I’m here to help.  With over 30 years of experience in reproductive medicine, my specialties include in vitro fertilization, treating congenital anomalies associated with infertility, as well as endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome.  

 

After both of my children experienced infertility, I decided that we needed to address fertility treatment from multiple angles.

 

This is why we founded bloom fertility.

 

I value being able to educate my patients on their diagnosis and treatment options, develop treatment plans that work for each individual’s needs, and look forward to helping you reach your goal of parenthood.

 

Dr. Carpenter has been a recipient of the Castle Connolly Top Doc award since 2018.

    Dr. Carpenter and her entire team at Bloom are amazing! As a plus-size woman, I was very worried about receiving fertility care because other clinics had previously rejected me. Other doctors saw only the number on the scale, but Dr. Carpenter saw me as a whole person, not just my weight. I cannot describe how much that meant to me. She developed a plan for us and helped us become pregnant within 4–5 months after we had tried on our own for 2 years. Everyone was responsive and guided us through every step. I highly recommend this team. Thank you, Dr. Carpenter and Bloom, for helping our family grow!

    Since finding Bloom, my concerns about fertility have eased. Dr. Carpenter and her team are exceptional people who genuinely care about their patients. Whenever I have a question, they respond promptly through the online portal or by phone. I never imagined I would face this situation at age 37, but here I am, with the best team supporting me through it. I highly recommend Bloom to anyone who wants to feel seen and heard.

    Visiting Dr. Carpenter was the best decision we made during our fertility journey. We have just received positive news from our IUI cycle and cannot thank the doctor and staff enough. Throughout the past 3–4 months, they were highly supportive and clearly explained every treatment step. Dr. Carpenter was personally involved throughout the process and patiently explained what she saw and did. The facility is very clean and well maintained by the team. Scheduling appointments and choosing times were also very easy compared with other clinics we had visited. Regarding finances: if you are hesitant because Bloom does not work with insurance, consider this. We completed 1 IUI cycle at SGF with insurance and 2 cycles at Bloom without insurance. We ultimately paid less for 2 cycles at Bloom than we paid SGF for 1 cycle through our deductible/out-of-pocket costs. Bloom's service and friendliness surpass SGF any day. Thank you again to Dr. Carpenter and her team for helping us through this journey. We will be grateful to all of you for life :)

    I want to express how happy I am to have found Bloom Fertility. From the initial consultation with Dr. Carpenter to my bloodwork, the experience has been excellent. I am usually afraid of needles, but the nurse was incredible: I felt nothing and had no bruising, which is rare for me. The team responds by phone and through the message portal, showing how much they care about patients. I also recently had a HyFoSy test in their office. Although nervous at first, Dr. Carpenter was wonderful, made the process effortless, and minimized discomfort. We received good news from the test. Although we have not started the planned treatment, I am excited about the next steps and trust that we are in good hands. Thank you to the Bloom Fertility team for treating us as individuals and making this journey easier.

    We have been seeing Dr. Sue Ellen Carpenter for several months and have only wonderful things to say. Her office is always spotless, and the caring staff make you feel at home.     I do not even know where to begin. Writing this makes me very emotional. When I first saw Dr. Carpenter, I was hopeful and afraid. I did not know what INVOcell was, but the idea that the embryos could be fertilized inside my own body appealed to me. It made the infertility journey feel less “unconventional” and more intimate. Dr. Carpenter and her staff—Miksha and Ellie—held your hand through the process, and I never felt like a number. They now have even more staff and are more efficient than ever, contacting you before you even ask and answering any question! I genuinely feel that they are like family. Despite having only one ovary, I still obtained 5 high-quality blastocysts and became pregnant with twins. The twin pregnancy was very difficult and became complicated. Dr. Carpenter came to the hospital to check on me and hugged me, which I truly needed because I have no family here. I have never seen a doctor do that for a patient, especially when she was not even my OB-GYN! A simple Google review cannot adequately express my confidence in this practice or the depth of their knowledge. They customize your plan according to your test results instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach. You are never rushed: she answers all your questions and never makes you feel foolish, even though we sometimes ask foolish questions. Costs are completely transparent. You are not drawn in by an “advertised” price and later disappointed by unexpected bills. Dr. Carpenter genuinely tailors your treatment to your family goals, and I love that about her. I am currently returning to her again. Although I already have frozen embryos, I am beginning a new cycle because we want a larger family, and I simply cannot bring myself to go anywhere else. I trust her so much that I would be doubtful elsewhere. I truly believe that if you live in Georgia, there is nowhere you should go other than Bloom Fertility. I think she is the best INVO doctor, even if you are a traveling patient. It is far less expensive than conventional IVF! I simply love them!

