4E was unfriendly and unhelpful. One nurse leaned comfortably against the wall talking on her phone while I walked back and forth looking for the exit. Another nurse approached with an attitude and asked what I was doing. When I said I was looking for the front desk, she said she knew it was this way. She retrieved a fax and told me to bring a medication list next time, saying it had been very difficult to obtain, although it had been faxed only 4 minutes earlier. The doctor asked what happened. The lazy nurse and medical assistant were mean and did not want to work today! Put away the phones and attitude and work. Professionalism matters for everyone.

Dermatology warning: I would give zero stars if I could. This clinic does not care about patients. They simply follow prompts instead of addressing problems promptly. The care, billing, and treatment results were all terrible. My overall experience with UIC has been acceptable, though not great, but my dermatology experience made me consider switching.

This is the worst endocrinology clinic I have ever seen!! I have had type 1 diabetes for 24 years and have never had so many problems!! I have to beg my care team for what I need to stay alive. When my medications are running low, I notify them two weeks or more in advance, and they still ignore me. They send the wrong medication and then make things difficult for me. I have been waiting for medication since September. If you have diabetes, do not come to this clinic!! I am leaving this awful place as soon as possible!!

The dermatology department is made up of the most incompetent people in the field. Every experience I have had has been terrible, and the doctors do not care about patients. I have repeatedly tried to contact them through the patient portal with medication questions, but they do not even respond. If I could give them a negative rating, I would.

This review is based on Clarissa who works at the MARKET AT TAYLOR ST inside the hospital. She SUCKS. SHE'S RUDE, UNKNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE PRODUCTS IN THE STORE AND THEIR DIFFERENT COSTS??!! Or at least that's what she told me in a very rude manner. I'm trying to get info and she's ignoring me, acting like she didn't hear me, being ignorant towards the prices of products. Whoever hired her SHAME ON YOU. PUT CAMERAS IN. HAVE QUESTION/COMMENT CARDS SO WE CAN USE THEM!! thank y'all for listening

I give 3.5 stars to the service I received on the day of my appointment. The 5 stars are because I was so surprised to receive a call after completing a survey regarding my appointment. I completed the survey only for goodness sake not knowing it was gonna be taken serious and to my surprise it mattered so I wanna let everyone know to take a moment to complete those surveys because they're obviously being noticed by management.

The service was acceptable, although one or two people did not fulfill their responsibilities.

This review is for UIC staff. I began my egg-freezing journey in April. Staff told me I was approved and would owe nothing except optional FDA screening, so I proceeded. After I ordered the medication, Dr. Victoria called me in a panic to say my egg freezing was elective, not covered by insurance, and had to be paid out of pocket. Her staff then told me I would need to pay more than $7000 to continue. I transferred to Kindbody, and insurance paid for the procedure. Screenshots are attached. No one at this facility knows what they are doing. Another doctor told me UIC wanted to freeze embryos because they did not know how to freeze eggs. All 3 clinics accept my insurance. Thankfully, I am now completing my second egg-freezing cycle, but these people wasted months of my time. Do not use UIC for fertility care. I began to worry they would lose my eggs if I continued there. I am very pleased with my results at Kindbody: 15 mature eggs.
