Dr. Moghadam was again fortunate to be nominated by his peers through Castle Connolly and Austin Monthly Magazine as a Top Doctor in the specialty of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.  Nearing completion of 15 years in private practice and 10 years in Austin as the founder and medical director of Austin Fertility Institute, Dr. Moghadam considers it a privilege to care for patients seeking fertility services and an honor to work with his referring physicians as a fertility consultant.   He is also proud to lead the only practice that exclusively serves the Austin community to receive the above recognition.  Both he and the entire Austin Fertility Institute team look forward to meeting Austin’s reproductive care needs for many years to come!

After three years of infertility and seeing numerous doctors, we had lost hope and time. Then we found Dr. Moghadam—Dr. Mogey, as I like to call him—and his AFI team. Our hope returned, and for good reason: we graduated a few weeks ago! I could write an entire love letter or essay to AFI, but I will try to keep it brief and sweet. Dr. Mogey is direct and extremely knowledgeable. He is also compassionate and funny. I trusted him completely, despite having trust issues, especially in healthcare, and felt that he genuinely cared about me as a patient and about our ultimate goal. I cannot praise AFI enough. The front-desk staff, technicians, and nurses are all kind and helpful. We miss them! From the first consultation, we knew we were in good hands and were amazed by how quickly he made things happen. We are very grateful. I am an anxious person, but Dr. Mogey was transparent and reassuring and always took time to answer all our questions thoroughly. Because this is a specialty office, I also expected long waits, but to my pleasant surprise, we were usually in and out quickly. I can recall only one or two longer waits, which is not bad considering how many visits IVF requires. In short, if you are serious about your fertility, see Dr. Mogey and the AFI team. Do it.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Moghadam and do not recommend this place. During my visit, Dr. Moghadam showed a complete lack of empathy and was aggressive, judgmental, and disrespectful. His bedside manner was the worst I have ever encountered. I expressed my dissatisfaction with his behavior and had to leave his office. I regret not heeding the warnings in numerous one-star reviews about his disrespectful conduct. I will not allow him to bully me.

I would give zero stars if I could. I was shocked by the way he spoke to patients. I would never want anyone to lose the opportunity to have a family, but if you can go anywhere else, you should. Thanks to Aspire Fertility, I have a wonderful baby boy!

Dr. Moghadam is very kind and passionate about his work and highly compassionate toward patients. His staff are very professional and clearly communicated the importance of the medication schedule. They also worked hard to reduce our medication costs and provided samples when available. We underwent several IVF procedures, but the donor agency did not explain the difference between proven and unproven donors. We were new to this. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful after spending about $50,000 across two IVF centers. Even so, Dr. M. never gave up and always did his best to carry out plans B and C, though we accepted responsibility for the wrong decision we may have made about the donor. We felt very cared for and supported throughout the process. I highly recommend Dr. M to anyone with fertility problems. We are considering returning after saving enough for surrogacy.

Dr. Moghadam and the entire AFI team have been outstanding to my family and me over the past 3 years. In 2022, after multiple miscarriages and visits to other Austin fertility clinics, I met Dr. M and his nurse, and we developed a plan for a successful pregnancy. This is not an assembly-line fertility clinic like some others in Austin. He cares about patients, creates detailed plans, and even messages or calls on weekends and holidays so you are not left waiting for laboratory work. After our daughter was born and we moved out of Texas, my husband and I decided to return to AFI in Austin to help us become pregnant again, and everything has gone smoothly. If you want a fertility clinic that cares about your successful pregnancy and treats you as more than a number, AFI is an excellent choice. I highly recommend them.

Working with Dr. M was wonderful. He is direct, communicates clearly, and cares about his patients. It was clear to my husband and me that he was not simply directing us toward the most expensive option. He diagnosed and treated my endometriosis, and we were fortunate to conceive our daughter without assistance after surgery. His clinic is busy, so waits can be long, but that is also the nature of medicine: doctors schedule surgeries and take time with patients rather than rushing them. I will continue recommending AFI to anyone I know seeking a fertility specialist!

