Dr. Xiaomei Zhang has more than 20 years of clinical and research experience in reproductive medicine, specializing in assisted reproduction, research, and medical management. In 2007, she completed a doctorate in obstetrics and gynecology at the Jones Institute at Eastern Virginia Medical School. In 2015, she was invited to the Yale Fertility Center for international exchange and collaboration in reproductive medicine. She has served as an expert reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and as a guest editorial board member of Reproduction and Contraception. Dr. Zhang has 10 years of experience as director of a reproductive center at a Grade A tertiary hospital in China, including the Reproductive Center of Northern Jiangsu People’s Hospital. She is experienced in ovarian stimulation and embryo transfer protocols and in assisted reproduction procedures including egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and multifetal pregnancy reduction. An ARDMS member, she has particular expertise in ultrasound examinations and ultrasound-guided procedures for assisted reproduction.

    I could not find a more professional and welcoming fertility clinic. From Sophia to the nurses and doctors, everyone gave me tremendous support and care.     My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Praveen and his team. He was extremely helpful during both the initial consultation and follow-up testing. He spent a great deal of time explaining the factors that affect fertility and infertility, as well as the testing and treatment options available to help us achieve our dream of having our first child. The staff were also warm and attentive, friendly when scheduling appointments and welcoming us, and did their best to accommodate our needs.     Honestly, I really liked this clinic. I was very stressed about fertility issues before going, but they patiently explained the different options without making me feel pressured or sold to; they simply answered my questions clearly. The doctor even used a notebook to draw diagrams for me, which was very helpful. During the examination, staff periodically checked how I was feeling, adjusted my blanket, brought me water, and so on. The entire clinic was modern, and the machines operated quietly, which actually helped me relax. The success-rate data they showed me was also reassuring. There were no exaggerated claims, just clear, reasonable figures.
