I would like to welcome you and take this opportunity to introduce you to RADfertility and to me. Since earning my medical degree in 1988, I have devoted my career to women's health. My training in obstetrics and gynecology reinforced what I already knew as a mother: the wonder of pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood is truly what life is all about. I knew I wanted to help couples struggling to have children on their own.
After completing my reproductive endocrinology fellowship, I could have joined any number of established practices, but I intended to provide a very special kind of fertility care. To offer the care I believed in, I knew I had to create a special place and team. I founded RADfertility and was soon joined by my partner, Dr. Feinberg. Since then, we have helped thousands of families grow while maintaining our shared commitment to the patients we serve.
Our approach to reproductive medicine centers on you. Your specific health needs and family goals guide your treatment here. Whether your individual solution involves hormone or medication therapy, minimally invasive surgery to address fertility issues, or a more advanced option such as IVF, you will receive care tailored to you. I loved my experience at RAD. They held my hand at every step, so I never felt alone. Sadly, I miscarried last year, but other options remained, and a few months later, thanks to RAD, their patience, and the choices they offered, I conceived my miracle baby. They tailored my care to my needs and thoroughly explained every step of each procedure and process. RAD will always be family to me! Special thanks to Dr. Feinberg, Dr. McGuirk, Ashley PA, Robin PA, Donna, Mari, Dorri, Alana, Ashley MA, and many more—you all stood out. RAD Fertility is absolutely amazing! They were happy to answer all my questions and seemed to schedule my husband and me right away. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking fertility treatment. Although all of this is still new to me, I trust that they will take good care of me.

The atmosphere was very welcoming. I visited mainly for two things. I was greeted by a receptionist who was also a nurse and drew my blood. The process with the doctor was quick, the entire exam felt relaxed, and she patiently answered every question. I will definitely recommend this clinic.

I cannot fully express how happy I am with this amazing group of people. Everyone in the office is welcoming and genuinely cares about you. I graduated from RAD a few weeks ago. I still remember how heartbroken and discouraged my husband and I were after three failed IUIs at another clinic. We came to RAD uncertain about the future, and I found myself reading Google reviews every day. It seemed there was a new success story every week—another person had become pregnant. Those stories brought me tremendous comfort and hope.
From the moment we arrived, we truly felt the professionalism and warmth here. From the phlebotomists to the nurses, doctors, and even the two women at the front desk, everyone was professional, kind, and attentive. Whenever I had a question, someone was always willing to listen and provide a thoughtful answer. I never felt overlooked or alone.
I have finally become one of the weekly success stories. We are extremely grateful to RAD for helping us realize our dream of becoming parents.

I am extremely grateful to RAD. After two years of fertility treatment elsewhere, which I hesitate to call a clinic, we felt we had made no progress. After multiple timed-intercourse and intrauterine insemination (IUI) cycles and three miscarriages, we began to lose hope. They kept telling us we did not need in vitro fertilization (IVF), that we could conceive with intrauterine insemination (IUI), and continued IUI cycles after recurrent miscarriages. We sought another opinion at RAD and were fortunate to find Dr. Schillings. She immediately recommended in vitro fertilization (IVF), and it has been a very positive experience. We are preparing to begin an FET cycle and feel hopeful.

Although I only had one telehealth consultation with this clinic, it was not a good experience. I did not appreciate the assumptions the doctor made based solely on my height and weight. Do not assume from those numbers that I am inactive or unhealthy. Perhaps meet me in person and check other vital signs before making such assumptions.

They are the best!! I was lucky to find them. Before starting IVF with them, I had 3 miscarriages and felt heartbroken and hopeless. Now my baby boy will be 6 months old next week :) 1- The office is excellent, and they have an on-site blood-draw lab, so you do not have to go to Labcorp or elsewhere. 2- Everyone, from the front desk to the nurses and doctors, is very kind and professional. 3- I am very impatient and irritable and wanted to become pregnant and have a baby immediately. They were highly efficient with every step and all communication. I always received prompt replies and never had to wait anxiously for answers. They also treated my endometriosis. Dr. Wendy J. Schillings was my doctor. So far, I cannot think of anything negative about this place. I just want to thank everyone there. I am truly happy now! Thank you, RAD!

Note: They delete negative reviews. The data are biased. I can think of at least five one-star reviews that seem to have disappeared, all on the same theme. There are also other firsthand experiences and potential lawsuits.
I have never experienced worse medical trauma or treatment than I did with their founder, Dr. Barbara A. McGuirk. Even years later, I am still shocked that I cried during an appointment because of how she treated me, and she told me without compassion that I had no reason to cry.
RAD may be great if you are thin, but as soon as a heavier person, including those of us with polycystic ovary syndrome, walks through the door, their bias becomes clear. Be aware that this place was founded by someone with questionable ethics.

