Patrick L. Blohm, MD, Georgia Center for Reproductive Medicine'ın kurucusu ve tıbbi direktörüdür. Wisconsin'de doğan ve Illinois'in kuzey merkezinde büyüyen Dr. Blohm, lise sınıfını ikincilikle bitirmiştir. St. John's University'den biyoloji ana dalı ve kimya yan dalıyla onur derecesiyle mezun olmuştur. St. John's'ta sınıfının tıp öncesi eğitime en yatkın öğrencisi olarak Joseph B. Dr. Blohm, Chicago'daki Rush University Medical College'dan tıp diplomasını almıştır. Tıp öğrencisiyken insan ve rhesus maymunu modelleriyle tüp bebek çalışmalarına katılmış ve ülkenin en başarılı tıp mezunlarını onurlandıran Alpha Omega Alpha Society'ye seçilmiştir. Tıp fakültesinin ardından Baltimore'daki Johns Hopkins Hospital'da dört yıllık OB/GYN uzmanlık eğitimini tamamlamıştır.

Uzmanlık eğitiminin ardından Dr. Blohm, Duke University Medical Center'daki tek üreme endokrinolojisi ve infertilite yan dalı kadrosuna seçilmiştir. Johns Hopkins ve Duke, ABD'nin önde gelen eğitim hastaneleri arasında sürekli olarak üst sıralarda yer almıştır. Tıp eğitimini tamamladıktan sonra Dr. Blohm, üreme endokrinolojisi ve infertilite alanında özel muayenehanede 21 yıl çalışmıştır. Kadın hastalıkları ve doğum ile üreme endokrinolojisi ve infertilite alanlarında kurul sertifikalıdır. Özel muayenehanesinin yanı sıra yeni hekim neslinin eğitimine ve yetiştirilmesine bağlılığını sürdürmektedir. Mercer University School of Medicine fakültesinde görev yapmakta ve Savannah OB/GYN asistanlarının infertilite rotasyonunu yönetmektedir.

I will always be grateful for the care provided by Dr. Blom and his team. They were thorough, professional, and efficient. I deeply appreciate Dr. Blom's honesty and help. I know I would not have my daughter without him and his team.

Dr. Blom is wonderful. He and his staff always keep their patients' best interests in mind and are very transparent about the process most suitable for each patient. This is very much a situation where you must trust the process, so it was important for me to understand my chances. Dr. Blom can sometimes seem reserved, but he genuinely cares for his patients and does everything possible to help you reach your goal. I have never met a more dedicated healthcare provider willing to work 7 days a week for his patients. His staff are equally amazing, and I could not have survived the fertility process without them. My twins would not be here without Dr. Blom and his staff. We will never forget the ups and downs or the unwavering support from GCRM. Thank you all so much!

I had to visit this clinic as an outside patient, and they were very difficult to work with. The staff were rude, insensitive, and rough, and provided almost no patient care.

Dr. Blom is the only reason we have our daughter! To be completely clear, the reviews frightened me. I worried that he would look at me, say I was too heavy, and refuse to help. I was very discouraged before my first appointment. That said, weight was never mentioned. I was not even weighed at my appointment. He performed tests, explained our options very precisely, and developed a plan with us. After one IUI, we became pregnant, and our perfect daughter is now 7 months old! We owe it all to this doctor and office. I never found Dr. Blom rude or “mean”; he is actually funny in his own way. He is a very kind and intelligent person. Absolutely do not let the reviews stop you 🫶🏻

The clinic manager is terrible—rude, callous, and completely lacking compassion for patients. She even argues with the doctor during procedures. It was an awful experience. I have had two embryos transferred and will not return.

My wife and I were referred to Dr. Bloom after a difficult period of trying to conceive. Dr. Bloom works in a very challenging field. His humor is dry, which some people may not like, but it is honestly very refreshing. He will do everything possible to give you the best care and help you welcome a new life. Everyone at the clinic was wonderful to work with. They never let you feel alone during this difficult fertility journey. I highly recommend this clinic.

We met Dr. Brom today, and I just want to say that he was very professional and thorough. He was kind, patiently answered all our questions, and made the entire visit feel comfortable and welcoming. We previously visited another clinic and were honestly very dissatisfied with that experience, so this visit was completely different and excellent. We are happy to continue with Dr. Brom and feel more confident about our future treatment. We recommend him 100%.

Dr. Blohm is wonderful. He is direct and takes his work seriously, exactly what I want in a healthcare provider. When dealing with fertility issues, I appreciated his knowledge, evidence-based approach, and honesty. Thanks to Dr. B, after trying unsuccessfully for nearly two years, I conceived naturally in only 5 months. I am very grateful to Dr. Blohm and his team. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Will take $100 deposit and not allow an appointment reschedule, albeit tried to reschedule 2 days before the appointment. Staff not rude but also not very welcoming - not what you want for this type of medical service. The office itself is inside the hospital and outdated. I would do your research and find a better practice to spend your money at.

The clinic staff were rude. When I scheduled the appointment more than a month ago, they did not tell me that they could do nothing for patients over 44 because “you have no eggs.” My doctor referred me to this doctor because I do have eggs, but they even refused to see me. The person I spoke with said my only option was donor eggs. I never even saw the doctor! I am quite sure you should not provide medical advice over the phone.

If you can travel to Charleston or anywhere else with better embryologists and nurses, do it! Dr. Blom himself is not bad; the problem is the rest of his team. Stay away from this clinic.

My husband and I struggled with infertility for 14 years. My OB-GYN referred us to Dr. Blom. He was direct and to the point without being unkind. I appreciated that he was honest and did not simply tell me what would make me feel better. I was 37, overweight, and had some health issues, so all these factors worked against me, and he explained that upfront. He is there to do a job, and he is very good at it. We decided to proceed with IVF, and he started immediately. We had two viable embryos and chose to transfer both, resulting in boy/girl twins. They are now two years old. We are deeply grateful to God for Dr. Blom, his wife, and his excellent staff!

I love Dr. Blom and his staff! A year ago, I consulted Coastal Fertility, but God had a better plan for me. I eventually came here, and I am grateful. Margaret went above and beyond for me. Nurse Kaitlyn was wonderful, as was Danielle. I met the embryologist, who was also excellent. The surgical staff took very good care of me and eased my anxiety. Dr. Blom is knowledgeable and honest. Everyone was very kind and patient with me, especially Kaitlyn. I called her many times with questions, and she was always friendly and informative. This clinic is not focused on money. I never felt like just a number; they treat you as a person and do everything possible to help you fulfill your dream of parenthood! I felt like family. I highly recommend this clinic.
