Dr. Humphreys’s areas of special interest include in vitro fertilization, reproductive endocrine disorders, recurrent pregnancy loss, fertility preservation through egg freezing, and genetic testing to help build healthy families. She supports patient autonomy, focuses on ethical considerations in family planning, and educates patients so they can make informed decisions about fertility diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Humphreys earned a BA in psychology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, completed a postbaccalaureate premedical program at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, and earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine.
Following her passion for helping people grow their families, she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Utah, where she served as a visiting instructor, received the school’s Outstanding Resident Award, and earned the Women in Medicine Resident Recognition Award for three consecutive years. She also completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Utah.
Dr. Humphreys is an active reproductive endocrinology researcher and has presented several collaborative studies at prominent medical meetings. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, where she has held several leadership roles, as well as the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and Society for Reproductive Investigation. Staying current with clinical practice and advancing the field remain priorities as she enters clinical practice.
