I completed my egg-freezing process with Dr. Lin and her team, and overall I had a very positive experience. Everyone was friendly and empathetic and showed genuine support throughout the process. My procedure went smoothly. I truly appreciated the attention to detail that ensured I felt comfortable on the day of surgery, from warm blankets to someone holding my hand when I was nervous. Research the process and prepare your questions. Dr. Lin is very knowledgeable and answered all of mine. I am sharing many details of my journey in case they help people understand what the process is like, but everyone's circumstances are different. I began with one week of oral contraceptives, then started hormone injections. I registered with Alto Pharmacy to obtain all my injectable hormone medications. They delivered everything to my door and were very easy to work with. You receive an email through the app containing links to videos on self-injection, which was very helpful. I found it helpful to ice my abdomen before injections. Menopur stings considerably. It is not as bad if injected very slowly, and icing the area beforehand helped me tolerate the stinging. Gonal-F was my favorite because it required no mixing and did not sting. Cetrotide was also fine. The trigger shot was fine, but because it was so close to the procedure, I did feel more discomfort and bloating. All your results populate in the Artemis Portal app. You also receive emails, appointment reminders, and blood-test results in the app, which is very helpful. I attached the results shown in the app so you can see the format and the data you will receive. This was my timeline: March 28: Started birth control pills April 7: Ultrasound and blood tests to ensure I had not ovulated April 11: Started injections April 15: Ultrasound and blood draw to assess my response to the hormones April 19: Ultrasound and blood tests April 21: Ultrasound and blood tests, dual trigger injections April 22: Ultrasound only, final trigger injection April 23: Procedure (13 mature eggs retrieved; my AMH was approximately 2.4) I am now recovering, which has been difficult for me. Walking is difficult, I have intermittent cramps, and my lower abdomen hurts. I feel nauseated every night, which I believe is due to hormonal fluctuations. This is not an easy process, but I am glad I did it and am pleased with the result because my right ovary initially did not respond to the hormones. Dr. Lin and her team did an outstanding job! Definitely give yourself more than a week to recover. I was told I would feel much better the next day, but that was actually the most painful day, even with pain medication. Recovery is slower than you may expect. Good luck!

I highly recommend Dr. Lin and her clinic. Thanks to her extensive knowledge, hard work, and innovative approach, we conceived a child during our first IVF cycle. Everyone at the clinic was professional. I appreciated seeing the same doctor at every visit. They all made me feel cared for and loved. Do not waste time. Simply meet them, and you will see the enormous difference from other clinics.

First, if you are reading this review and have come to RMA, your journey has probably not been easy. I know how important it is to trust your doctor and care team during this process. After considering egg freezing for years, I was fortunate to find Dr. Liu and his team this year. For context, I am 32 and was first tested at SRM at age 28. When I seriously researched the process, I could not reach SRM by phone, while RMA Seattle responded immediately and scheduled me quickly! I absolutely loved the Bellevue and Seattle staff; they were all very kind, welcoming, and helpful. Paulina was wonderful, and Dr. Liu was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Repeated blood draws are not enjoyable, but somehow the women made me smile every time. In terms of location, completing downtown Seattle monitoring appointments before work was perfect for me. Parking in a garage through SpotHero cost only $4. I was also deeply impressed by the brand-new Bellevue office, where I will have my egg-freezing procedure today. It is extremely clean and modern, with warm, feminine decor. If I had to choose a place for my future children to spend time, this would be it! This will be my second egg-freezing cycle with Dr. Liu, and the first produced excellent results. Although it was not easy, the RMA team made the process much smoother. I did not hesitate to undergo it twice with them. Becoming a mother has always been my dream, and I am grateful that I found RMA to help make it come true one day.

The nurses and staff were kind and very good at explaining the process and next steps to us.