Where do I begin in expressing my gratitude for AFI and Dr. M? We came to him after a previous doctor diagnosed diminished ovarian reserve while we were struggling to have a second child. The original clinic would not change its protocol, investigate more deeply, or consider the whole picture. Dr. M was different. He explained every option and which he believed would work, and we trusted him immediately. He is direct and to the point, but is that not why you go to a fertility clinic: for answers? That is what I wanted. Do not mistake his directness for a lack of care; nothing could be further from the truth. I can confidently recommend Dr. M and his staff to anyone. We are now awaiting the birth of twins conceived during our first IUI cycle at AFI, and I could not be more grateful to Dr. M. He wanted the process to go as smoothly as we did and became excited at every ultrasound when we said the babies had suddenly appeared. I will never forget Dr. M and his desire to see our dream of growing our family come true. If you are struggling with infertility, go to AFI. I promise you will not regret the decision. We will see you next time at AFI with our two babies!

My wife and I had a very positive experience working with Dr. Moghadam and his team at Austin Fertility Institute. We chose reciprocal IVF, and from the beginning, Dr. Moghadam was very respectful and knowledgeable about our path to parenthood. I had long experienced painful periods, and Dr. Moghadam was the first physician to correctly diagnose my endometriosis. He referred me to an excellent surgeon for a myomectomy, which laid the foundation for a successful transfer. I recovered well after surgery, and our first embryo transfer resulted in a healthy baby. When we decided to expand our family, we returned to Austin Fertility Institute. Following another successful embryo transfer, we are expecting our second baby in November. We received truly personalized care. Dr. Moghadam always answered our questions patiently and guided us through each step. Although waits were sometimes long, this was because he gave every patient the time and attention they needed, which we deeply appreciated. His staff were also very kind and helpful. They were especially understanding about my fear of needles and helped me establish a routine for blood draws, making them easier to tolerate. Fertility treatment can feel overwhelming, but having a respectful, compassionate, and caring team made all the difference. We are very grateful to Austin Fertility Institute for helping us build our family.

Updated Review—Our Full Journey Now that our fertility journey is complete, I want to share a fuller account of our experience with Dr. M and his clinic. First, I want to acknowledge that Dr. M is highly professional. From the beginning, he was candid about our treatment options and created a clear plan based on my diagnosis and insurance coverage. We completed one IVF cycle and froze two viable embryos. At the time, we hoped for two children, and Dr. M presented two options: a second IVF cycle, potentially paid out of pocket with a claim submitted for reimbursement, or intrauterine insemination (IUI). Although I was initially skeptical about IUI, especially given our past experience, Dr. M encouraged us to consider it—and thankfully, it succeeded after two cycles. Although we are extremely grateful to have achieved our goal of becoming parents, I want to speak honestly about the challenges we faced. Dr. M's bedside manner was deeply disappointing. Although I believe this field requires compassion, and he does show some, I would not describe the overall patient experience he provides as warm or empathetic. At 8 weeks pregnant, I experienced a particularly difficult episode of severe bleeding. Unable to reach the clinic during office hours, I texted Dr. M at the emergency number he had provided. He replied, “This is an inappropriate use of my cell phone. My staff will call you back.” When I was seen at the clinic, he dismissively told me, “Your baby is fine, just as I thought,” without expressing any empathy for the deeply distressing situation. Nine months later, we welcomed a healthy baby boy. After a difficult pregnancy and postpartum period, we felt our family was complete. Because the clinic still stored two frozen embryos, I contacted them to ask about other options. Unfortunately, getting a clear answer from the responsible staff was frustrating and vague. I struggled to obtain any specific information. Eventually, I spoke with Natasha at the front desk, who was always kind, helpful, and compassionate and deserves special recognition. After that conversation, Dr. M called me directly. Instead of addressing my concerns or acknowledging the communication problems, he defended his staff, emphasized their ability to work from home, and highlighted the clinic's strong overall performance. He implied that the issue might be how I asked my questions rather than the quality of the responses. We ultimately retrieved our embryos from the laboratory, whose staff were professional and kind throughout the process. In summary, although I am very grateful to Dr. M for helping us become parents, I cannot overlook the emotional impact of an experience that often felt transactional and lacking in compassion. If your insurance allows you to choose a clinic where care is more empathetic and supportive, I encourage you to explore that option.

