Dr. Cucina was very caring and attentive, and I enjoyed visiting this office. This was my first gynecology visit since moving back to Albany after 12 years.

I am a high-risk pregnancy patient who needs surgery. I had an appointment scheduled, but because of my high-risk status, Dr. Mihas requested that I be moved to his schedule. My appointment was canceled because of an insurance issue. Due to an error from a former job, primary insurance incorrectly appeared under my name, with no plan or benefits listed, while all I currently had was Medicaid. Medicaid gave me a reference number, confirmed that it would cover my visit, and provided a claim number to submit. The manager said I could not be seen until the incorrect insurance was completely removed and that Medicaid might deny the claim, although Medicaid said it would not. There was no support, reassurance, or standard of patient care for someone whose baby's life depends on surgery. I will go to the Howard Center. After I explained the situation, their manager immediately told me, ‘We will address your insurance while putting your care first.’ I will drive 45 minutes so my baby and I can receive better care.

She is an absolutely outstanding provider—very warm, caring, and professional. She calmed my nerves and resolved all my doubts and fears. Every woman should have a practitioner like Michelle Cook. I am very satisfied and cannot wait to return. Confident, capable, and caring. The staff are first-rate, and the office is clean and efficient. I recommend this office to everyone.

First, we must say that Dr. Cucina is an outstanding and highly knowledgeable doctor. He is the true definition of a physician and does the job correctly. Throughout the procedure, he made me feel very safe and kept explaining what he was doing. He was quick and efficient, with great precision at every step. I can honestly say that from start to finish, my C-section was the best experience of any of my pregnancies. If I could choose Dr. Cucina again and again, I would choose him every time. It is the best feeling to know that someone and their team understand what they are doing and excel at it. He learned about my previous childbirth experiences with other doctors and made me feel calm and relaxed. He delivered my baby boy and is the coolest obstetrician-gynecologist in Albany, Georgia. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with him should feel honored. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Cucina! You are the best!! Everyone at Albany OB-GYN is wonderful. Thank you all.

This was a great place in 08, and I had many wonderful birth experiences there from 08 to 13. I became pregnant in 2021 and miscarried. I saw Cucina, who was very rude and told me I already had enough children and did not need more, without knowing that I had lost two babies. I will never return to Albany OB-GYN! I became pregnant again in 2022/2, had a beautiful baby girl, and went to Miriam Worthy on 11/22. It was a wonderful experience.

I had a wonderful experience from finding out I was pregnant through delivery. I saw these doctors during my first pregnancy as well, so I chose to return to the same team. I absolutely love Michelle. She is warm, friendly, and helpful, and Dr. Cucina is wonderful too. I enjoyed the experience. The clinic is always clean and smells pleasant. The other staff members are also friendly and welcoming. Excellent!

I love them. I trusted them not only to care for me but also to help deliver my baby. I was very afraid, but they eased my nervousness and anxiety. The facility is very clean and tidy. I highly recommend them.

I am currently 8 months pregnant and have attended this clinic throughout my pregnancy. I firmly believe this is one of the best OB-GYN practices in Albany and would recommend it to everyone. Dr. Kuchina is my favorite physician. He is thorough, attentive, and highly knowledgeable, and he tells jokes to lift your spirits when you are feeling low. My baby began showing signs of preterm labor at 32 weeks, and Dr. Kuchina made sure both my baby and I were safe. I definitely recommend this clinic and Dr. Kuchina to all first-time mothers.

After I asked a question about myself, a rude woman at the front desk immediately hung up on me. Because I was not an established patient, she would not even direct me elsewhere or explain what I could do.

I love these doctors. They safely delivered all three of my children (Dr. Michas in 2018/Dr. Cucina in 2019/Dr. Michelle Cook in 2021), and every appointment since has also been excellent. The clinic staff are always friendly, helpful, and thoughtful.

I have been going backwards for 3 months. Everyone I know that had hysterectomies had such lovely stories l.,, but then came me but none of them went to Albany obgyn. I hate I chose this place I’ve tried to see the goo but I can’t no matter of all the good reviews which is why I gave it a try but honestly believe it’s because of the doctors office I chose to deal with. I would not recommend this provider michas or the entire practice based on my experience. After my surgery, I have continued to have significant pain and I felt dismissed when I tried to get help. Instead of being taken seriously, my concerns were brushed off and I had to push on my own just to get additional care like imaging and a pain management referral. About two weeks after my post-op, I went through what felt like severe anxiety or possible surgical menopause—something I have never experienced before. When I requested to be seen around 3 weeks post-op, the focus of the visit felt off. What I came in for was not really addressed, and I was told things like “how is your incision though?” as if the other symptoms I was struggling with weren’t important. Since then, I’ve been dealing with worsening back pain, different types of tailbone pain, and pressure in my pelvic area. I feel like my concerns have not been taken seriously at all. It has been frustrating trying to get answers, and I’ve had to request every referral myself for orthopedics, pelvic floor therapy, and other follow-ups, which takes time while I’m still dealing with daily pain. Communication has been poor and I have not felt supported during recovery. When you’re dealing with ongoing pain after a major surgery, you expect guidance and proper follow-up care, and I personally did not receive that. At this point, I feel like I’m left trying to figure out what is going on with my body on my own while waiting on appointments that I had to push hard to get. Very disappointing overall. No matter what though.,, this is not too big for God. He is my doctor.
