My review is for Dr. Ward. He did an excellent job answering my questions before surgery, which I appreciated. Thank you, Dr. Ward. I am very excited about my surgery date and proud to have a doctor like you who truly cares about us 😁

I was skeptical about seeing a male obstetrician, but Dr. Ward listens very well and tries to understand what is being asked or explained. I will never return to another female OB. Everyone was kind and respectful.

Truly the best staff ever, hands down. I just keep getting pregnant so I can spend time with them. 🤭 They are heartfelt, caring, and fun! I enjoy watching their funny videos on social media. You feel the joy when you walk into the office. I have never had any issues or complaints and have used them for more than 10 years. Keep up the great work!

My fiancée was dismissed by Dr. Martin and her nurse. After leaving her 35-week appointment, we sought a second opinion. Less than three hours after leaving Dr. Martin's appointment, she was diagnosed with preeclampsia and was induced at UAMS. Our experience at Conway Women's Health Center was unpleasant, and no one listened to my fiancée's struggles and symptoms. If you plan to come here for prenatal care or delivery, go elsewhere or use a doctor other than Brandy Martin.

I have always had good experiences with APRN Heather White and Dr. Johnson. Recently, however, there was a communication issue involving the receptionist and another nurse. My words were completely distorted. I can no longer trust this clinic. You have lost a patient.

I am glad Dr. Johnson performed life-saving surgery on me, but she misrepresented the side effects of the Depo injection, which left me suicidal for twelve weeks, and then told me to pray that the pain from a ruptured cyst would go away. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone who wants to know the truth beforehand.

Now that my surgery is finally complete, I feel able to speak honestly about my experience. Although Dr. Johnson appears competent and kind, nearly every interaction with the rest of the clinic staff was frustrating, confusing, and sometimes humiliating. On April 25, I was diagnosed with endometrial polyps and expected surgery to be scheduled, or at least to receive clear next steps. Instead, I was told Billing would call ‘in a few days’ before scheduling. That never happened. They knew my mother had a history of endometrial cancer, so regardless of the low likelihood of malignancy, I wanted the polyps removed. Days passed, and although my husband called daily, no one followed up. We had to visit the clinic in person on May 2 just to secure a surgery date, but still had no time. My husband has a good job and health insurance, yet they required prepayment before scheduling the polyp removal. We learned the time very late, and only after my primary-care doctor texted them directly on my behalf. This is not normal. The office finally left a voicemail at 11:37 a.m. asking me to call by noon, giving me less than 30 minutes during my usual nap, although they knew my neuromuscular condition requires rest. Staff reprimanded me twice for having my phone off, despite knowing I nap and attend appointments where phones must be off. They could have left the appointment time in the voicemail; otherwise, why did I complete the HIPAA authorization? Waiting nearly two months for surgery while experiencing ongoing bleeding and stress migraines was difficult enough. The poor communication, contradictory demand for immediate availability, and repeated failures in basic follow-up left me emotionally exhausted. I felt they wanted me to believe I did not matter or was being punished for being ill. Dr. Johnson may mean well, but the clinic staff drove me away. I will not return or recommend this clinic to anyone who values clear communication and compassionate care.

Everyone was kind and highly professional.

I cannot evaluate the care this facility provides. I can only say that when I tried to schedule an appointment, I waited over 7 minutes to be connected, then the phone rang endlessly without an answer. This clearly is not for me!

I usually see Dr. Lawrence, who is kind and helpful, but I needed an appointment with someone who could check whether I was pregnant. As soon as I checked in that day, the women at the front desk closed the glass window and began discussing what I had said on the phone. They then laughed, making me feel foolish for coming in to check for pregnancy. The woman who called me back had a poor attitude from the start and seemed annoyed by everything. I saw Ms. Amber, who told me their urine pregnancy tests are 100% accurate and essentially said my symptoms might not be related to pregnancy. I left feeling terrible and still wanting confirmation that everything was okay or whether I was pregnant, but they offered no solution. After having blood drawn, I was told the results would be available the next morning. They were not, and I had to call that afternoon to confirm them. If you are looking for a new OB-GYN, I do not recommend this office.

I really like this women's healthcare center. Everyone is very kind, and the doctors are highly attentive to your needs. I would recommend it to any woman looking for a doctor!