In 2023, another fertility specialist told us we would never be able to have children. On July 1, 2025, we welcomed beautiful twins. None of this would have been possible without Dr. Moghadam. We sincerely thank him for everything he did. We highly recommend him and have referred several friends who are investigating their own fertility concerns.

I waited more than a year before reflecting on the treatment I received. Pros: Dr. M is knowledgeable and communicates the treatment process and options well. You may need some familiarity with medical terminology to understand their discussions and plans. The staff are also well trained and knowledgeable. Cons: His bedside manner left me feeling hurt and diminished. This was not a side effect—it seemed to be his intention. Worst of all, he appeared to feel powerful while watching me struggle.

I had the best experience at AFI! After becoming pregnant with my second baby, I graduated from Dr. M’s care again, and I will always be grateful that they helped our family grow! After two IVF cycles at another clinic in town, with only one successful transfer out of three, I was not even sure I could have the lively family I dreamed of. At AFI, I had better results in every way: lower hormone doses, more follicles and embryos, and a transfer success rate of one in two! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. M and his entire team.

I wish I could give Dr. M and AFI ten stars! We strongly recommend them. Dr. M is truly an expert. After our recurrent pregnancy losses, he provided exceptional, highly personalized care as we tried to grow our family. He spent countless hours with us, clearly explaining processes and options and patiently answering our many questions. We never felt rushed, and he always listened carefully. He also performed several procedures with remarkable precision and skill. Dr. M's nurses and medical assistants were kind, helpful, and very supportive, making us feel like part of a family, especially during fertility treatment when we spent so much time at the clinic. We are delighted and grateful to have recently graduated from AFI with a successful pregnancy. Dr. M is known as Austin's best fertility doctor for good reason; you cannot go wrong choosing him!

We cannot thank this clinic enough. We initially had a consultation and received a quote, but circumstances caused a delay. When we contacted him again nearly a year later, he still honored it even though he did not have to. He was attentive and personally involved throughout the process, which was especially valuable given the unexpected issues that can arise during IVF. The clinic staff were also very kind. We are deeply grateful that his extensive knowledge and experience helped us fulfill our dream of building a family.

We are deeply grateful for the care AFI has provided so far. Our fertility journey is still ongoing. We remain hopeful and want to document the genuine care and support we have already experienced. Dr. Moghadam is knowledgeable and meticulous. He personally participates in nearly every ultrasound and follow-up, devoting substantial time to explanations, education, and our questions, which is very reassuring. Most impressive is his attention to our individual circumstances. He ordered necessary tests, investigated areas other doctors overlooked, and found a previously missed cause. When needed, he thoughtfully refers us to other specialists, showing that identifying the cause is his priority. The nurses and staff are also wonderful: compassionate, patient, and consistently kind. Familiar faces and the feeling that they know and understand you make each visit reassuring. Continuity among clinicians and staff matters greatly. We are grateful to work with this excellent medical team and highly recommend the clinic.

I am sharing this experience because I wish someone had warned me beforehand. I left this clinic early in my IVF treatment because I no longer trusted the doctor's medical judgment and did not feel emotionally safe continuing care. During IVF treatment and bleeding in early pregnancy, I experienced a pattern of cold and intimidating communication. My reasonable medical questions were mocked. Instead of having a collaborative discussion with me, they gave me ultimatums. When I requested HCG monitoring during bleeding and after multiple miscarriages, my concerns were initially ignored and dismissed. At one appointment, I was left naked on the exam table with the door to the hallway open. I felt unsafe and violated. I left several conversations with this doctor sobbing. I felt anxious before every appointment and afraid to express myself honestly. A staff member quietly told me that others had experienced similar situations, making me realize I was not the only one. After transferring care, my OB-GYN immediately detected and treated a urinary tract infection during a routine early-pregnancy visit that AFI had missed. During such a medically sensitive time, learning that even something so basic required special vigilance further undermined my trust in the clinic. I also encountered issues with laboratory billing, with vague and inconsistent explanations. Given the already significant financial burden of fertility treatment, this lack of transparency further increased my distrust. Taken together, these experiences left me feeling emotionally abused. I did not feel safe, respected, medically protected, or free from financial pressure in the management of my care. Women deserve trauma-informed, fully transparent fertility care. I do not recommend AFI.

