Dr. Jessica Rubin, United States
Jessica R. Rubin, MD, MSCI, returned to her hometown of Atlanta in 2018 to join the RBA physician team. She earned a bachelor's degree in science, technology, and society and Hispanic studies from Vassar College, followed by her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Inspired by her interest in women's health, she completed a four-year residency at Emory University and became board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Her residency strengthened her passion for helping couples experiencing fertility difficulties.
Dr. Rubin's primary clinical interests include fertility preservation, IVF, polycystic ovary syndrome, third-party reproduction, and diminished ovarian reserve. She has a particular focus on fertility preservation for women before and after cancer treatment. A dedicated patient advocate, she is committed to providing high-quality, personalized fertility care.
Dr. Rubin is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in reproductive endocrinology and obstetrics and gynecology. She completed her reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, training in ovulation induction, IVF, fibroid management, endometriosis treatment, and endoscopic surgery, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She also conducted high-quality translational research on the effects of IVF protocols on embryo growth and reproductive success. While training at Baylor, she also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI).
Dr. Rubin is an active member of several medical organizations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. She has received numerous awards for academic achievement, research, and dedication to teaching, including a Golden Apple Teaching Award for every year of residency training. During residency and fellowship, she published in peer-reviewed medical journals and gave oral and poster presentations at several national meetings. Her research has focused on vitamin supplements during fertility treatment, the effects of the embryo culture environment on reproductive success, and genetic testing of embryos. Dr. Rubin also co-authored book chapters on fertility preservation techniques for patients with cancer.
