My first call as a new patient was a joke. The person who answered, Karen, showed no basic empathy. She did not ask anything about me or why I wanted to see a doctor and preferred to talk about money. She said I would first pay $50 to schedule, then $300 for a consultation, $300 for an ultrasound, and $2,200 for IUI. It is absurd that an office like this is still operating, and I do not know where the positive reviews come from. When I asked why it cost that much and why she could not check my employer insurance for coverage, she said, "No, you do it." It is sad that people and offices like this forget they are dealing with human beings. I had genuinely wanted to come here, but this first encounter hurt my feelings and made me afraid. I would rather find somewhere with at least a little more compassion. I feel terrible for others who must go through this.

Dr. Margolis is absolutely the best. She is empathetic, current on the latest research, an excellent communicator, and everything you could want in a doctor. I first met her after she joined the clinic, partway through my fertility journey and after I had received some bad results. I was upset and apologized for becoming emotional, joking that she had not signed up to be my therapist. She said she would not have entered fertility medicine if she could not sometimes serve as a part-time therapist because the process is undeniably emotional. That stayed with me. During my time with her, I always felt heard. I was never rushed or made to feel that my ideas were foolish, although she was firm when she believed something was unsafe and always supported her position with research. You often hear that clinics treat you like a number. I had felt that before, but never with Dr. M. She shared our joy when we received good news and our sadness when we did not. Although she remained positive, she never created unrealistic expectations and was always honest. She personally delivered both good and bad news. Her email responses were truly impressive. I had many questions, and they were almost always answered within minutes. I am now 29 weeks pregnant, something I often feared would never happen. My husband and I are extremely grateful to Dr. M and Boca Fertility's amazing care team, especially Taylor, Rachel, Adela, and Jenny. They all made this challenging time much more positive.

I rarely write negative reviews unless an experience is especially shocking. Although our interactions with Dr. Cheri Margolis and her medical team were excellent and transparent, the billing department was a complete nightmare. Before treatment began, Sasha Sosa quickly collected all our deposits, including our insurance deductible, even though we were close to meeting it. By the second deposit, our deductible had been fully met, but she still included it without our noticing. This treatment is already stressful, and patients should not face additional pressure from an inefficient billing department. We began treatment in January. By March, after most insurance claims had been processed, we asked Sasha for an updated itemized ledger. Despite repeated requests, it took three weeks to receive a statement, and none of the insurance payments had been credited to our account. Instead, everything was deducted from our deposits. When we asked about this, Sasha gave no answer and referred us to Mayra Garcia in billing. After one conversation, Mayra promised to investigate, but despite numerous voicemails and emails over four months, we have received no response. Our insurer confirmed that the claims were processed and paid, but it also could not get a response from Mayra. Our insurance representative found the situation unusual and recommended legal assistance because we appeared to have been billed twice. For a procedure in April 2016, we were also asked to pay another deposit without a clear explanation, despite the hospital providing prior authorization and an itemized bill. We escalated the matter to senior management and consulted an attorney, who confirmed that we had a valid legal case. We are now dealing with claims that must be resubmitted because the original submission was incorrect. Despite emailing management almost daily, we still have no updated ledger or timeline for returning our deposits. Depositing such a large sum and being unable to obtain a refund for months is incredibly frustrating. The billing department created needless stress during an already difficult treatment process. Had we read a review like ours, we would have chosen another provider. The positive reviews can be misleading because they do not reflect the billing department's incompetence. If you plan to use insurance here, consider our experience to avoid similar problems.

I am not sure how many women who have not yet had success at a fertility clinic give them five stars, but as a woman going through my fourth IVF cycle after three successful cycles, I cannot praise this practice enough and have complete confidence in them. They worked to understand my baseline, address problems, and adjust medications at the end of each cycle as needed. The nurses, front desk staff, and everyone involved are wonderful. I began my fertility journey in Palm Beach because Fertility Center was recommended to me at the time. Although Michelle Bigelman was wonderful, the billing department was terrible. They also told me I had no insurance benefits when I actually did, so we initially paid out of pocket and were left struggling. It took an enormous effort to finally get reimbursed. In addition, the clinic fee for IVF at Boca Fertility and elsewhere was more than twice as much. That was when I started asking around again, because if I was going through IVF, I wanted to feel very comfortable and confident with the people in the office. I am very grateful to those I know who recommended Boca Fertility and had successful IVF cycles at the clinic.