We were fortunate to receive treatment from Dr. Moghadam and his team twice. The first time resulted in twins, and the second in a singleton pregnancy; both experiences went very smoothly. After speaking with Dr. Kenneth K. Moghadam yesterday, I was in tears. I specifically chose this clinic for remote monitoring because they verbally assured me over the phone that they could perform urgent fertility lab tests. Around 7:30 AM on Friday, May 8, 2026, the clinic's phone lines were not operational as expected. Pharmacist Mary later told me that she was late for work and the clinic was understaffed. Throughout the morning, I encountered significant difficulties in submitting lab test requests. At one point, they instructed me to have the clinic submit FSH and LH as non-urgent tests, which was clearly inappropriate given the time-sensitive nature of fertility monitoring. Later, they instructed me to have the clinic resubmit a revised requisition form that excluded tests the clinic apparently does not perform, such as AMH, TSH, T3, T4, and quantitative hCG. I was very surprised by this for a clinic offering fertility monitoring services. Even after these corrections, I still needed to make a fourth call just to confirm whether the clinic had everything ready for my appointment at 8 AM on Monday, May 11. That day was the critical window for the first day of the menstrual cycle monitoring. During this time, Dr. Moghadam was extremely arrogant, scolding me for calling the clinic four times within eight hours and claiming that I was "not his only patient." He also repeatedly threatened to contact Central New York Fertility Center and repeatedly stated he would revoke my patient status. At the end of the call, Dr. Moghadam yelled at me, issued threats, and spoke to me in an intimidating and contemptuous tone. When I politely asked him to be patient, he snapped, "Patience?! We don't need to talk about that..." By the end of the call, I felt completely violated and humiliated. No patient—especially someone undergoing fertility treatment—should be treated this way. Given this experience, I will no longer seek treatment at this clinic. I firmly believe that Dr. Moghadam's behavior was inappropriate and severely inconsistent with the professionalism and human compassion that patients deserve in healthcare, particularly in women's healthcare and fertility-related services.

Even when the office was closed for the weekend, he made a special trip to ensure that I received the medication I needed for IVF. After our successful IVF treatment, we were honored to return to their care for the next stage of our journey.

My husband and I had an experience that exceeded our expectations throughout IVF treatment. From our first consultation with Dr. Moghadam, we felt fully informed, supported, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Moghadam is extremely knowledgeable and patiently explained every step of IVF treatment in detail. He was candid about what we might encounter, answered our questions honestly, and ensured that we understood both the challenges and possibilities. This gave us confidence from the very beginning. He kept us hopeful while also helping us remain realistic. What impressed us most was how organized the entire clinic was. I never felt lost. I always knew what the next step was, when it would happen, and what I needed to do. IVF treatment involves many medications, injections, and scheduling requirements, which can feel overwhelming. Thanks to the medication flowchart they provided, however, I never had to guess, call with questions, or worry that I was doing something wrong. It gave me tremendous confidence and made an intimidating process feel manageable. The nurses and front desk staff were outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was kind, patient, warm, and genuinely eager to help. Even when I had an occasional question, someone almost always answered the phone immediately. If I left a message, they responded within an hour. Their communication was excellent. Most importantly, I never felt like just one of many patients. I always felt seen, cared for, and supported. IVF is an emotional and vulnerable journey, and having a team that truly cared about me was essential. I love this clinic and everyone there so much that I wished they could continue caring for me through the end of my pregnancy. That says everything about the trust and gratitude I feel toward this team. Thank you to Dr. Moghadam and the entire staff for making one of the most emotional journeys of our lives feel organized, supportive, and hopeful. We will always be grateful for everything you have done for our family. IVF treatment can feel extremely stressful, lonely, and emotionally overwhelming, but this team never let us feel alone. We don’t need to discuss that...” I ended the call feeling completely violated and humiliated. No patient—especially one undergoing fertility treatment—should be treated this way. Because of this experience, I will no longer receive care at this clinic. I firmly believe Dr. Moghaddam’s conduct was inappropriate and seriously inconsistent with the professionalism and compassion patients deserve in healthcare, particularly women’s health and fertility services.