    We were unable to conceive. We tried timed intercourse, but it did not work. Intrauterine insemination (IUI) seemed promising, but ultimately failed after we had been told for months that it worked. We did not want to waste money on in vitro fertilization (IVF), which might not work either. The hardest part was having people, especially a fertility clinic, give up and say there was nothing more they could do. Bloom Fertility was our last hope, but unfortunately they could not help us. Now we are on our own and feel abandoned. 💔 Overall, I am extremely disappointed and feel I wasted my time and money. Given the high ratings, we expected better, but we are both heartbroken and empty because we are still not pregnant.

    We had a wonderful experience here. Everyone was very kind from the moment we walked in. Nurse Cynthia was very friendly, and Dr. Carpenter was warm and approachable. Cynthia made my lab work easy—normally it takes at least three attempts, but she got it on the first try, which made me very happy. This was our first visit, and I look forward to continuing with Dr. Carpenter and the Bloom Fertility team!

    Doctor Carpenter and her team are truly amazing! I’ve been working with them for two years and I don’t have a single complaint. They respond quickly to my questions, I always feel heard, and Dr. Carpenter is incredibly attentive to detail. I’m RH negative, and after my miscarriage, my OB at the time didn’t pay attention to this important detail. I’m so grateful I reached out to Dr. Carpenter, because the very first thing she did was ensure I received the necessary injection to prevent future complications, that level of care meant so much to me. Whenever I have questions, I simply send them through the patient portal and within just a few hours I receive an answer. The nurses and reception staff are warm, kind, and professional, and the office itself is beautiful. On top of that, there are no hidden fees and I’ve never had any issues with billing. I’ll be starting an INVOcell cycle with them next, and I truly have high hopes knowing I’m in the best hands.

    I cannot say enough good things about Bloom! I previously went to the largest fertility clinic in Atlanta but never received the level of service Bloom provides. The staff are outstanding, wait times are very short, Dr. Carpenter is kind and answers all your questions, and the nurses are wonderful. They use an app called nAble-Health, unlike Healow, which my other OB-GYN uses. Through the app, you can send questions to the nurses or Dr. Carpenter, and an education tab walks you through each upcoming step. Bloom's pricing for all blood tests is much more reasonable than elsewhere, which I greatly appreciate because I do not have insurance. They are easy to work with and respond very quickly. I love Bloom and would recommend it to anyone starting a fertility journey. Do not waste your time or money elsewhere.

    From the moment I entered and met Dr. Carpenter, I knew I had found a doctor I could trust. My previous clinic left me hopeless. I saw the doctor once and never again; a different doctor performed my unsuccessful artificial insemination. I then saw a Till Bloom Fertility advertisement on social media, which felt like a ray of hope, especially when I learned they offered affordable options for those unable to afford IVF. I told my husband this was our opportunity and scheduled a consultation. After my first conversation with Dr. Carpenter, I knew I had found the right clinic, and we began quickly. The staff are an exceptional team—the best I have ever met, from the doctors onward. We chose INVOcell, which worked very well and produced many embryos. We froze them and completed an embryo transfer this week. We are now in the difficult waiting period. If you need a fertility clinic, look no further; this clinic is the best. I drive almost two hours to get there, but every hour is worthwhile. Each visit fills me with hope, and I am grateful I found them in time.

    I really love this clinic and Dr. Carpenter. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we transferred to another clinic because it accepts our insurance, but I already miss Bloom! Dr. Carpenter was more attentive to my treatment, and I felt that the clinic staff genuinely cared about our family-building plans. If you can afford it, I highly recommend this clinic even without insurance. Sometimes paying without insurance is actually less expensive, so if you want a good clinic that truly cares about patients, I still recommend considering Bloom.

