Natalie Crawford, MD, completed her undergraduate education at Auburn University, graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science and developing a strong interest in how nutrition and lifestyle factors affect reproductive health. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, and completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of North Carolina while earning a master's degree in clinical research. Dr. Crawford is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She is proud to serve as a clinical assistant professor of women's health at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin and enjoys teaching the next generation of physicians. She is deeply committed to supporting and advancing other women and co-founded the Pinnacle Conference, a women's medical leadership organization.

    I came here in 2022 and completed all the injections. They checked my husband's sample, and everything was fine. They told me they could retrieve only one egg, and they did not even try to help us. The next morning, I received an email saying the embryo had not progressed. I believe they did not even try to help us; they only wanted our money and told me I could do another cycle. Why would I waste more time and money when they retrieved only one egg? I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. It was a waste of time and money.

    I have been a patient of Dr. Skillern for more than 6 years. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Dr. Skillern, Dr. Crawford, and their exceptional team provided outstanding knowledge, expertise, and unwavering support throughout our IVF journey. From the initial consultation to the present, every step reflected their professionalism and attentiveness. We appreciate the time and effort they devote to the science to help many families achieve their goals. IVF is a difficult road, and Fora accompanies you throughout it. I am extremely grateful that their dedication and compassion helped us fulfill our dream of growing our family. We will always be thankful for the positive results we have achieved so far. I also want to add the following comments in response to reviews I have seen. Always remember: 1—IVF is very expensive, and Fora cannot change that. This is the reality in our country. Most insurance companies do not cover fertility treatment. That said, full payment is required before any services are provided. Fora is a business, not a nonprofit. 2—I never heard Dr. Crawford or Dr. Skillern make any promises. IVF is like gambling in Las Vegas. You may win, but nothing is guaranteed. 3—Fora is a fertility clinic, not a psychotherapy center. I have never encountered rude or uncaring staff, but you must remember that IVF is difficult and you need support outside the clinic. In summary, Fora is the best, and I feel very fortunate to be a patient :)

    The women at this fertility clinic are wonderful! They treated me so well and made the process feel very smooth and easy. I came to them for fertility preservation before starting chemotherapy. Dr. Skillern gave me all the facts and explained every step of the process very clearly. The lovely women at Fora took care of everything else, and I felt very well cared for. Dr. Skillern is truly wonderful, and it is clear that she cares deeply about her work. Other amazing women who helped me were Melissa, Rikki, Savannah, Hannah, and Lindsey. They were all outstanding and kept my spirits light throughout my journey with them.

    Absolutely wonderful! The doctors are magnificent and wonderful and very helpful for someone who had all the questions. Rikki is also an absolute treat every time you get to work with her. There are so many things that are quite scary with this entire space of fertility, but with the amazing staff at Fora you would never know it. They were super up beat, friendly every time we were there and you can tell they all love what they do. I am very happy my doctor recommended them, as the entire journey felt exciting and fun vs. some stories I have heard from my girlfriends. Highly, highly recommended and if I could give 10 stars I would.

    I am extremely happy with my experience freezing eggs at Fora. I felt fully cared for by the staff, who were all women until the day of my retrieval, when the laboratory specialist and anesthesiologist were very kind men. Given the sensitive and female-specific nature of the process, I found it reassuring to receive support and leadership from women throughout. Dr. Skillern, Dr. Crawford, Rikki, and all the nurses were attentive, knowledgeable, capable, and helpful. I never had to wait long and was always in and out quickly. Fora works efficiently without compromising care. On the first night of injections, I had to call the after-hours service twice. The woman who helped me promptly returned my calls and was very patient and helpful. It is also worth noting that I felt appropriately prepared for the process because of the materials provided by the Fora team, including videos explaining egg freezing and IVF and instructional videos on preparation and injections. I give Fora my highest recommendation. Thank you to the entire staff for making my experience as smooth and pleasant as possible. I will always be grateful!

    Today I graduated from the fertility clinic and officially moved on to an OB-GYN! The entire staff were patient and highly professional throughout. From the moment my husband and I met Dr. Crawford and shared our goal, she was very honest with me about the whole process. Nurse Hannah and the rest of the team came to feel like family. I cannot wait to send them photos of our miracle baby. I am deeply grateful to everyone at Fora for this life-changing experience.

