Dr. Jacqueline Christine Lee, United States
Jacqueline C. Lee, MD, is a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist at Emory Reproductive Center. Dr. Lee graduated with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. As a medical student, she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She then completed her OB/GYN residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, where she received the Michael Newton Award, presented to a resident who combines clinical excellence with attention to patients' emotional and social needs. After residency, Dr. Lee completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Emory Reproductive Center.
During her fellowship, Dr. Lee collaborated with the CDC on several research projects, including two published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology (trends and outcomes in embryo donation, and state-mandated insurance coverage for discontinuation of IVF care). Dr. Lee has presented her research at several national scientific and clinical meetings, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. After fellowship, she chose to join Emory's REI faculty because of the center's exceptional commitment to high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based patient care.
Dr. Lee believes it is important to meet patients where they are and personalize their care around what matters most to them. Her priority is to educate people about their reproductive potential and provide current, evidence-based information so they can make informed treatment decisions. She encourages those in her care to ask questions and ensures they feel heard. In turn, she promises to listen and provide ongoing support. Her goal is to help patients achieve their goals through efficient, patient-centered care.
Dr. Lee is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her clinical interests include infertility and fertility preservation. Outside medicine, she enjoys travel, hiking, and spending time with family.