We were fortunate to receive treatment from Dr. Moghadam and his team twice. The first time resulted in twins, and the second in a singleton pregnancy; both experiences went very smoothly. A few years ago, before my son was born, I went to the Austin Fertility Institute for testing to see whether there were any fertility issues before trying to conceive. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. M was one of the most disappointing medical experiences I have ever had. He was cold and rude, not only to me but also to my partner. During an already vulnerable time, I felt like nothing more than a number—or worse, merely a source of income for him. I left feeling unheard, unvalued, and very angry. He even told us to go elsewhere if we continued discussing the discount he had offered. Later, when I became pregnant and wanted to take a photo of the fetus/yolk sac, Dr. M yelled at me: “You can't take pictures in someone else's facility without permission. That's unacceptable—are you crazy?” I did not know the rules at the time and had never been to a fertility clinic; he could have been kinder. He rolled his eyes, had a terrible attitude, and seemed impatient whenever I spoke. I knew I could no longer waste my money on a fertility doctor who became irritated by every question. We should have just looked online. Only three visits left such a strong impression that afterward I chose only female doctors for reproductive healthcare. I have moved past the experience, but I want to share it so others know to look for compassionate doctors who genuinely care about their health, their journey, and their peace of mind.

I am sharing this experience because I wish someone had warned me. I left this clinic early in my IVF treatment because I no longer trusted the doctor's clinical judgment and did not feel emotionally safe continuing care. During IVF treatment and early-pregnancy bleeding, I experienced a pattern of cold and intimidating communication. Reasonable medical questions were mocked. Instead of collaborative discussion, I received ultimatums. When I requested HCG monitoring during bleeding and after multiple miscarriages, my concerns were initially ignored and dismissed. During one visit, I was left naked on the examination table with the hallway door open. I felt unsafe and violated. I left multiple conversations with this doctor in tears. Before every appointment, I felt anxious and afraid to speak honestly. A staff member quietly told me that others had experienced similar situations, which made me realize I was not alone. After transferring care, my obstetrician-gynecologist immediately identified and treated a urinary tract infection during routine early-pregnancy screening that the AFI clinic had missed. Discovering that even such a basic issue required special attention during a medically vulnerable period further undermined my trust in the practice. I also encountered laboratory billing problems with vague and inconsistent explanations. Given the already substantial financial burden of fertility treatment, this lack of transparency deepened my mistrust. Taken together, these experiences felt emotionally abusive. I did not feel safe, respected, medically protected, or free from financial pressure in the management of my care. Women deserve trauma-informed and fully transparent fertility care. I do not recommend AFI.

Dr. M changed our lives. We will always be grateful for the miracle he gave us and for his exceptional medical skill. We sincerely thank him for everything he did to help us have a child. It was an extremely stressful time, but the entire team, including nurses Amy, Kaitlyn, and Natasha, consistently gave us tremendous support and encouragement. We are deeply grateful for the care AFI has provided so far. Our fertility journey is still ongoing. We remain hopeful and want to document the genuine care and support we have already experienced. Dr. Moghadam is knowledgeable and meticulous. He personally participates in nearly every ultrasound and follow-up, devoting substantial time to explanations, education, and our questions, which is very reassuring. Most impressive is his attention to our individual circumstances. He ordered necessary tests, investigated areas other doctors overlooked, and found a previously missed cause. When needed, he thoughtfully refers us to other specialists, showing that identifying the cause is his priority. The nurses and staff are also wonderful: compassionate, patient, and consistently kind. Familiar faces and the feeling that they know and understand you make each visit reassuring. Continuity among clinicians and staff matters greatly. We are grateful to work with this excellent medical team and highly recommend the clinic.

I am extremely angry because my cycle for this month is now over. I authorize Austin Fertility Center—the doctor and your team—to take legal action regarding the accusations you have made against me. Please provide your evidence. This conduct is unacceptable. I will return to add more about my experience.