TL;DR - If your AMH is low, indicating diminished ovarian reserve, this is the best place for you! This will be long, but I believe sharing everything will help others make a better decision to come here. I am 39 with extremely low AMH. Women with low AMH respond less strongly to IVF medications. My attempt at SRM failed; we could grow only 3 follicles. They grew too large, which is associated with poor egg quality, and too quickly. I unexpectedly ovulated on day six, and the cycle/attempt was canceled. We changed clinics several times, including trying ORH, which was terrible, and ultimately came to RMA—thankfully. After meeting with Dr. Lin at RMA, we believed DuoStim, 2 IVF stimulations in one cycle, was the best option to increase my chances of obtaining more eggs, thereby increasing our chance of euploid embryos. Learn about the benefits of DuoStim. Follow Dr. Lin's recommendations. Dr. Lin advised me to undergo fertility acupuncture, with a particular focus on egg quality. Women receiving acupuncture have a 10% higher birth rate than those who do not. I underwent acupuncture for approximately 1.5-2 months before retrieval, and we strongly believe it contributed to our success; the other contributors were Dr. Lin and her team. Also, Taylor and Annika, whom you will see and speak with frequently, are outstanding and genuinely care about their patients. Cycle 1 Dr. Lin knew we needed an approach different from what happened during my failed SRM cycle, and this made an enormous difference. We obtained 5 mature eggs during the first stimulation. This is a huge result for someone with low AMH! It was a 60% increase from my previous failed cycle. Of 5 eggs, 4 fertilized; of those 4, 3 became blastocysts; and of the 3 blastocysts, 2 were euploid—perfect. I was extremely pleased with these results. Cycle 2 This time we obtained 7 eggs in total—a major increase! 5 fertilized, and 3 became blastocysts. We are still a few days away from the final results of the second round. I am very excited for implantation and pregnancy! Words cannot express how pleased I am with our results. Thank you to Dr. Lin and her outstanding team.

Disclaimer: I am a new patient but never received any treatment. They charge $100 before any appointment, and it is nonrefundable. I can accept a no-show fee, but charging in advance is unacceptable to me. You lost a potential patient over $100.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lin and her team. She provided comprehensive, thoughtful, personalized care, and we were thrilled to become pregnant after our first embryo transfer with her. I had previously undergone two embryo transfers at PNWF using PGT-tested 5AA embryos, but both failed. I then sought a second opinion from Dr. Lin. Our first embryo transfer was in 2022 and resulted in our healthy daughter, so the next two failures left me deeply discouraged and confused. We had only one embryo remaining, and my previous reproductive endocrinologist attributed the failures to embryo quality, suggesting at most a hysteroscopy for further evaluation. Dr. Lin took a completely different and far more comprehensive approach. She recommended a full evaluation, including a pelvic MRI covered by my insurance, which ultimately identified the underlying issue. Importantly, this problem could not have been found by hysteroscopy alone, meaning that if we had stayed at PNWF, we likely would have experienced another failed transfer. Dr. Lin also performed a hysteroscopy as part of her thorough workup. With clear guidance and appropriate treatment, we moved our final embryo from PNWF to RMA, and the subsequent transfer was successful. Throughout the process, Dr. Lin and my excellent care coordinator Carla were always willing to answer my questions. This was essential for treatment planning, monitoring, and my peace of mind. I felt seen as a whole person and cared for attentively. The embryo transfer itself was also a beautiful experience. Dr. Lin, Carla, the embryologist, and the entire staff brought great enthusiasm to the occasion. Their compassion, warmth, and positivity made the day special and memorable. I will always be grateful to Dr. Lin and her team for everything they did for me and my family and for the care and support they provided throughout.

At our first appointment, a picture suddenly fell off the wall and hit my husband in the head, leaving a bump for several days. We should have realized then how bad this clinic was. Communication is extremely poor. They repeatedly told me a patient coordinator would contact me, but no one ever did. We consulted five clinics, and RMA had by far the worst communication. Do not go here! They do not understand how valuable every week is during this process. Worse, 5.5 weeks after our last appointment, my husband and I took time off work for a follow-up, only to be told that RMA did not want to accept us as patients because of our prior health issues. We did not need to take time off work to receive that answer. When scheduling, I repeatedly emphasized that we only wanted to know whether we qualified for treatment—yet we waited another week and a half and had to miss work just to be rejected. Our experience with Pinnacle Fertility was much better.

