they struggled to find the opening. What I want to say is that while your baby is still inside you, mothers should be firm when necessary and not simply believe staff who say the medication will work for 3-4 hours. Your body and sensations are your own. Apart from this issue, my previous prenatal examinations and the other nursing staff were commendable. It is 4:04 a.m. on Tuesday, and I still cannot sleep. This is why I truly cannot give 5 stars. I remember everything so clearly because I originally asked my husband to record each detail so I could write a post thanking them. I never expected to use those notes this way, which makes me very sad.

I traveled from Australia to this hospital. My experience was very unhappy and disappointing. Ultrasound monitoring was not timely or accurate, and blood-test results were not available the same day; I received them two days later. IVF blood-test results should be available immediately because timing is critical for retrieval. I believe my best eggs were lost before retrieval day, leaving only poorer-quality eggs for my age because of the delay. This is particularly disadvantageous for older women. The hospital did not consider the patient's needs. The process of transferring sperm from Taipei was terrible and severely damaged my trust. My husband's sperm could not be accepted into hospital storage because staff would not wait even 1 extra hour after their Saturday timing error. In Australia, my doctor can arrange transfers on Sundays or public holidays in special circumstances. The hospital did not tell me about its holidays in advance, causing the sperm not to be transferred on time on a working day. Storage management was poor. The international service was very disappointing. I argued about this in front of Dr. Lee Mao-Sheng, who tried to manage the situation better, but the storage manager and staff did not seem to listen to him. Taichung is very far from Australia, yet basic care was neglected. This seriously damaged my trust, especially as an overseas patient. The woman on the international team was very rude and made many excuses for their negligence, blaming me for coming from Australia and not knowing their work schedule.

Lee Women's Hospital is profit-driven. My wife was 30 when she went there for a fertility consultation. They described her condition in the worst possible way and steered her toward ovulation-trigger injections, after which her menstrual cycle was irregular for quite some time. They later pushed IVF, but because it was so expensive, we consulted another hospital. Each follow-up at Lee Women's Hospital cost thousands or even tens of thousands, payable only in cash. Why are they afraid to let customers use credit cards? At the other hospital, we were told my wife's age and health were normal and that natural conception was appropriate; ovulation-trigger injections and IVF were not yet necessary. We researched the side effects of the injections and IVF online, and Lee Women's Hospital had not clearly disclosed them. Prospective parents should think carefully!
16/09/2024
I strongly advise against this place! Mothers seriously trying to conceive should not consider it first. I was 30 and shortly after arriving began ovulation-trigger and stimulation treatment. Every visit meant injections, medication, and charges of several thousand. After two attempts, my periods became irregular and unpredictable, as did natural ovulation. When I returned, the doctor simply said to prepare for IUI next, showing no concern for my body and just following the hospital's SOP. After noticing these changes, I stopped treatment at Lee Women's Hospital and went elsewhere. Other doctors said my ovaries and eggs were completely normal and I had no need for IUI, especially at only 30. I later researched the side effects of ovulation medication, which may overstimulate the ovaries, reduce the chance of natural conception, and increase cancer risk. The thought made my scalp tingle; I could not believe I had trusted the diagnosis. I think the doctor who put me on medication from the start was unethical. Were we merely profit-making tools rather than patients? Every visit cost several thousand, while another hospital offered a simple consultation and said I was healthy and did not need medication. The contrast was obvious. All I can say is, “What a rip-off!!!!!” I sincerely do not recommend unethical doctors. Parents seriously trying to conceive should not let their dedication be exploited and end in lifelong regret.

Initial consultation in June, egg retrieval in July, transfer in August, and maternity handbook in September. Because PCOS made conception difficult, at age 30 I decided to proceed directly to IVF for a higher success rate and access to subsidies. The hospital provided the documents needed for central and local subsidy applications, and the funds have now arrived. I am grateful to Dr. Li Jun-Yi and the medical team. The ultrasound technologists were professional, clinic nurses efficient, consultation staff patient, and second-floor technologists skilled and kind. (If your veins are deep and difficult like mine, exercising first can help.) The doctor is well known but very approachable and always asks how we have been. Each follow-up requires some waiting, but the process is clear and the environment and restrooms are comfortable. The hospital is far from home; otherwise I would have liked to deliver at Lee Women's Hospital and book the postpartum center upstairs too! I hope all future prenatal checks go smoothly, and I recommend Lee Women's Hospital to prospective parents considering IVF 👍

I had acute bleeding at five weeks pregnant. During an earlier episode, I was placed last in the registration queue and was not seen, but fortunately the baby was fine. I heard the hospital has since corrected its procedures. I only hope my child remains safe and healthy, and I encourage all the nursing staff. I hope bleeding and more serious cases receive greater priority next time to prevent anyone from experiencing regret.