    Fora Fertility saved us. We began IVF in Dallas. After our second egg retrieval, we were told surrogacy was our only option because of an endometrial issue. After consulting several doctors, we met Dr. Crawford. We had learned about her through her fertility masterclass years earlier but never considered her because her clinic was in Austin. Three years later, nearly hopeless and wanting a doctor who truly believed in us, we scheduled a consultation. From our first meeting, Dr. Crawford treated us as people, not numbers. She had thoroughly reviewed three years of notes, tests, and laboratory data beforehand and came prepared with informed questions. Unlike others, she did not see surrogacy as the next step and immediately made a plan for transfer. After a minor procedure and a more natural FET approach, we transferred one embryo, and it worked. I am now 12 weeks pregnant!! Words cannot describe the team's compassion and flexibility, especially given our long travel. Dr. Crawford, her nurse Hannah, and wonderful staff including Rikki and Melissa made a lasting impact on our lives. If you want a clinic that will truly work alongside you, we highly recommend Fora Fertility.

    The staff at Fora Fertility, along with Dr. Crawford and Dr. Skillern, are amazing! I was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed to freeze my eggs as quickly as possible before starting treatment. The staff, especially Hannah, were very kind and made sure I worked with the cancer organization to obtain medication reimbursement. As a 34-year-old cancer patient, I ultimately froze 15 mature eggs. This gave me tremendous hope. They gave me that hope.

While any fertility experience has ups and downs because of the nature of the process, it is clear that this team truly cares about its patients.     My husband and I had been trying to conceive for two years, but unfortunately my experience at this clinic was disappointing and stressful. First, I scheduled a brief online consultation that lasted about 10 minutes. The doctor showed us slides with conception statistics by age and essentially said that because we were young and healthy, we should not have difficulty becoming pregnant. I had to pay a specialist copay in advance, and the consultation felt impersonal and unhelpful. Next, I scheduled a FemVue and ultrasound and had to prepay $500. During the examination, the doctor briefly said my uterus looked like a 'heart-shaped uterus or a septum' and left without explaining what that meant. If you have ever searched those terms online, you know how frightening they sound. This caused significant unnecessary stress and anxiety, especially because I received no explanation or reassurance. We also paid $200 for my husband's laboratory testing but never received any results or even a follow-up call. After my insurance lapsed, the clinic wanted another $300 for a brief online follow-up simply to discuss results. At that point, I began to feel they prioritized billing over patient care. After obtaining new insurance, I went to another clinic that was actually in network. The experience was completely different. The new doctor met with us in person for 30 minutes, thoroughly reviewed our trying-to-conceive history and health, and developed a clear treatment plan. She ordered a hysterosalpingogram (HSG), not FemVue, explained why, and later confirmed by ultrasound that my uterus was completely normal, with no septum or abnormal shape. She even said FemVue is often billed as an outpatient procedure because reimbursement is better, although it does not provide much useful diagnostic information. Looking back, I feel misled and frustrated by the first clinic's approach. I want others to be cautious, especially if you feel pushed into expensive procedures without clear explanations or next steps. Fertility treatment is already an emotional journey, and patients deserve thorough communication and ethical care.

    Warning: Fora's $500 rescheduling fee is outrageous. On June 24, 2025, I woke with such a severe sore throat that I could barely speak. I struggled to go to school and may have had a fever on the first day of COVID. My partner had already left home. Halfway through the scheduled time, I felt dizzy and hoarse, so I called Fora, explained that I was unwell, and told the staff member how long I had waited for this first appointment. The woman on the phone could hear that I was hoarse, but she told me that because my online appointment was scheduled for that time and had already begun, I could not see the doctor. I would have to reschedule, prepay $500, and still pay for the missed appointment. I do not know how to rate Fora because other clinics have been more understanding and humane. If a doctor and clinic cannot understand or accommodate a patient who is very ill, what does that say about their service and quality of care? I emailed the office but received no reply, so I want everyone to know.

    We are very grateful for the excellent care at Fora Fertility. Miscarriage has been the most difficult experience my husband and I have faced, but our experience at Fora helped us tremendously. We felt that Dr. Skillern, Dr. Crawford, and all the nurses/coordinators genuinely cared about us. They answered all our questions and responded almost immediately to every portal message. We sincerely recommend them to anyone seeking fertility treatment.