If you have not started treatment and hope to build your family quickly, consider another clinic. So far, our experience at RMA has been very disappointing. Operations seem disorganized and internal communication is poor, causing repeated errors and confusion. One major issue involved a routine screening sample that was supposedly sent to the laboratory. The process took far longer than expected. Despite repeated follow-ups, we received vague replies such as ‘we are understaffed’ or ‘it takes time.’ Because of the prolonged delay, we contacted the lab directly and learned it had never received the sample. Several weeks were wasted. This was especially concerning because the screening result was required before beginning intrauterine insemination (IUI). Timing matters in fertility care, and unnecessary delays add enormous stress to an already sensitive process. We have now started treatment and hope the process improves. If it does not, we will have to consider changing providers and starting over.

They take weeks to return calls or messages, and even when you ask, they never tell you what to do next. Communication is extremely poor.

Nearly every interaction was exhausting. I am a queer single parent undergoing IVF treatment. Although Kathleen Lin has a good bedside manner, that is essentially the only positive thing I can say about the experience. Every professional misgendered me, and scheduling, coordination, and communication of information and expectations were a complete mess. Management of my medication procurement was terrible. They said everything would be covered by insurance and gave me samples to begin my IVF cycle to 'get me through the first few days' until the prescription was approved. Then they failed to follow up on the approval and were extremely slow to respond after I took over coordinating among the pharmacy, my insurance company, and RMA. Because of the medication shortage, I nearly had to restart my cycle. In addition, there was extensive confusion about known, directed, and intimate partner donors, and they made many assumptions about my gender and sexual orientation and about my known donor's gender, sexual orientation, and marital status. This also led my known donor to undergo a series of unnecessary tests at RMA that actually had to be performed at a sperm bank. Fortunately, they refunded the cost because it was their error. Ultimately, I am still disputing the matter between them and the insurance company. My insurer says there is no record of my payment to RMA, so I cannot prove I met my deductible. Honestly, I have had enough. No embryos implanted successfully during this round, and I am considering going out of network to avoid another headache.

Dr. Kat Lin is absolutely one of the best doctors I have ever worked with. I transferred to her from RMA Northern California, and the entire process was very smooth and supportive. From the beginning, Dr. Lin stood out through her attention to detail, deep expertise, and genuine care. She takes the time to understand your unique circumstances and explains every step of treatment clearly, with empathy and care. What impressed me most was her instinct to help—you can feel that she is genuinely invested in your success and well-being. She never makes you feel rushed or dismissed; she treats you as a person, not a case.

I used them for remote monitoring for another RMA clinic. It took them more than a week to send the results, and they would not discuss the ultrasound findings with me at all, even though I paid $700 in cash that day. I called daily and left messages in multiple voicemail boxes. A month later, they tried to send me an additional $300 bill. This made me wonder whether the entire procedure cost $300 or they were trying to take another $300. The bill was highly questionable, and I felt like a number to them rather than a real person with a frightening medical condition.

Working with Dr. Lin was completely different from my experiences at previous fertility clinics. Her attention to detail, caring manner, and dedication to finding the treatment best suited to me were unmatched. I felt supported from start to finish. Although the process was not easy, I felt like a person rather than a number at every step. After becoming pregnant with Dr. Lin's help, we are now looking for an OB-GYN, and I am certain we will choose her again if we want more children in the future. The RMA staff were very helpful in answering our questions, appointments were convenient, and I felt that the quality of treatment exceeded my expectations.

2025 update: We did another transfer in 2023 and welcomed our baby girl. Our family is finally complete, all thanks to Dr. Lin and her team. Choosing her for our care was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Thank you for supporting us throughout and changing our lives. 💜 In 2019, Dr. Lin and her team gave us the greatest gift, our daughter. During a very difficult time, they made us feel cared for and informed about our options. Throughout our IVF cycle, they were kind, attentive, and helpful. They are a special group of people, and we will always be grateful for everything they did for our family.