I came here at four weeks pregnant. I previously had hyperemesis gravidarum and was prescribed medication needed to function normally. I told them I had miscarried before and was worried. After my blood test, I requested repeat testing to see whether the pregnancy was progressing. It showed falling progesterone, but the nurse said they were not concerned, would not order more tests, and would not provide progesterone supplements. When I insisted, the nurse coldly told me to call the front desk. My partner and I then went for our first ultrasound. The doctor spent 15 minutes discussing financial responsibility, but less than 10 minutes with me. I waited longer than the doctor saw me. The ultrasound was transvaginal, and three people entered the room. I did not know one of them, and the doctor did not introduce them. The doctor casually stood at my feet, moved the probe slightly, said, ‘This is your baby,’ and let us hear the heartbeat for six seconds. They said it was earlier than expected and ended the ultrasound. One printed image showed only my uterine wall, with no baby visible. My partner took timestamped photos at 2:02 p.m. while I waited, 2:12 p.m. while I was still waiting, and 2:20 p.m. after the ultrasound. I received no reassurance that the baby was okay and no explanation. They did not say what they were looking for or whether there was reason to worry that the pregnancy measured a week behind my last menstrual period. They only told me to leave and return later. It felt very cold and clinical. I called to cancel all follow-up care and found a new clinic. Today I was notified that all my prescriptions had been canceled. I need daily medication for hyperemesis gravidarum. I have had two children before, and this was my worst obstetric experience. I know they see dozens of patients each day, but if your job is caring for expectant mothers, there should be more compassion and clinical care rather than treating us like medical specimens.

We love Dr Lawrence and would recommend her to all women. She is very careful to look at things from all angles with you, and not quick to put you through surgery if there's another option. She was my Dr with our last 2 pregnancies, which the last one was twins. I highly respect her. She shoots straight with you, but is kind. Thank you, Dr Lawrence. God bless you 🩷🩵🩷

I was unexpectedly scheduled for a colposcopy. I was told that my Pap smear was abnormal and asked to return so the doctor could "take a closer look." When I arrived, the front desk told me it could cost up to $430 and asked me to sign. I said I wanted to speak with the doctor because I did not understand what the procedure was and the doctor had not explained anything. The woman at the front desk simply looked at me, so I signed. Once I was in the examination room, the nurse explained in more detail why I was there and what test would be performed. I cried in front of her. The nurse and doctor treated me well, but communication is an essential part of patient care. As someone with anxiety, being scheduled for this procedure without warning terrified me. Had I known, I would have requested something for anxiety before the procedure and prepared myself better for what would happen. I cannot overstate how poorly this was handled.

Dr. Ward was excellent and ensured the entire process went smoothly. The anesthesia team also did an outstanding job. I would recommend them to anyone considering an IUD.

I could not let CWHC go without a review! Dr. Ward managed my entire pregnancy, and I can confidently say he is the best doctor I have encountered in my 27 years. He listens carefully, never rushes patients, gives the best advice, and makes you feel that he truly cares. When I was feeling down, I especially looked forward to appointments because I always left feeling happy rather than sad. Dr. Ward and his entire team, including his nurses, are wonderful! They always answer and return calls promptly; I never waited days to reach them with a question or concern. They were always ready to help. My delivery also went very smoothly. No matter what, I will continue seeing Dr. Ward! He and his team deserve 10 stars! Thank you for everything.

I have been seeing Dr. Lawrence since 2017 and love her. But somehow the reception at her office is getting worst. I have been called for two days back to back trying to make an appointment before my hysterectomy, after went through AI that screened my call, then long wait and finally got to talk to someone, but she refused to give me the appointment and run me around. She demanded me to give the reason why I want to see the doctor and told me they would like to know the detail/ reason before make me the appointment. Said who??? i told her I want to discuss more with her and get some paperwork for my work. First day she managed to tell me to call my insurance for paperwork to give to my work. I told her that’s not it, the insurance is authorized the procedure and payments. Honestly I almost ask who trained you how to do your job but I calm myself down instead. This is major surgery and i need to be sure about it. Then she managed to turn around and said you already have Telehealth for pre-op the day before the surgery. I said that’s not going to work for me, it’s not enough time for my work and to discuss what I want to discuss being the day before surgery, which honestly I don’t know for sure if I should have surgery. Then she managed to send me to the nurse which I had to wait forever for just to be told that the nurse is not available to talk and I had to left the message on her voicemail in order for her to call me back. Oh I did that the first time I called with scheduling lady and no one ever call. That when I had enough and told her all I need is an appointment to see the doctor, I did not ask to speak with the nurse neither feel comfortable to discuss with you. I don’t ask for free service, my insurance is pay for the visit so I need the appointment set up now because I also have job to do, I can’t waste my time holding on the phone and answering questions that I don’t want to talk to anyone but doctor. She paused for a while and said her schedule is not open and then proceeded to gave me the appointment almost a month later, which is fine with me. I just have a hard time understanding why I’m obligated to tell all my business or the reasons I want to see the doctor in order to get an appointment set. This is ridiculous, at this point I almost feel like I need to find second opinion and new doctor. Again, nothing wrong with Dr. Lawrence, the front desk staff are the problem and I’m not sure if I want to deal with it anymore.

I have been so impressed with this clinic! Their whole staff from the receptionists to the drs are very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer your many, many questions! I highly recommend nurse practitioner, Heather White! She helped put my 18 year old daughter’s fears at ease, helped us come up with a plan to help with her menstrual symptoms and migraines and even offered Telehealth services if she needed help while she was away at college! Her bedside manner is one of the best I have ever been to! We have found a gem and consider ourselves very blessed to have such a kind and caring dr!!