Every doctor, nurse, and consultant was very kind. ----- Update 114.2.1 I safely delivered my Year of the Dragon baby before the Lunar New Year. Thank you again to the director, all the medical staff at Lee Women's Hospital, and the care coordinator. My prenatal examinations went smoothly, and the medical staff offered advice. His technique is very gentle, making examinations, egg retrieval, and embryo transfer easy and comfortable, with no pain afterward. The nurses are all very kind, and a dedicated care coordinator is available to answer and address any questions immediately, making you feel reassured even at home. It is excellent. I highly recommend Lee Women's Hospital. They have a highly professional and dedicated medical team who will help fulfill your wishes.

A friend referred me, and I ultimately chose Dr. Lin Bing-Yao. During six months of treatment, Dr. Bing-Yao made me feel safe and reassured at every stage. Although only one blastocyst was successful, we were fortunate that the first transfer worked! The Lee Women's Hospital fertility care coordinator was also very attentive and available for any questions, helping expectant mothers feel reassured. They continued following me until 15 weeks after the transfer before I officially graduated. I am truly grateful 🥹
12/02/2025
Terrible. I do not even want to give one star. From the moment you enter, it is money, money, money—constant payments. Every process is complicated and requires another registered appointment. A Taipei clinic can handle in one visit what you insist on spreading over three registrations, each with a long wait. Even requesting a refund for an examination requires booking an outpatient visit?! To get my refund, I must register again. What kind of terrible policy is this? Is it just to collect another registration fee? They actually said they need the doctor's approval. Ridiculous. The doctor should be responsible for examinations and treatment. Why should a refund also require the doctor's approval? The examination fee is only a little over 1,000. They treat every pregnant patient like an ATM and make refunds so difficult because they do not want to let any money go. Such a famous hospital does not even have a dedicated refund counter! Ridiculous! Simply put: they take money quickly, but refunds are extremely difficult.
11/02/2025
Thank you to the professional Lee Women's Hospital team and Dr. Yu for accompanying me throughout the journey and giving me so much encouragement. Dr. Yu was professional and warm, caring about my concerns and discomfort at every stage and offering positive, professional guidance! After five years of trying to conceive and five miscarriages, I went from doctor to doctor until I met Dr. Bingyao. One comment from you opened my eyes. Because of the distance, you also recommended an immunology doctor, prompting me to investigate immune factors seriously again. I eventually discovered an NK-cell issue. Thank you, Dr. Bingyao, for helping my first transfer succeed.

This was my first visit to Lee Women's Hospital. The environment is very comfortable, and the nursing and injection-room staff are kind. I recently had gynecologic surgery at Lee Women's Hospital. I am very grateful to Dr. Lin Yu-Hsiang for being so thorough and professional, which reassured me as someone who had never had surgery before. I suggest editing the videos in the semen collection room. About the first 20 minutes are not useful. Unimportant foreplay and interview scenes could be removed so the videos go directly to the main content. This would make the semen collection room more efficient and reduce collection and waiting times!

Thank you to Dr. Bing-Yao for the precise assessment and excellent medical care~ I graduated from the infertility clinic yesterday! Thank you also to the embryology laboratory for its expertise, the transfer room nurse for helping ease my anxiety on transfer day, and the consultation staff for carefully explaining medication before egg retrieval. Thank you for the confidence and good wishes on transfer and pregnancy-test days!