This was the worst medical experience I have ever had. I advise everyone to avoid this clinic. What should have been a hopeful, attentive treatment process became heartbreaking. A terrible place.

This review applies only to the scheduling coordinator who books consultations. I called at 8:37 this morning. The woman answered only with ‘Hello?’ and made me wonder whether I had the right number. She appeared to be working remotely from home. She was extremely rude and would not let me schedule because I had only my insurance card, not my partner’s. Every personal question came with an attitude. When she asked whether I had his card, I said no because I had not prepared it. I asked why my card was insufficient or whether I could pay out of pocket, but she kept saying ‘No!’ She told me to call back with the card and hung up without explaining why his card was needed or asking whether I had other questions. The lack of compassion and respect was enough to make me reconsider becoming an RMA patient, even though I really wanted to see Dr. Lin. I did not catch her name because she hung up. I only know she was from India. I hope these recorded calls are reviewed, because if this is how you want your business represented, no thank you.

RMA’s Seattle/Bellevue clinic is an excellent choice for prospective parents. My experience was smooth and reassuring, and every staff member was kind, understanding, and helpful. They scheduled appointments around my work. The Artemis app was very useful, with fast communication, daily medication reminders, and immediate answers to questions or concerns, even on weekends. I never felt alone or left without answers. The entire team works tirelessly to help make your greatest dream come true. I highly recommend this clinic. Thank you.

With Dr. Lin and her team, I had a very positive egg-freezing experience. From the initial consultation through injections, retrieval, and post-retrieval care, I felt well cared for. I completed most morning monitoring, including blood tests and ultrasounds, at the Seattle office, which was convenient and efficient. The retrieval itself took place at the Bellevue office, a larger clinic with a fully equipped operating room. The clinic portal was very useful for reviewing medication instructions, appointment times, test results, and documents. Email or text alerts would improve it, as I had to log in frequently to check. My retrieval in Bellevue went very smoothly. The doctors and nurses helped me feel comfortable, and the procedure was completed quickly. Recovery was somewhat difficult, but the team was attentive, reassured me, and ensured everything was going well. After the procedure, however, I realized I had considerable medication left. Partly this was because I refilled medication and they added more than requested, but I received no instructions at all for two medications. Insurance covered all my costs, so it did not matter financially, but I would have been more concerned if I had paid out of pocket. I would still recommend this approach to anyone considering egg freezing.

RMA is the best fertility clinic in the greater Seattle area. Many of my friends now choose RMA for IVF instead of other clinics and are very satisfied. Dr. Lin, Dr. Taylor, and Dr. Kala cared for us attentively and genuinely care. The entire IVF and embryo-transfer process was very smooth. Communicating with the team through the app and on-call phone line was very convenient. Note 1: The Seattle and Bellevue care teams are essentially the same. Note 2: You will be asked to pay a refundable deposit, but the billing department may forget to refund it. Our experience with billing was not very good, but we had little interaction with them, so it was manageable.

Unfortunately, I cannot give more than five stars. This review is for Brittany Warker. I called today to ask how to begin my IVF journey, and words cannot express how warm, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful Brittany was. She spent considerable time discussing billing and answering my many questions, making me feel extremely comfortable starting IVF. I never felt rushed or dismissed; she listened and cared. Fertility issues can be emotional, and people like Brittany are angels who reduce stress and add light and joy to the process. Thank you for your guidance and for putting your heart into your work! Sincerely, Eliza Schultz 😊

This review is long overdue. I completed my first cycle and transfer in late 2022, and it was very successful—our baby turns two this week!
    Dec 3, 2025
Overall, I found the quality of care average, but I had real problems with my treatment plan and coordination. I raised them directly with Dr. Lin. She apologized and offered a partial refund because of my dissatisfaction and the coordination details that were missed. I spent hours traveling between home and Bellevue Hospital searching for the medications I needed and ultimately had to miss work because of their specific timing. This happened because their coordinator did not know which medications, doses, and timing I needed. She offered compensation for some of my lost time and effort, but I have received nothing. For months, the clinic has repeatedly brushed me off. I find this very unprofessional. Offering compensation to resolve a problem and then lying to retain me as a patient is not good business. I will not return.