It feels strange to review a clinic, but here goes. I have been a patient at Boca Fertility since September. I chose them because they had good doctors and a 4.8-star rating. I thought they would be great. They accepted my insurance. I did not immediately qualify for IVF, so they first handled all the standard fertility testing and IUI. They obtained prior authorization from my carrier for all treatment. My carrier paid. Everything was fine. I eventually had to move to IVF, which my carrier covers but requires prior authorization. For some reason, Boca Fertility thought it was a great idea to have me complete every pre-IVF step—watching videos, taking BC, ordering medication, undergoing a trial transfer, and attending the start appointment—only then to surprise me with a self-pay amount that did not include insurance. When I arrived for the start appointment, they conducted an hour and a half of testing, then seated me in a room with a young man from finance and an IVF nurse, presented me with a $20,000 self-pay charge, and misrepresented the facts. I learned that my carrier had not yet approved the authorization. They would not accept partial payment and told me to call my insurance company. I must have looked very gullible that day. They did not apologize until I asked why they had called me in for the appointment without authorization or telling me the status—just pay the fee or, as finance said, “we will not move forward.” Just pay us or solve your own problem. When I left, I called my carrier, and they had never even submitted a prior authorization request. When we confronted them, they suddenly urgently called my carrier and obtained authorization in under 24 hours. I chose not to continue care here. What if they woke me during surgery to say my carrier had not approved anesthesia and demanded payment “or they could not continue”? Lol. The practices at this facility are a joke at best and predatory. If you have insurance, be wary of their practices. Also, if you value your time, know that they do not. Choose wisely. By the way, we really liked Dr. Roberts.

The staff has no empathy for patients. It is entirely about money. I am now seeing another doctor in Boca...

So far, this has truly been a blessing, and my wife and I are very eager to start a family soon! My wife was on birth control for about 20 years and has now been off it for more than two years. Of course, we have been trying to start a family since then and just wanted to make sure everything was okay. Dr. Robert and the staff have been wonderful so far!! They are guiding us in the right direction and preparing us to grow our family. It is a blessing to have such a knowledgeable and highly regarded doctor tell us what we need to do! 😇🥹 Please keep us in your prayers! From the beginning, Boca Fertility Center provided a warm and welcoming environment when I needed it most. They guided me through every step of the fertility process—from testing and retrieval to the final transfer. Dr. Margolis and the rest of the staff provided an incredible support system throughout this deeply emotional journey. I am so grateful that they helped me grow this miracle inside me—I am now almost 20 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby, all thanks to them!

I absolutely must write a wonderful review for Dr. Leah Roberts. I believe she is truly an angel on Earth. Although my husband and I initially sought her help for possible fertility treatment, we ultimately conceived naturally after Dr. Roberts recommended an HSG, which helped clear the way for conception, pun intended. Before the procedure, we had several visits and completed genetic testing and bloodwork. Every visit was highly informative and reassuring. I am now 9 weeks pregnant and have had a total of 3 ultrasounds at Boca Fertility. Although I will transfer back to my original OB, I have truly enjoyed my time with the staff and Dr. Roberts! She has such strong energy and a bright presence around her!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Margolis and the Boca Fertility team. Before choosing a doctor and clinic, others warned me that fertility clinics often make you feel like 'just a number,' but our experience was completely different. From the beginning, I finally felt in control of a journey that had seemed beyond my control. Dr. Margolis is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She took time to guide us through every step and explain all our options and possibilities. The clinic team is excellent and professional and was always helpful when inevitable questions arose. I highly recommend Dr. Margolis and the Boca Fertility team.

I am deeply disgusted by Boca Fertility's unethical conduct. Imagine receiving bills more than a year later for services you had already paid for or were told had been covered. There was no warning or itemization, only demands for payment. This is not only outrageous but may constitute fraud under Florida Statute 501.204, the Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, and the Fair Billing Act under the Federal Trade Commission Act, which prohibit deceptive or misleading billing practices. When I called for clarification, I was treated rudely, and no one took responsibility. The billing department was not merely dismissive but completely unresponsive, as though I was wrong to request transparency. To be clear, sending bills for services a year or more later without a timely explanation violates CMS timely billing standards and basic courtesy. Healthcare is already overwhelming, and infertility treatment is even harder. Financially exploiting patients after the fact when they are most vulnerable is unethical and predatory. Your billing department should be ashamed. If you are a patient here, demand every itemized bill, document everything in writing, and report suspicious billing activity to the Florida Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission.