    By the time I learned about Bloom Fertility and heard all the amazing recommendations about them, I had already paid for my treatment at another clinic and was unable to switch because I would not have received a refund. For that reason, I had to wait until my embryos were created before transferring my care to Bloom Fertility. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Dr. Sue and the entire staff are truly exceptional. Their communication is outstanding, they are always available to answer questions, and they genuinely care about their patients. I can honestly say that Bloom Fertility is the best fertility clinic. I am willing to travel more than 12 hours for my procedure because the level of care, professionalism, and compassion they provide is absolutely worth it.     By the time I learned about Bloom Fertility and heard all the amazing recommendations about them, I had already paid for my treatment at another clinic and was unable to switch because I would not have received a refund. For that reason, I had to wait until my embryos were created before transferring my care to Bloom Fertility. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Dr. Sue and the entire staff are truly exceptional. Their communication is outstanding, they are always available to answer questions, and they genuinely care about their patients. I can honestly say that Bloom Fertility is the best fertility clinic. I am willing to travel more than 12 hours for my procedure because the level of care, professionalism, and compassion they provide is absolutely worth it.     I love this clinic and Dr. Carpenter. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we transferred to another clinic because it accepts our insurance, but I already miss Bloom! Dr. Carpenter was more attentive and thorough with my care, and I felt that the clinic staff truly cared about our family-building plans. If you can afford it, I highly recommend this clinic even without insurance. Sometimes self-pay can be less expensive than using insurance, so if you are looking for a good clinic that genuinely cares about patients, I still recommend considering Bloom.

    From the moment I entered the clinic and met Dr. Carpenter, I knew I had found someone I could trust. My previous clinic left me hopeless: I saw the doctor once, never saw her again, and a different doctor performed my unsuccessful IUI. Then I saw an ad for Till Bloom Fertility on social media. It felt like a ray of hope, especially when I learned they offered affordable options for people unable to pay for IVF. I told my husband this was our chance and booked a consultation. My first conversation with Dr. Carpenter confirmed that I had found the right clinic, and we began treatment quickly. The clinic staff are an exceptional team—the doctor and every staff member are the best. We chose INVOcell, had excellent results, and obtained many embryos. We froze them and completed an embryo transfer this week. Now we are in the difficult waiting period. If you are seeking a fertility clinic, look no further. I drive nearly two hours to get there, but every hour is worthwhile. Each time I enter, I feel hopeful and grateful that I found them when I did.

    I cannot say enough good things about Bloom! I previously went to the largest fertility clinic in Atlanta but never received the excellent service Bloom provides. Their staff are outstanding, wait times are very short, Dr. Carpenter is kind and answers all your questions, and the nurses are wonderful. They use an app called nAble-Health, unlike Healow, which my other OB-GYN uses. In the app, you can send questions to a nurse or Dr. Carpenter, and the education tab walks you through what comes next step by step. Bloom’s pricing for all blood tests is much more reasonable than elsewhere, which I greatly appreciate because I do not have insurance. They are very easy to work with and respond very quickly! I love Bloom and recommend it to anyone beginning a fertility journey. Do not waste your time and money elsewhere.

    Doctor Carpenter and her team are truly amazing! I’ve been working with them for two years and I don’t have a single complaint. They respond quickly to my questions, I always feel heard, and Dr. Carpenter is incredibly attentive to detail. I’m RH negative, and after my miscarriage, my OB at the time didn’t pay attention to this important detail. I’m so grateful I reached out to Dr. Carpenter, because the very first thing she did was ensure I received the necessary injection to prevent future complications, that level of care meant so much to me. Whenever I have questions, I simply send them through the patient portal and within just a few hours I receive an answer. The nurses and reception staff are warm, kind, and professional, and the office itself is beautiful. On top of that, there are no hidden fees and I’ve never had any issues with billing. I’ll be starting an INVOcell cycle with them next, and I truly have high hopes knowing I’m in the best hands.

    We had a wonderful experience here. From the moment we entered, everyone was very kind. Nurse Cynthia was extremely friendly, and Dr. Carpenter was also very pleasant. Cynthia made my laboratory testing easy. It usually takes at least three attempts, but she succeeded on the first try, which made me very happy. This was our first visit, and I look forward to continuing to work with Dr. Carpenter and the Bloom Fertility Center team!