I received the best care at this hospital, where I was admitted and underwent surgery. My doctor, Dr. Liao Wen-Liang, was patient and attentive to patients' health. Head nurse Kelly in room 316 on the third floor cared for me exceptionally well. I hope everyone can experience such wonderful treatment; my experience at Lee Women's Hospital was excellent.
05/08/2025
At every visit, the nurses, consultants, and doctors are patient and considerate. Thank you for all your hard work! Today is my embryo-transfer day. I am nervous and excited and do not know whether it will succeed on the first attempt, but with professional guidance I have reached this day step by step. Thank you to everyone at Lee Women's Hospital 🏥, especially Dr. Lee Chun-Yi for his patient explanations over so long.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Starting an IVF journey naturally brought anxiety and nervousness, but Dr. Bingyao always listened patiently and explained everything carefully, making me feel understood and supported. Dr. Bingyao was not only medically professional and attentive but also provided great emotional reassurance and companionship. Each follow-up felt like more than an examination; it felt encouraging and gently supportive. I am truly grateful to Dr. Bingyao for her care throughout this difficult journey, turning it from pure stress into one filled with hope and strength. Thank you for your professional expertise and emotional support; it meant so much to me. I sincerely recommend her to prospective parents seeking trust and peace of mind. 💖

I had already completed the testing, but they would not give me the report. When I asked for it, they said I had to book another outpatient appointment. At the second appointment, they still did not explain the report and only mentioned uterine fibroids. I paid but still could not see the report. I do not know what to say.

Good service.

The hospital's overall service is good, but on Saturday, 8/30, the payment machine on B3 could not read the QR code, so I had to pay on B2 and return to B3 for my car. The indicator lights in the underground parking garage also often do not work and are unreliable, sometimes causing cars traveling up and down to become stuck on the ramp. There are also signs showing remaining spaces by floor, but I have never seen them display how many spaces are available on each floor. Why not show this information?

I delivered all three of my children at Lee Women's Hospital. The environment and equipment are truly advanced. I felt very reassured giving birth here. 🥰
10/09/2025
I booked one of the first 3 appointment numbers well in advance and was told to arrive at 8:30. I arrived on time but still waited an hour. The process is clearly flawed. After checking in, I waited at least 20 minutes before being told to get an ultrasound. After inserting my card, waiting in line, and completing the scan, I had to continue waiting. By 9:45, I still had not been seen. At least 5 or 6 people ahead of me had already been seen.

Dr. Lin Bing-Yao may be highly skilled in his field and attract many patients, but his words and behavior toward patients can be deeply hurtful. We visited on 9/17. My wife was busy and needed time to meet me at Lee Women's Hospital, so I registered first. Although she arrived a little late, the nurses and consultant were very kind, and we felt comfortable during the consultation. Dr. Lin was very busy that day and had to perform an embryo transfer between appointments. Our number was near the end, so although we had a morning appointment, we waited until around 14:00. We assumed so many people were willing to wait because Dr. Lin must be worth it. Later, a nurse called a name. The numbers were being called out of order because some patients had missed their turn, and it was somewhat confusing. Since the name was very similar to ours, we thought it was our turn and went in. The doctor first asked some questions. We realized something was wrong and proactively said that he might have the wrong patient. Dr. Lin looked displeased with the nurse. We thought we would need to leave and switch places, but he continued our consultation. His tone then became increasingly sharp. My wife and I have been married for 10 years. We conceived naturally and have a healthy 8-year-old son born by vaginal delivery. We have always wanted a second child and came to investigate why we had been unable to conceive again. We had told the consultant that my wife has a sensitive constitution and cannot overexert herself during pregnancy. During those 10 years, besides our eldest child, she had 3 miscarriages. Dr. Lin repeatedly emphasized that my wife had a problem, was abnormal, and then questioned whether our older son was a normal child. Since returning home yesterday, my wife has felt that the miscarriages were her fault and that something was wrong with her, leaving her sad and angry. We came to ask the doctor to identify the problem and find a solution, but we did not want to be treated as the problem ourselves. Does being unable to conceive a second child, or having infertility, make someone a person with a problem? He repeatedly said, "You have a problem," "Your problem is serious," and "You are abnormal," then questioned whether our child also had a problem or was normal. Dr. Lin, you are also a woman. How could you say these things without thinking about how they might hurt someone? Every obstetrician-gynecologist we previously met told us it was not the mother's fault and that the embryos had been naturally selected out. After my wife and I struggled with this during the appointment, we decided not to proceed with further testing. I only want to tell the hospital that a doctor may be highly skilled, but if the doctor cannot empathize with patients, how are they different from a money-making tool? PS: To the nurse at the semen analysis window who received the semen sample: I know you dislike touching semen samples, but this is your profession. You were wearing two pairs of gloves, and I do not have any disease. I was also afraid of touching you, but your behavior made me feel that you lacked empathy and made the situation feel shameful. If you are afraid, I suggest setting up an unattended drop-off area to avoid contact with patients, or wearing protective clothing, rather than directing your emotions at the person being tested. My test was in August, month 8, not yesterday. Thank you to both the polite and impolite staff at your hospital.