    Fora was a breath of fresh air during our long medical journey. At our previous clinic, we did not feel heard and struggled to find anyone who could answer our questions. They often started treatment without identifying the root cause. At Fora, they quickly identified the issue and efficiently managed every stage of treatment. They ran on time, which was very helpful because I had to miss work for appointments, and they answered questions quickly and thoroughly. Their communication systems are excellent, and they consistently follow through. This made an otherwise stressful process much easier to manage!     We are pregnant! My husband and I are incredibly grateful to Fora Fertility for giving us the tools, guidance, and expertise we needed to conceive. During my initial consultation with Dr. Crawford, she diagnosed me with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which helped me understand that my irregular periods were the reason I had been unable to conceive. At first, I hesitated to visit a fertility clinic because I feared they would pressure me into IVF even if other options were available. Fortunately, Fora Fertility carefully investigated the underlying causes of our infertility. Based on the results, I chose timed intercourse treatment, which I had not even known existed. The goal was to precisely control ovulation by supporting each phase of my menstrual cycle. It was the least invasive option, and it truly worked. We became pregnant after our first treatment!! As my experience shows, every situation is different, but Fora Fertility takes the time to ensure you receive the best treatment plan. I love the intimate atmosphere of this boutique clinic. Everyone knew me, which made it feel personal. I learned that not all fertility doctors are endocrinologists, but my primary doctor, Dr. Crawford, and covering doctor, Dr. Skillern, are both double board-certified. I believe this was crucial for interpreting my test results, providing the best treatment plan, and ensuring every step was handled properly. Special thanks to my nurse, Hannah, who was immensely helpful throughout treatment and early pregnancy, patiently answered my many questions, and responded through the online portal within 24 hours. I hope my experience gives more people the confidence to contact Fora Fertility for a consultation, because it truly helped us realize our dream of becoming parents!

    Freezing my eggs at Fora was one of the smartest choices I have made for myself and my health! Dr. Skillern, Dr. Crawford, Rikki, and the entire nursing team made me feel completely at ease throughout the process. I loved the clinic's home-like atmosphere, received excellent care, and achieved surprisingly good results. Fora made a very stressful egg-freezing process much easier.     We spent years at another large fertility clinic without success. Exhausted, disappointed, and heartbroken, we were close to giving up. A year later, we asked our insurer whether any other Austin-area clinics were in-network so we could consider transferring. Fora was on the list, so we consulted Dr. Crawford to see whether our previous doctor had missed anything and whether pregnancy might still be possible. Dr. Crawford carefully reviewed years of fertility records and spoke with us warmly, thoughtfully, and honestly. She believed our individualized plan might have missed some opportunities for adjustment. The consultation renewed our hope, and after several in-depth discussions, we decided to try IVF once more. Transferring to Fora was absolutely one of our best decisions. Every staff member is kind and professional. Dr. Crawford and her nursing team—Hannah, Savannah, and Mel—work seamlessly and are always on time. I especially appreciated early-morning monitoring and bloodwork because the scheduling made it possible before work. Their portal is easy to use, and the nurses promptly answer questions. They treated me as a person, not a number. Although Dr. Crawford was my primary physician, we also met Dr. Skillern during egg retrieval and several monitoring appointments. She and her nurse Rikki were equally wonderful. In summary, after six years of infertility treatment, I am writing this while holding my healthy ten-month-old baby. Without Dr. Crawford, we would not have this precious child. Her expertise and personalized care changed our lives, and words cannot express my gratitude to her and her team.     I really loved working with the Fora team on my fertility journey. I didn’t know much about fertility treatments the first time I stepped into their office, but I immediately felt welcomed by everyone. As a beginner to this world, I truly appreciated the information and educational content provided before treatment began—it helped me feel confident and mentally prepared for what was ahead.     Dr. Crawford, Dr. Skillern, and the entire staff at Fora are amazing! Over the past eight years, I have visited nearly every clinic in Austin, and Fora is unquestionably the best. They are candid, evidence-based, humble, hopeful, and determined to help patients achieve the dreams they have for their families. I will always be a devoted supporter of Dr. Skillern and Dr. Crawford. They create miracles through science with grace and compassion. At Fora, we completed intrauterine insemination (IUI), two egg-freezing cycles, and one in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle. From beginning to end, we received exceptional care, empathy, and patience. My husband and I ask many questions, and everyone always explained every process and medication patiently and thoroughly.     Dr. Skillern was terrible. My OB-GYN referred me to her after finding that my AMH was low. At the time, Dr. Skillern was preparing to move to her new clinic, Flora. I felt ignored, dismissed, not taken seriously, and treated inhumanely. I underwent many painful tests because that was their protocol. During one test, one of my fallopian tubes did not show fill and spill. Her response was, 'Maybe it was an issue with the nurse, or the scanner malfunctioned.' She never said, 'Let's try again for a clearer view and determine the cause.' I could only take her word for it. I am a plus-size woman. At the end of every video consultation, she would say, 'It would be good if you could lose weight.' She never said, 'We could try this or that.' It was always, 'You are too fat and need to lose weight.' I finally had enough and wrote an email explaining that I was sorry I was not her target clientele and that my OB-GYN had referred me because she was the local expert in treating women with low AMH. Her response was appalling. Six years later, I am still not pregnant. To this day, I regret meeting her. She never took my condition seriously. She was more focused on building her new boutique brand for affluent women like herself and her partner. If you are a woman of color or even slightly overweight, do not go to this clinic or see Dr. Skillern.