My egg-freezing cycle at RMA Seattle was extremely disappointing. I am 30, with a high AMH and follicle count, but by stimulation day 11, only one dominant follicle remained and all the others were immature. Monitoring was sparse even late in the cycle, with labs every 3-4 days. Medication doses stayed low except for one small increase, and despite the poor response, adjustments were minimal. I was taking 25 IU of Gonal-f, later increased to 37.5 IU, and 75 IU of Menopur. Given how my cycle was progressing, I felt these doses were inadequate. Most concerning was the limited physician involvement. I never spoke with Dr. Lin during the entire cycle. When I asked to discuss the disappointing results, she said she was too busy and would not be available until the following week, while Dr. Paulina was away. Being unable to reach a doctor during an active, failing cycle felt terrible. Egg freezing is not trivial—it is expensive, time-sensitive, and physically and emotionally exhausting. I chose this clinic based on its reviews and expected closer oversight, more responsive care, and direct access to my doctor. Instead, the experience felt rushed, poorly supervised, and impersonal. On a positive note, the nurses and my coordinator were kind, and I am now somewhat less afraid of needles.

I am writing on behalf of my sister to warn other women considering egg freezing at RMA Seattle. My sister is a healthy 30-year-old woman with no underlying conditions, yet her egg-freezing cycle at RMA failed completely, apparently because of underdosing and inadequate medical oversight. I previously froze my own eggs at another clinic, and the difference in the level of care was shocking. Dosing issue: RMA prescribed only 25 IU of Gonal-f daily. By comparison, my standard protocol was 300 IU daily, split into two 150 IU doses. This enormous difference appears to have caused her complete lack of response. Lack of monitoring: By stimulation day 10, RMA had brought her in for monitoring only twice. At my clinic, I had already undergone four ultrasounds and blood draws by day 10 so doses could be adjusted in real time. Because RMA did not monitor her adequately, they did not realize she was not responding until it was too late. No access to a physician: Most upsettingly, she never saw a doctor. When we realized on day 11 that she had only one egg and the entire cycle might be canceled, we asked to speak with a physician. The earliest option offered was a video call one week later—useless in a time-sensitive cycle. My sister injected medication for 11 consecutive days with no benefit and only risk because this clinic failed to monitor and medicate her properly. We are now contacting other clinics (POMA/SRM/PNWF), hoping to salvage the situation. Please do your research before choosing RMA Seattle.

If you are considering IVF treatment, be very cautious. My experience at RMA Seattle was terrible. Communication was extremely difficult, scheduling required dozens of calls, and my medical concerns were ignored. The Seattle manager’s behavior was most concerning. She never disclosed her name, defended an inexperienced front desk employee who did not understand patient needs, and then unilaterally called to cancel my appointment. She contacted my doctor directly without my consent, crossing a professional boundary. This conduct should be audited at the franchise level. When I later requested my records, I found that the report had no physician signature because their baseline data were not based on a physician’s clinical assessment. It also contained a bizarre internal warning: “Patient: Warning—Do Not Schedule.” The Seattle manager is out of control. This raised serious concerns about their administrative practices, handling of patient feedback, and potential discrimination. Ultimately, I chose another provider to ensure the safety and continuity of my IVF treatment.