The doctor explained everything carefully, and the nursing staff were very kind, helping treatment proceed more smoothly.

The service staff were kind, and Dr. Lin Bingyao was very professional.

Dr. Chen Yanyu just delivered my second child by cesarean section. The incision he made is small and looks excellent!! The medical staff at Lee Women's Hospital were all very kind and made me feel at ease from prenatal checkups through delivery, so I was not nervous before giving birth. Lee Women's Hospital offers a pregnancy concierge service that reminds you of every follow-up appointment and precaution and checks on the mother's condition. This service was not available during my first pregnancy but was during my second. It was very thoughtful and reassuring.

After trying to conceive for a year without success, I did some research and decided to see Dr. Lin Bingyao. As soon as my husband and I entered Lee Women's Hospital, the medical and reception staff carefully introduced every facility and the consultation process, so we always knew what to do and where to go next. This continued through my uterine polyp removal surgery. Every staff member made a very good impression on me. Dr. Lin also patiently explained everything and answered my questions. Every mother and father who comes here hopes to have a child of their own. When the medical staff and doctors are patient, it truly provides parents with some comfort. If we receive good news in the future, we will choose Lee Women's Hospital again. I finally graduated from Lee Women's Hospital on August 20, 2025. I conceived naturally and had a cesarean section. Thank you, Dr. Liao Jingci. Everyone who saw the cesarean incision said it looked excellent. Dr. Liao did not say much during prenatal visits, but his professionalism speaks for itself. Several of my colleagues also had Dr. Liao provide their prenatal care and deliver their babies. I am very grateful for the nurses' attentive care during my cesarean hospital stay. However, one aspect could have been better. My child has microtia and needed examinations after birth, and Lee Women's Hospital may partner with Chung Shan Medical University Hospital. Because I had a cesarean section, the baby had already been sent there by the time I left recovery. Although my husband consented, I had known before delivery from the detailed ultrasound that the baby would need examinations after birth, but I did not expect them to happen immediately. Before delivery, a health educator gave me a form where I could select the examinations to be performed by Lee Women's Hospital. I selected the 21 examinations covered by National Health Insurance. I already had a doctor in mind for the microtia and did not expect the baby to be sent to Chung Shan Medical University Hospital. When I asked my husband why, he could only say the baby needed an examination. I had no idea what examinations were being performed. Honestly, my husband was panicked and said he truly did not know why the baby had to be sent there. I feel that knowing before delivery which hospital you partner with would reassure patients and give families the right to choose which hospital they prefer, improving the experience. After all, everyone has hospitals and doctors they trust, just as I chose Lee Women's Hospital and Dr. Liao.

The explanation of the treatment was very clear.

Special thanks to Dr. Lee Chun-Yi, the personal care coordinators, and every service representative we met, including those in the VIP lounge and telephone customer service. Many thanks to Director Lee Mao-Sheng and the entire medical team! They are very professional and explain everything carefully. The medical equipment is excellent 👍
05/11/2025
Dr. Lin Bing-Yao is professional, gentle, and attentive. He often helps me relax as soon as I enter the consultation room, easing my initial anxiety and making me feel reassured. The entire medical team and consultation staff are also patient and considerate. Despite the high patient volume, they never seem impatient. The hospital’s cleanliness is also important. The restrooms are very clean, which matters because examinations often require frequent restroom use, so there is little concern about hygiene.
27/11/2025
Director Chen Yen-Yu and all the nurses are wonderful. Highly recommended.