We cannot thank this clinic enough. We initially had a consultation and received a quote, but circumstances caused a delay. When we contacted him again nearly a year later, he still honored it even though he did not have to. He was attentive and personally involved throughout the process, which was especially valuable given the unexpected issues that can arise during IVF. The clinic staff were also very kind. We are deeply grateful that his extensive knowledge and experience helped us fulfill our dream of building a family.

I wish I could give Dr. M and AFI ten stars! We highly recommend them. Dr. M is truly an expert. After our recurrent pregnancy losses, he provided exceptional, highly personalized care as we tried to grow our family. Dr. M spent countless hours with us, clearly explaining procedures and options and patiently answering our many questions. We never felt rushed, and he always listened. He also performed several procedures with extraordinary precision and skill. Dr. M’s nurses and medical assistants were kind, helpful, and very supportive, making us feel like part of a family, especially since fertility treatment meant spending so much time at the clinic! We are thrilled and grateful to have recently graduated from AFI with a successful pregnancy. Dr. M is known as Austin’s best fertility doctor for good reason—you cannot go wrong choosing him!

I had the best experience w AFI! Graduated once again from Dr Ms w my second baby & I will forever be grateful for being able to grow our family! After doing 2 rounds of IVF at a different clinic in town and only having a 1/3 success rate w transfer I wasn’t sure if I would ever get my chaotic loud family that I dreamed of. I got MUCH better results w AFI on all levels: lower levels of hormones used, higher follicle and embryo yield and 2/2 transfer success rate! Cannot say enough good things about Dr M and his entire staff.

I waited more than a year before reflecting on the treatment I received. Pros: Dr. M is knowledgeable and communicates treatment processes and options well. You may need some familiarity with medical terminology to understand the discussions and treatment plans. The staff are also well trained and knowledgeable. Cons: His bedside manner left me feeling hurt and seemed intended to make me feel small. This was not a side effect—it was the goal. The worst part? Watching me struggle seemed to make him feel powerful.

In 2023, another fertility specialist told us we would never be able to have children. On July 1, 2025, we welcomed adorable twins. None of this would have been possible without Dr. Moghadam. Updated Review—Our Complete Journey Now that our fertility journey is complete, I want to share a fuller account of our experience with Dr. M and his clinic. First, I acknowledge that Dr. M is a highly skilled physician. From the beginning, he was very candid about our treatment options and created a clear plan based on my diagnosis and insurance coverage. We completed one IVF cycle and froze two viable embryos. At the time, we hoped to have two children, and Dr. M presented two options: complete a second IVF cycle, possibly paying out of pocket and submitting a claim for reimbursement, or try intrauterine insemination (IUI). Although I was initially skeptical about IUI, especially given our previous experience, Dr. M encouraged us to consider it—and thankfully, it worked after two cycles. Although we are deeply grateful that we ultimately achieved our goal of becoming parents, I also want to be candid about the challenges we faced. Dr. M's bedside manner was very disappointing. While I believe this field requires compassion—and he does show some—I would not describe the overall patient experience he provides as warm or compassionate. At 8 weeks pregnant, I went through an especially difficult period when I experienced heavy bleeding. Unable to reach the clinic during business hours, I texted the emergency number Dr. M had provided. He replied, "This is an inappropriate use of the cell phone. My staff will call you back." When I was seen at the clinic, he told me in a very dismissive tone, "Your baby is fine, just as I thought," without showing any empathy for the deeply distressing situation. Nine months later, we welcomed a healthy baby boy. After a difficult pregnancy and postpartum period, we felt our family was complete. Because the clinic still had two frozen embryos, I contacted them to ask about other options. Unfortunately, getting a clear answer from the appropriate staff was frustrating and confusing. I had to work very hard to obtain any concrete information. Eventually, I spoke with Natasha at the front desk, who was always kind, helpful, and compassionate and deserves special recognition. After that conversation, Dr. M called me directly. Rather than addressing my concerns or acknowledging the poor communication, he defended his staff, emphasized their ability to work from home, and noted the clinic's strong overall performance. He implied that the issue may have been how I asked my questions rather than the quality of the responses. Ultimately, we retrieved our embryos from the laboratory, whose staff were professional and kind throughout the process. In summary, although I am very grateful to Dr. M for helping us become parents, I cannot overlook the emotional impact of an experience that often felt transactional and lacking in compassion. If your insurance allows you to choose a clinic where you can receive more empathetic and supportive care, I encourage you to explore your options.