I am very grateful to Boca Fertility for everything they did during my IVF treatment. Dr. Margolis is the best doctor you could have by your side. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely cares about your outcome. Dr. Roberts is also an excellent doctor at the clinic. We could not have made it through without Dr. Margolis. I had a disappointing experience getting a semen analysis after vasectomy reversal. The collection room was so hot that I was sweating before I began. They provided only a chair, which seemed odd because no one I know collects a sample while sitting. I eventually left. Not recommended.

Do not go here—seriously, do not! This clinic is full of red flags. It is a complete scam. Listen to the negative reviews. I wish I had. You are guaranteed to be misled, dismissed, surprised with unexpected bills, and have your time wasted. Terrible experience. Go elsewhere.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience affected me deeply. I was diagnosed with stage IV endometriosis, which caused my infertility. I trusted Boca Fertility to guide us through this difficult journey and hoped for a smooth process with their support. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. Along with the emotional stress of infertility, I faced constant frustration from poor communication, unclear explanations of the process, and unexpected hidden costs. After eight months of waiting, we finally saw hope, but now must begin again with another provider. Sadly, I have lost trust in Boca Fertility. This experience added more stress and disappointment to an already challenging time. Dr. Margolis is a good physician, but unfortunately she may lose patients because of her staff.

I strongly recommend reading this long review. We left this clinic at the final, billing stage because of poor transparency, hidden fees, and inadequate communication. Other negative reviews compare the experience to buying a car. Ironically, I made the same point to the director, Ms. Melanie, using a home purchase as my comparison, so I am not alone. After visiting in person and making many attempts to resolve our losses, we finally met with Ms. Melanie because we had already spent months at Boca Fertility. We explained our concerns, and she reassured us, but a week later the same problems remained. Their nurses are inexperienced, and you must constantly pursue them to obtain billing and approvals. They wasted 8 months of our time and money and crushed our dreams. This clinic caused more stress than infertility itself. Do not come here. I repeatedly received incorrect or incomplete information, especially about insurance coverage and billing. Boca Fertility's back-and-forth communication, billing, and clinical guidance were unacceptable. Staff gave me inconsistent and inaccurate insurance information. During today's conversation, Ms. Melanie interrupted me, prevented me from fully explaining, and implied that the poor communication was my fault rather than the staff's. That is nonsense. Until today, I was never told that I had my own patient portal in addition to my wife's. All communication, including the poor communication, occurred through my wife's portal. Although I signed messages under my name in Carolina's portal and Ms. Melanie acknowledged reading them carefully, she never clarified this crucial point. Today she even called my wife back with my username and password, proving I had never received them. I am extremely frustrated by Ms. Melanie's refusal to accept responsibility for misinformation from RN Michelle and others. Her comment about my copay—‘Oh, that is cheaper than most people pay’—was dismissive and unacceptable. Whether the amount is $20 or $200 is irrelevant. What matters is that staff perform their duties correctly and provide accurate information. It is unacceptable to keep implying that this is what RN Michelle told me when I logged into the Quest portal and could not see my prescription or communicate with my insurer. Again, my insurer does not charge me for preventive or screening blood work. Boca Fertility's excuses and insistence were dismissive and nearly disrespectful. I have never paid a blood-test copay, including for testing requested by this same clinic. The billing document Ms. Shauna sent through the portal was another example of poor communication. Many spreadsheets did not even apply to my case, yet I was asked to review, understand, and sign nearly $15,000 in financial commitments. Requiring patients to navigate this level of confusion without proper explanation is unreasonable and irresponsible. These issues require an in-person discussion. Boca Fertility damaged my trust in the entire process and caused enormous emotional stress while my family was already struggling. In fact, its mishandling of my case was harder to bear than the shocking medical news we received earlier this year. A fertility clinic that causes stress through hidden fees and unwillingness to work with insurance, losing sight of its purpose, reveals a fundamental problem. Dr. Margolis deserves a better team. These staff were so disorganized that the final process contained countless inconsistencies. It is a disgrace.

