[Warning: My experience was three years ago.] I have long wanted to share transparently that my experience was terrible. I am honestly shocked by all the positive reviews; the negative ones resonate with me. I had an extremely difficult experience at the clinic. Communication and coordination were brutal, and getting a response by phone was absurdly difficult. More importantly, my interactions with Dr. Sonia Elguero were harsh. My first egg retrieval was mishandled, and the eggs became overmature under Dr. Elguero's supervision. The nurses inappropriately celebrated the number of eggs retrieved. I was then told the test results were available but could not receive them until the doctor called. She called at 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve, as though doing me a favor after the results had sat in her office for days. She said none of the eggs were suitable for implantation, then wished me a happy New Year. I was shocked by how she delivered the news. Setting emotion aside, a respected doctor in New York reviewed our approach and identified every error. He kindly offered to speak with Dr. Elguero, but I instead went to him for the rest of my treatment. I am fortunate to say I now have a healthy, wonderful little girl. I am 100% certain this would not have happened had I continued at Boston IVF. I was older, and Dr. Elguero said my chance of success was 5%. I believe she said that because it reflected her personal success rate. Disorganized communication and office operations can be fixed; poor medical execution is unforgivable, especially in the sensitive field of reproductive medicine. [Response to the "owner's reply": I am not sure how a templated response demonstrates personalization, and I received no follow-up.]

The staff are very friendly, especially the receptionist, and the nurses always follow up with me. So far, everything has been good.

I strongly recommend against having IVF here. The clinic is like a revolving door, with a different nurse every day. The nurses forget medications... The embryology team is also a nightmare... If Google allowed zero stars, I would give zero.

We cannot adequately express our gratitude. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. Through in vitro fertilization (IVF), our family grew—literally—beyond our expectations. Follow their instructions exactly. You must manage your own schedule and medications; they do not live with you, and much of the responsibility is yours. That is how IVF works. Do your homework, follow their plan, and have confidence and patience! A million stars for Boston IVF Albany.

I have had only two appointments, but I deeply appreciate their professionalism, efficiency, skill, prompt responses, and the compassion they have shown me so far!

I transferred here from another fertility clinic and could not be happier. I feel well supported, communication is excellent, and I can discuss my individualized treatment plan directly with the doctor instead of receiving a one-size-fits-all approach. Everyone is very kind, from the blood-draw and ultrasound nurses to those who always return calls or portal messages within 24 hours. I have never waited past my appointment time and feel respected and welcomed at every visit.

My experience at Boston IVF was terrible. In such a sensitive field, Jessica, the nurse on my care team, showed no empathy for what I was facing. Disorganization, days without returned calls, incorrectly scheduled tests and labs, and multiple last-minute appointment changes made an already stressful situation worse. Honestly, the only person who truly helped was the receptionist because she was the only one who answered the phone. For weeks, I hoped to speak with a manager but could only leave messages. Unsurprisingly, after several messages, it still took days to receive a response. I regret wasting my time and money at Boston IVF.

The problem is that I have been trying to contact you for a month to follow up on treatment, but you never respond despite your promises. You send many emails, but none are useful, and when I finally reach you, the call disconnects. This is extremely important to my family, and you should understand that, but you seem not to care about some clients.