My wife and I had a very positive experience working with Dr. Moghadam and his team at Austin Fertility Institute. We chose reciprocal IVF, and from the beginning Dr. Moghadam was highly respectful of and knowledgeable about our path to parenthood. I had long suffered from painful periods, and Dr. Moghadam was the first physician to correctly diagnose my endometriosis. He referred me to an excellent surgeon for a myomectomy, which laid the foundation for a successful transfer. I recovered well after surgery, and we had a healthy baby after our first embryo transfer. When we decided to grow our family, we returned to Austin Fertility Institute. After another successful embryo transfer, we are expecting our second baby in November. The care felt truly personalized. Dr. Moghadam always answered our questions patiently and guided us through every step. Although wait times were sometimes long, it was because he gave each patient the time and attention they needed, which we greatly appreciated. His staff were also very kind and helpful. They were especially understanding of my fear of needles and helped me become accustomed to regular blood draws, making them easier to tolerate. Fertility treatment can be overwhelming, but having a respectful, compassionate, and caring team makes all the difference. We are deeply grateful to Austin Fertility Institute for helping us build our family.

Highly recommend AFI and Dr. M! After years of trying to conceive with several different doctors and clinics (mostly due to us moving cities) and trying varying levels of treatments with no success, we found Dr. M to be the most straightforward and informative doctor we saw. He was able to explain new things that other doctors hadn’t, was upfront about IVF being the right option for us without being pushy, and explained why the other treatments we’d had didn’t work. Dr. M and his amazing staff were professional, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire process. We were lucky to have success on our first round of IVF and just celebrated our baby’s first birthday. The AFI team is great and we will definitely return when we’re ready to add to our family.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to Dr. M and his staff! First, he is very direct and honest, exactly what you want during a fertility journey. I appreciate that he does not avoid any issue and presents all the facts about your particular journey up front. His knowledge and concern for patients show how passionate he is about his work. My husband and I had tried to have a child for 6 years and were close to giving up when we met Dr. M. We were very calm about it, which may have puzzled him, but he took us seriously and suggested trying IUI first while leaving the decision to us. Based on the statistics we received, we chose IUI, but it did not work, which was not AFI's fault. Dr. M gave us the success rate for another IUI and said IVF would offer our best chance given my age. Again, he left the decision to us. We chose IVF because I felt my husband and I were running out of time to start a family. My first IVF cycle and embryo transfer worked. Nine months later, I delivered our healthy baby boy. It was a dream come true. When our son was one, we contacted Dr. M again for another embryo transfer. My second transfer also worked, and we are now about to welcome our baby girl. I am extremely grateful that Dr. M took us seriously and helped us build the family we have today. His factual approach and Chicago Bears conversations certainly helped us feel at ease. I must also mention his excellent staff. Thank you to Dr. M and his wonderful team, from the front desk to his assistant, nurses, and laboratory, for everything they did for us. I will always recommend AFI!

Dr. Moghadam is truly a rare Doctor. Your not just a number your his patient and Once you get to know him he truly cares for you. He is the only doctor at his clinic please be patient. He runs all the test, does the scan, does surgeries, etc. also His staff is amazing as well. I am forever grateful to Dr Moghadam and all he has done for my husband and I

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Moghadam to anyone in the area needing fertility support. I never felt uncertain about my treatment. He and the nurses explained the protocols, and the surgical center staff were also very kind and professional. He is the only specialist in his practice, so I did not feel that I had many interim appointments before seeing the doctor. However, please understand that this can mean reasonable wait times and a need to keep appointments. Depending on your work, you may need to plan ahead. He helped us find a path to parenthood, and we are expecting a baby this summer. If we still lived in the area, we would plan to see him again!