17/12/2025
I recommend Dr. Lin Hsiang-Chen. He is professional and attentive. He always explains both the best-case and most serious possibilities to the patient and family. This allows the patient and family to prepare themselves, then discuss the options together. He is a doctor with excellent medical ethics. 👍

1. I had a C-section at Lee Women's Hospital on 12/11. Looking back on my prenatal care, which began at 13w on 6/30, through my discharge after the C-section, I am deeply grateful to Dr. Liao Ching-Tzu, the assistants, many nurses, educators, and the specialists who performed the detailed fetal and cardiac ultrasounds. 2. Because of legal restrictions, we underwent IVF overseas and chose Lee Women's Hospital after returning because it was more accepting of this situation, even though every prenatal visit required a round trip of more than two hours by car. 3. After reading many online accounts of C-section recovery, I worried that I would be unable to get out of bed the following day. However, because of the hospital's anesthesia and pain-control arrangements—and perhaps because I am not very sensitive to pain—my concerns were unnecessary, and I was soon walking briskly. 4. ***The C-section scar*** At discharge, the doctor's assistant changed my dressing and took a photo of the scar. I had gained so much weight during pregnancy that I could not see it, and I thought that at least I would not have to worry about a frightening scar I could not see. But the incision was just a smooth, beautiful line! Thank you, Dr. Liao and all the nursing staff, for your care!!

This year I finally officially graduated from Lee Women's Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Chen Yen-Yu for providing so much emotional support during prenatal care. Even when minor issues arose during pregnancy, Dr. Chen handled them well, answered every question, and made me feel reassured. Dr. Chen's C-section suturing technique is remarkable. Seeing the incision heal so beautifully gave me great peace of mind. I am also very grateful to the medical staff on the third and fifth floors, whose patience and professionalism were evident from labor through delivery. The anesthesiologist was enthusiastic and professional. 👍🏻 I highly recommend adding postoperative pain control—it is essential. The dedicated Warm Heart pregnancy coordinator also helped me feel calm throughout pregnancy. Whenever I had a question or concern during working hours, the coordinator replied immediately and routinely checked on me before prenatal appointments. This made appointment days much smoother. Thank you to all the medical staff at Lee Women's Hospital for helping our little baby arrive safely. ❤️

The postpartum abdominal herbal soup helped me feel that my body recovered quickly. Thank you very much to Lee Women's Hospital and Dr. Chen Yen-Yu for taking care of me over the past few days. Thank you to Dr. Chen for his gentle, attentive care, which kept me comfortable from prenatal visits through delivery and postpartum examinations. I also thank my thoughtful pregnancy coordinator, who always answered my questions promptly and reminded me the day before each follow-up visit, explaining what would happen so I felt very reassured. I am very happy to have graduated successfully from Lee Women's Hospital. Thank you for your hard work, Dr. Chen and my coordinator. 🥰

Dr. Lin Yu-Hsiang delivered both of my children. He was extremely patient during prenatal visits, and the nurses were also very kind. Highly recommended ❤️

This week we graduated from Dr. Yu Lin-Ping-Yao’s care. During visits, my wife sometimes asked unusual questions, and the doctor answered them with a very logical, technical approach, which was excellent. Previously, when we had an appointment with Dr. Chang Chi-Chen, a nurse asked my wife to insert medication after check-in, wait 15 minutes, and then wait to be called. We waited until Dr. Chang had finished work and walked out of the exam room. The doctor then realized the nurse had forgotten to call us and hurriedly asked the nurse to return to find the chart. We had to wait until 1:30 p.m. to be seen again. On another occasion, the hospital asked us to check in at 8:00. We arrived early at 7:40 to avoid being late, only to discover that the desk did not open until 8:30, so we waited quite a while. Both doctors were very good, but the hospital’s processes and attention to detail could be improved.
31/12/2025
At age 46, after visiting many fertility centers of all sizes, I finally graduated from Lee Women’s Hospital under Dr. Ping-Yao’s care! I had nearly given up, but Dr. Ping-Yao restored my confidence. Following her guidance gave me the strongest and warmest support. I will always remember my gratitude. I wish every colleague at Lee Women’s Hospital good health. Thank you, Dr. Ping-Yao 🥰
30/12/2025
The chairs are unbelievably uncomfortable. Every visit takes several hours, and the chairs are extremely patient-unfriendly! They make me want to give up treatment every time.
30/12/2025
The professionalism of Dr. Lee Chun-Yi and Dr. Chen Yen-Yu is already widely recognized. This year, pediatrics welcomed a new doctor, Dr. Wang Chin-An. Our child has seen him. He conducts careful examinations, listens patiently as parents describe symptoms, and does not prescribe excessive or overly strong medication. In the evening, we attended a developmental screening, and our child interacted well with the doctor throughout. We are very grateful.
27/01/2026
The VIP room is very upscale and felt completely different from the transfer room I had imagined. It felt like entering a hotel, and my nervousness disappeared instantly. Excellent!!!
26/01/2026
The environment, parking, and everything else are very good. The only drawback is that they accept cash only, not credit cards.
24/01/2026
My first baby was born at Lee Women's Hospital, and so was my second. Dr. Liao Ching-Tzu was my attending physician both times. I highly recommend Dr. Liao; her evaluations and clinical skill throughout my prenatal care were excellent 🫡 Every labor and delivery nurse was very thoughtful ❤️ Special thanks to nurse Lin on the evening shift on 1/20 (I was too exhausted to notice her full name 😵‍💫). She stayed with me through delivery, was extremely attentive, and cared deeply about how I felt.
24/01/2026
After an unsuccessful IVF cycle elsewhere, a friend's recommendation and online research led us to Lee Women's Hospital. I felt more comfortable with and preferred a female doctor, so I chose Dr. Lin Ping-Yao. The first cycle failed because of an immune issue. During the second cycle, Dr. Lin said something that moved me deeply: “I promise you will have a child in Taiwan.” My dream truly came true, and my baby remains healthy. After discussing it with me, Dr. Lin said I could graduate and return to Chiayi for prenatal care because it was closer to home and repeated trips to Taichung would be too far and tiring. Dr. Lin is genuinely caring, attentive, and dedicated. After giving birth, I will definitely visit her again if I have the chance. If someone you know needs IVF, or if you are reading this review, I recommend going directly to Lee Women's Hospital. You will succeed. The hospital's care coordinator is also very caring, reminds you of appointment times and related matters, and responds quickly to questions. The clinic nurses and ultrasound technicians are all professional, and the entire team made me feel safe. Thank you to Dr. Lin and everyone for helping me graduate successfully 😍😍😍