My gynecologist recommended this clinic, and I greatly respect my gynecologist. Unfortunately, my opinion of this clinic is entirely different. I called to schedule an initial consultation but was told I first had to undergo a doctor's 'review.' I did not know what that meant, and they did not explain it clearly. I completed the required forms, requested records from my previous clinic, and so on. When I called the front desk for an update, the woman who answered was extremely unpleasant and seemed annoyed, so I switched to email. The reply said they had not received my previous records, so I requested them again. I later asked for another update but still heard nothing. Two months had passed by then. They showed no urgency and offered no help. I still do not know whether I passed the 'review.' Despite having all my personal information, they would not even let me through the door, so they deserve only 1 star. I cannot imagine what having a procedure here would be like. Strongly not recommended.

It is unbelievable. My wife and I spent a great deal of money trying to have a child and were overjoyed when she finally became pregnant. However, 35 days into the pregnancy, Dr. Margot refused to order blood and urine tests. These should be routine at an insemination clinic, but they were not performed. Three months later, we learned that the pregnancy had been lost because of a bacterial urinary infection. This could allegedly have been identified with simple testing and treated with antibiotics. I have retained all hospital reports and will engage a lawyer to pursue legal action so no one else experiences what we did. It is disgraceful. They care only about taking money and are indifferent to everything else. They are insincere, play with people's emotions, and are unhappy themselves.

Some clinics would not even use our embryos because they wanted to protect their success rates and attract more patients, but Dr. Margolis was willing to give us a chance. Because time was limited, I asked whether they could arrange egg retrieval within my narrow window, and they readily agreed. From Karen at reception to Maritza, Dr. Roberts, Dr. Margolis, Shawna, and Adela, everyone showed genuine kindness and compassion. The care and empathy at this center were exceptional. Their app and seamless communication made the process easy, even with my schedule full of appointments and tests. Words cannot express my gratitude. At the end of my cancer journey, they gave me hope. Even five stars cannot fully convey my appreciation. I wholeheartedly recommend this center: 10/10 in every respect!

My husband and I were initially hesitant to be evaluated by a fertility specialist. We knew little about the process and were unaware of the many treatment plans available. We had an amazing initial visit with Dr. Roberts, where she obtained a thorough history from us both as well as presented us with a clear and informative PowerPoint discussing some of the treatments they offer/suggest. I've never had a physician go to such great lengths to ensure I understood my position and the options available to me. This alone made me feel at ease and eager to continue our journey with their team! Dr. Roberts asked us early on what our goals were and how big of a family we wanted, then titrated our treatment plan to align with those goals. Any lingering anxiety was gradually erased upon each visit. As if there were a better example of this, the team's Physician Assistant Wendy walked me through meditation before one of my exams! Every RN, PA, and Tech was patient, courteous, and supportive throughout each visit. It felt like they were just as invested in our success as we were! They also offered a lot of flexibility, even hosting a Zoom Meeting to discuss test results. Communication was very clear and I always received a same-day response when messaging through their app. Our goals were ultimately accomplished thanks to the team's attention to detail and unending tenacity. Anyone that's hesitant to approach fertility treatment with this team, I assure you that they will provide support and guidance particular to your goal. Our only letdown is that our experience with them ended and we could not continue our OB care with their office!

We began our fertility journey with IUI in 2019 and had a successful live birth with our son. After our first transfer, we are now nine weeks pregnant with our second child through IVF. The staff have supported us throughout our journey. The office is LGBTQI-friendly.

I only began this journey recently, but I have many wonderful things to say about Dr. Perez's practice and staff. They are amazing! Every nurse makes sure you feel safe and comfortable during each test and procedure. I had a procedure today, and Nurse Jenny was the best person to have beside me. She comforted me and helped me understand everything. She was wonderful, and I am grateful that she stayed with me and helped me feel calm and reassured. God bless them for helping patients feel strong through difficult times and struggles. 💕

The staff at Dr. Perez's office are very helpful and treat patients well. They educated me throughout my fertility journey, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to start a family.

I have so many good things to say about this facility. The front-desk staff are always warm and welcoming and make us feel at home. My nurse Rachel made my husband and me feel extremely comfortable on this new journey. She guided us step by step and made everything go smoothly. The rest of the staff were also wonderful and made us feel calm and comfortable during every procedure. They patiently answered all our questions, and best of all, they helped us start our family.
