    They categorically refused to care for me because of my high BMI. They have a limit and will not see you if you exceed it, regardless of anything else. I am otherwise healthy, have a clear medical history, and had zero complications during my first pregnancy and my daughter's birth last year. I was still obese during pregnancy but had no gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, preterm labor, or other complications. Just 4 days later, the office called to cancel my appointment after reviewing my information and finding that my BMI exceeded their limit. They had never seen me in person. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists considers this discrimination ‘unethical,’ and I completely agree. I felt humiliated.

    Dr. Kramer is the best. She was my doctor when I delivered my baby. My entire pregnancy and delivery were extremely eventful and overwhelming, but she was incredible. She is the best and knows how to reassure her patients. Best of all, she is highly professional but never made me feel like just another patient she had to “handle.” The best doctor I have ever met, along with Dr. O!

    I just had my first LEEP procedure, and she was very understanding. She made sure every question and concern was addressed and sat beside me while I was afraid and crying to ensure I felt safe and in control. This woman made me feel safe at the clinic, and I recommend her to anyone with a history of anxiety or depression.

    Dr. Kramer is undoubtedly the most remarkable doctor I have encountered. She delivered my wonderful daughter by emergency C-section at MercyOne in Dubuque. I had many complications during and after surgery, and she did everything possible to make it go as smoothly as possible, continually assuring me that I was strong and could do it. I was close to giving up, and she truly saved my life. Without her and her extraordinary skills, I might not be here today raising my perfect girl. She always goes above and beyond and genuinely cares about her patients. She made me feel heard, and throughout the entire experience I knew she truly cared. I recommend her to everyone. Dr. Kramer saved my life, and I will always be grateful. She will never fully understand how much she means to my family and me or how thankful we are.