I graduated from Dr. Yu Tzu-Ning's care today. Thank you to Dr. Yu for her expertise and to the entire Lee Women's Hospital team. Every word of encouragement and every moment of support during treatment kept me going. I began knowing little about IVF and have finally become a mother 🥹 I hope many more future mothers see their wishes come true.

The medical staff treated patients with great patience. The overall experience was very good and professional. The only drawbacks were occasional long waits and the inconvenience of cash-only payment.

Today, 2026/3/26, was truly one of the most important days of my life: pregnancy test day after IVF embryo transfer ✓. Thank you, Lee Women's Hospital. From my embryo transfer on 3/14 to the pregnancy test on 3/26, it was an extraordinary journey. I followed every daily treatment and supplement exactly as prescribed. I also made major improvements to my diet and routine and will continue them. Whenever I went to the bathroom or noticed anything unusual, such as discharge, I had to take several deep breaths. I was tense, anxious, and imagining all sorts of outcomes. It was genuinely difficult, and I was afraid every time I used the bathroom. But I am truly, truly grateful that Dr. You Zi-Ning was the doctor meant for me. Through every issue, she calmly and gently told me, “This is all normal 🌻.” She patiently answered every question and is a professional, kind doctor with an exceptionally steady demeanor. Why emphasize that Dr. You is emotionally steady? For every prospective parent who comes to Lee Women's Hospital, each disappointment or success is emotionally exhausting, like riding a roller coaster—and I am someone who is afraid of roller coasters. Imagine entering the consultation room: most people first study the doctor's expression and, within seconds, invent an entire drama in their minds while guessing the result. Dr. You never shows a patient's result on her face. Good or bad, she remains calm and composed. That is so important. If a doctor immediately looks happier than we do and congratulates us, we may begin anticipating that reaction at every visit, making future uncertainty even harder. Dr. You simply focuses on the data, what needs attention, and what the result is. So today, as usual, Dr. You calmly asked whether I had taken a pregnancy test at home. I am too afraid to face the result, so of course I had not frightened myself by testing. Then Dr. You said, “Let's look at the report,” gestured to the numbers, and added, “Congratulations, you're pregnant!” After holding in so much tension, I immediately burst into tears. After preparing for so long, this was incredible news. I finally felt relieved, as if a weight had been lifted, and I could not stop crying. In the consultation room, Ms. Lin Chia-Yi was very professional. She reminded us what to watch for and shared information about follow-up care at Lee Women's Hospital's obstetrics and gynecology department. We will certainly continue there. Having coordinated care at Lee Women's Hospital feels most reassuring. I must add that throughout our time at Lee Women's Hospital, every consultation has been professional. Nothing was ever unclear or difficult to understand. I am impressed by how well trained everyone is; it makes prospective parents feel reassured and cared for. I will continue all prescribed treatments and supplements and maintain my healthy diet and routine. Once again, thank you to Lee Women's Hospital for its help.