First, I want to say that the doctors and coordinators I dealt with were wonderful. My issue was with billing. Michelle Ward was very unprofessional and dismissive and honestly did not care about helping. My appointment was September 17, and on the 16th I received a message saying I had to pay $1,600 upfront. I politely asked whether my insurance did not cover it, but received no answer. When I arrived at 8 a.m. the next morning after taking time off work, the receptionist said I owed $1,600. I asked again whether insurance did not cover it. She apparently called billing and told me I had to pay upfront and would be reimbursed by insurance. My fiancée said we should call our insurer. Before the appointment, they had told me they covered 80%, with a $750 individual and $1,500 family amount. When I called again, they said the same and clarified that they absolutely would not reimburse the payment. I then contacted Ms. Michelle. She was extremely dismissive and only said she had contacted my insurer on August 15 and had been told the same thing. First, if they contacted the insurer on August 15, why wait a month until the day before my appointment to tell me the cost? Second, I told her I had just spoken with my insurer. After several exchanges, she repeatedly said that was what the insurer had said and wished me well. Even after I sent a screenshot of my insurance plan and gave her the phone number, she refused to call and verify, although my insurer had again told me that morning that the testing was covered. I later called RAD to cancel all future appointments until the issue was resolved. The woman on the phone sounded like the helpful person I remembered from when I first scheduled. What happened? I explained everything, and she said I had been treated improperly and would have her manager contact me. The manager called a few hours later, but I missed it. I called back about 20 minutes later, left a message, and a week has passed without another call. It is unfortunate because you would expect a fertility clinic to genuinely want to help people, not treat them this way. Some staff are excellent; others are not. I now have to find another fertility clinic. I had heard many positive reviews from friends, but the way I was treated was unacceptable. They made no effort to help. Again, the doctors, coordinators, and the woman who originally scheduled me were wonderful.

I recently completed the final frozen embryo transfer from this egg retrieval. Although Dr. Hutchinson was not my primary physician, I know she provided tremendous help throughout the process. My experience on the day of the procedure was absolutely perfect! She was kind, respectful, and professional, and her presence was a breath of fresh air that made me feel completely at ease. She helped me relax and eased my anxiety, and her positive, optimistic attitude far exceeded my expectations. My husband and I are both very grateful that she performed my procedure. Thank you again!

Dr. Hutchinson is knowledgeable, thorough, and reassuring. I had been looking for a doctor who would not dismiss my concerns and would instead try to identify the root cause of my symptoms. I can now fully trust Dr. Hutchinson's treatment plan.

Although Dr. McGuirk's team includes some of the best medical staff I have encountered, Dr. McGuirk herself put my life at risk during treatment. She prescribed two medications that caused suicidal thoughts—one caused intrusive suicidal thoughts for 48 hours, while the other caused months of severe depression that ultimately led to suicidal thoughts. Both times, she did not believe the medications could cause these side effects, even though they are known to do so. Because Dr. McGuirk did not listen to me, my parents had to place me on suicide watch during a mental health crisis. Several months of Zoladex prescribed by Dr. McGuirk also caused neuropathy, with severe burning pain in my hands and feet, and she wanted me to take it for life. It was also one of the medications that caused suicidal thoughts. I finally told her I was stopping the medication, although she continued to insist that “these problems were not caused by her or her medications,” which was a red flag. After stopping it, the suicidal thoughts disappeared. I have now been off Zoladex and out of this doctor's care for a year. A neurologist performed an EMG for my neuropathy and said these medications commonly cause neuropathy and that it could have become permanent if I had continued Zoladex. Nearly a year after stopping it, my neuropathy is now almost gone. Since stopping the medications this doctor prescribed, I have been a very happy, positive person with no further problems. Please be careful and listen to your body.

Excellent doctor.
From the first year I had periods, I experienced very heavy bleeding and severe pelvic pain. Like many women, I was told I was exaggerating. I was on birth control from age 14 to 32. When my husband and I tried to conceive, I went to my GYOB and told her I suspected endometriosis. She said I was fine and did not have it. Two years later, I saw a fertility doctor and again said I suspected endometriosis. They dismissed all my symptoms and said I had “misdiagnosed” myself. I searched Google for “endometriosis specialist near me” and found Dr. McGuirk in Delaware. I called the office, and Kim asked why I wanted to see that specific doctor. I reviewed my history, and she fully supported me. We scheduled an appointment for the following week, and since then I have never felt so well cared for or guided in the right direction. Dr. McGuirk is passionate about helping women with severe pelvic pain. Her practice also focuses on nutritional changes and helping you as naturally as possible, which aligns with my wishes. I could not recommend her more!

Because of RAD, I am the mother of two wonderful boys. I will always be grateful to this amazing group of doctors. After I had my children, Dr. McGuirk continued to monitor my endometriosis through her pelvic pain clinic, and I am finally pain-free! Reproductive Associates of Delaware treats every patient as an individual and evaluates the underlying causes and needs. I highly recommend this group to anyone with infertility and/or endometriosis.

I was assigned to Dr. McGuirk and Dr. F at RAD for multiple rounds of IVF and surgery because of stage IV endometriosis, so I saw them both often. 18 years ago, I drove from Easton, Maryland, to the Wilmington, Delaware, office every day before work. I shared tears and fears with the doctors and staff. Dr. McGuirk performed an u/s when they were confused because my HCG levels kept rising and then began falling, indicating a miscarriage. Two weeks later, the level was found to have reached 17,771. Dr. M was the first to tell me that I was pregnant and the baby was strong and healthy. Your office, doctors, and staff will never fully understand how grateful we are to all of you. You made me a mother. You made us a family. I cannot thank you enough.

Dr. McGuirk is such a blessing! I am so grateful that I found her when I did! She helped completely change my life for the better and offered insight and extensive knowledge about endometriosis from every angle. Her bedside manner is amazing, and she treats patients like family. My surgery with Dr. McGuirk went very smoothly, and I improved 100% from the severe condition I was in when I first saw her. For the first time in years, I feel normal and can enjoy an overall healthier, better life! The results have been amazing. I got my life back and have felt great ever since. The staff at RADfertility are also excellent! Very pleasant and prompt.

Dr McGuirk, thank you!! After 5 polypectomys Dr McGuirk was the ONLY(moved states a few times & was at 4 different clinics)Dr to immediately say this is not normal, something else is going on. I had stage 2 silent endometriosis with very messed up tubes. She fixed it all! I was pregnant 3 months later and am sitting with my perfect 8 month old son. I tell my story to anyone with fertility issues. She is the best at what she does!