I am sharing my experience at RMA because it truly changed my fertility journey. I had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Lin and Dr. Keller. I initially underwent IVF at another clinic (SRM) to preserve my eggs, but both cycles failed. Unfortunately, they did not give me a clear explanation or suggest any improvements for future cycles. I felt that my concerns were not fully addressed and that there was no clear follow-up plan. Later, on my OB-GYN's recommendation, I came to RMA to see Dr. Lin. I cannot say enough good things about her. From the beginning, she was dedicated and thoughtful. She explored every possible way to optimize my treatment while remaining realistic and transparent about the expected results. I felt heard, supported, and confident in the treatment plan we developed together. Since transferring to RMA, I have successfully completed two IVF cycles. I am very grateful to Dr. Lin and Dr. Keller. They are excellent physicians, and I highly recommend this clinic.
    Feb 14, 2026
Dr. Lin is wonderful, and Taylor is excellent. This rating is entirely because of the finance and billing team: 1) they are extremely inefficient; 2) they consistently provide inaccurate figures and never acknowledge their mistakes; and 3) there is no transparency. If I transfer from RMA to another provider, it will be entirely because of the billing team.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Lin and the entire RMA team. I did extensive research before choosing her clinic, and I am so glad I chose Dr. Lin. She is not only knowledgeable and highly skilled but also compassionate, understanding, and genuinely caring. From the beginning, I felt that Dr. Lin cared about me. She patiently answered my questions without judgment. She listened carefully and made me feel comfortable asking questions or sharing concerns at any time. Throughout treatment, I always felt seen, heard, and supported. The entire medical team was also very responsive and attentive, which was extremely important to me. They consistently offered support and assistance, making everything easier and more reassuring. I am very pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Dr. Lin and the RMA team.

My wife and I had an excellent experience with Dr. Lin at RMA and want to share our story in hopes of helping others seeking fertility treatment with both expertise and compassion. We drove more than 200 miles for every appointment, but every mile was worthwhile. The distance required commitment, but from our first visit, we knew we had found the right place and a doctor we could trust. Dr. Lin not only has extensive clinical experience but also a calm, reliable manner that made us feel supported through a fertility journey that can often be overwhelming and uncertain. We are currently expecting our second child, and both pregnancies were made possible by Dr. Lin's careful treatment and guidance. That alone speaks to her expertise and diligence. Even more impressive, however, is how she and the RMA team consistently treat each patient as an individual rather than a case. At every stage, we felt heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. For those traveling from far away, the travel, scheduling, and logistics are real challenges, but the results and care we received made it all worthwhile. We would make the same choice again without hesitation and are deeply grateful for the role Dr. Lin and RMA have played in growing our family.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this clinic and cannot recommend it, especially for patients with complex conditions. My situation was complex, and after two ovarian stimulation cycles recommended by Dr. Lin, I felt the clinic conducted no follow-up or investigation and offered no explanation for why they failed or how the treatment plan might be improved. Communication was the biggest problem. My coordinator repeatedly failed to respond, often taking days or even weeks, including during critical periods when I was taking medication. The clinic also seemed to prioritize its internal egg retrieval schedule over patients' natural cycles. If your timing did not fit their schedule, they stopped treatment regardless of how much medication you had already taken. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience.

I highly recommend RMA! My husband and I are very grateful to Dr. Lin, Paulinna, Claudia, and the RMA Seattle and Bellevue teams for the excellent care they provided during multiple egg retrievals and embryo transfers. Throughout our challenging fertility journey, they gave us attentive care, expert guidance, and dependable support. When I had an adverse reaction to ovarian stimulation medication, they made sure my needs were addressed. Even after I was discharged, they remained willing to provide care when I developed an unexpected illness. We look forward to returning to RMA for our next embryo transfer.

Sound Fertility!

I highly recommend Dr. Lin and her team. At age 42, I came to her office hoping for a miracle. She was compassionate and caring throughout my IVF treatment. When I raised health concerns, including the need for pain management, I was also believed and validated. Simply put, Dr. Lin and her team are consummate professionals. I became pregnant at 44 and delivered a healthy baby girl at 45. I am extremely pleased with the outcome!

Dear Doctor, I am Matviiko. On September 8, 2023, I was born smiling, finally seeing the light of day after spending 9 long months in my mother Oksana's womb. Thank you very much for all the help and support during my time at the clinic. We received excellent service from all your staff, especially you. A very kind and professional doctor. Thanks to you and God's help, my family is so happy and complete.

I highly recommend Dr. Lin and her team. I came to her office later in my fertility journey, but Dr. Lin guided me effectively through two egg-freezing cycles with excellent results. I sincerely thank her and her team for their tremendous support, care, and professionalism throughout the process.