I feel very reassured every time I see Dr. You Zi-Ning. She speaks gently, listens carefully to our questions, and responds thoughtfully. The attentive care coordinator reminds us of upcoming follow-up appointments, and when unexpected questions arise, we can ask through LINE and receive careful replies and follow-up. I felt safe and reassured throughout this period of outpatient care. Thank you all.
20/04/2026
The staff are very attentive. Deputy Director Chen is kind and highly professional.
19/04/2026
I arrived at 11 on Sunday, but no one was there. Facebook did not announce that there were no Sunday appointments. If you are closed, do not say you are open and make people waste a trip.
19/04/2026
Lee Women's Hospital provides excellent service. I accidentally vomited in the third-floor hallway today, and a nurse immediately brought a bag, wet wipes, warm water to rinse my mouth, and a chair. The first-floor service desk also registered me for an appointment immediately. The service was so good that I decided to deliver at Lee Women's Hospital.
18/04/2026
Thank you to breast surgeon Dr. Lin Hsiang-Chen for the professional explanation and to Ms. Yi-Hui in radiology for patiently explaining the examination steps. A very positive medical experience 😊
18/04/2026
Special thanks to Dr. You Tzu-Ning for her professional, gentle, and attentive care. Her reassuring manner always eased my anxiety when I entered the examination room. The entire medical team was also professional and kind. I sincerely appreciate your expert assistance.
09/05/2026
The overall focus seems to be infertility care. For other specialties, I recommend visiting a dedicated clinic. On my first visit for a gynecologic issue, I was sent to a health consultation room, but the staff member was arranging a meal with a friend and told me to sit and wait until she finished. The door was also left open, so there was no privacy. Dr. Chen's consultation room had three nursing staff, and during the conversation, all three and the doctor displayed facial reactions that felt unprofessional. A general obstetrics and gynecology clinic would be better.
09/05/2026
The nursing staff are very caring. Dr. Chen Yanyu is gentle and highly skilled 👍🏻
09/05/2026
The doctors and nurses at Lee Women's Hospital helped with both of my babies. Thank you very much!
09/05/2026
After my egg retrieval, my abdomen was extremely bloated and I began struggling to breathe. It was clearly ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Following their instructions, I immediately went to their emergency department. Dr. Liao Wen-liang gave me only pain medication and stomach medicine, then sent me home. When I got home, I was still struggling badly to breathe.
08/05/2026
Nice environment.

Graduation day is finally here I married later in life and had children later in life I met Dr. You Zi-Ning Her attentiveness and warmth Made me feel at ease during treatment We welcomed our first child two years ago And are expecting twins this year 😁 Our home has become so lively Lee Women’s Hospital provides a dedicated care coordinator Who always reminds us of important points A thoughtful helper for everyone Thank you to the Lee Women’s Hospital team The doctors, care coordinators, nurses, ultrasound technicians, consultants, and everyone else… Because of you, my treatment journey was easy and comfortable 💕

I visited the hospital because of urinary discomfort. Since I could not schedule with a female physician, I booked with the male physician Dr. Hsieh X-Hung instead. I initially trusted Lee Women’s Hospital because it is a large obstetrics and gynecology hospital. Soon after the consultation began, the doctor performed a pelvic examination. Afterward, he directly told me I had “uterine prolapse” and would need ongoing follow-up treatment. I was extremely nervous and frightened, so I later sought another examination at the obstetrics and gynecology department of a major hospital. That doctor clearly stated that I did not have uterine prolapse. I am under 30, have never given birth, and all examination results were normal, so there was no need for excessive concern. I am sharing my personal experience for other women’s reference. If you have concerns about a diagnosis, consider seeking a second physician’s assessment for reassurance.

I am very grateful to the professional medical team at Lee Women’s Hospital for helping me have a smooth and dignified delivery 💖 In addition to the doctors, the delivery-room nurses and midwives were amazing! Because my baby was large, the first one or two pushes were unsuccessful. The midwife applied pressure to my abdomen, but it did not hurt at all! After another 4–5 pushes, the baby was born! I felt as though the midwife practically delivered the baby for me 🤣. Afterward, my blood sugar was too low, and I became slightly dizzy in bed. The examination showed no problems, and the nurse immediately gave me candy to raise my blood sugar 🥹 So thoughtful! The nurses on the ward after delivery were also very attentive 💖 They checked on me frequently and taught me how to start producing breast milk! The only drawback was that the private room was too comfortable—my husband slept on the sofa for several days and was impossible to wake 🤣 Finally, thank you so much to the medical team for caring for me and helping me graduate smoothly! I will recommend Lee Women’s Hospital for life!

Why do some obstetricians and gynecologists not have a care coordinator? It feels like unequal treatment.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am truly grateful to dermatologist Dr. Chung Pei-Yi (Pipi)! After having dark spots treated last year, I did not protect my skin from the sun properly, which led to a severe acne breakout this year. Looking in the mirror every day left me depressed and completely lacking confidence. Fortunately, I found Dr. Pipi. She was very kind during appointments and used humor to educate me and correct my mistaken ideas about skin care. What moved me most was that if there was not enough time to ask detailed questions during an appointment, I could send her a private message on social media, and she would generously provide professional advice. With her attentive care, even my family and colleagues have recently commented on how much better my skin looks and asked where I received treatment! Fighting acne is a long-term battle, but finding a good doctor is truly reassuring. I highly recommend Dr. Pipi to anyone troubled by skin problems!

I originally planned to give myself egg freezing as a birthday gift this year! But my experiences during several recent examinations were very poor, so I no longer plan to freeze my eggs here 😡😡 The information provided by the doctor, clinic nurse, and front desk was inconsistent. Only Dr. Lee had a good attitude; I was dissatisfied with everyone else. More importantly, the hospital clearly has serious problems with staff training and inconsistent information. When I previously came for pre–egg freezing blood tests, two relatives and I all heard Dr. Lee Chun-Yi personally say that the results would be available the next day and that I could see him about them simply by knocking on his door, without making an appointment. Today, my boyfriend had an appointment with Dr. Lee to discuss sperm freezing, so I thought I could also review my previous blood test results. However, the nurse said she needed to book an appointment for me and asked for my National Health Insurance card, which I did not have with me. After I explained the situation, I eventually went into the consultation room with my boyfriend when his number was called and reviewed my results. When we came out, the nurse gave us a stack of forms and told us to go to the cashier. At payment, I found consultation forms for both my boyfriend and me, plus the cost of his tests. My portion alone was more than a thousand. I asked the cashier how much would be refunded after I presented my National Health Insurance card, but she said she did not know. Apparently, I had to pay first and bring my card back the following week before I could find out?? I returned to the clinic nurse, who said the fee this time was 330 and that after presenting my card, I would receive a refund of the remaining 1150–330. I asked whether the cashier would not know that information. She smiled, and I then asked why I was charged a registration fee when Dr. Lee had previously said I did not need an appointment to review my results. She kept saying she needed to insert my National Health Insurance card to access my information, even though I did not have the card with me today either 😍. I asked again, and she repeated the same explanation. I emphasized that I wanted to know why Dr. Lee had previously said I could review my own results without an appointment—had Dr. Lee been wrong? She kept repeating that she needed the card to access and print my information for Dr. Lee. After repeating herself 3 times, I could not tell whether she did not understand my question or simply did not want to answer it. She also kept saying the fee was higher because I did not have my card and that I only needed to present it within 7 days, even though the cashier had clearly told me 10 days. None of this directly addressed my question. I went straight to the service desk. The staff member there was very logical, quickly understood my question, and explained that doctors do sometimes decide patients can simply knock on the door to review results, but in principle patients must make an appointment to see their own test results. Going forward, they will require appointments for everyone 🌚 This was absolutely ridiculous! I hope others can avoid this place. You pay so much for blood tests only to leave furious!! I was already looking for another hospital where I could freeze my eggs by the time I left ☺️☺️

Thank you to Dr. Chen Yen-Yu. During the month I received care to support my pregnancy, the doctor provided reassurance and encouragement during daily rounds, so I never felt anxious and could simply follow the treatment plan. The nursing team on the 3 floor was also very kind and took excellent care of me. I have finally graduated successfully. Thank you to the Mao Sheng team!
