I am writing to share my recent experience with Albert Liu, which I found distressing. During our video conference, I felt that he was distant and unapproachable, making it difficult for me to open up about my mental health challenges.
Unfortunately, when my phone battery died and I rejoined the call, Albert commented on my niece's disruptive behavior in a way I found rude and insensitive. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I expected a compassionate and professional response, but his remark made me feel dismissed and even more anxious.
I later contacted coordinator Marvin M to discuss my concerns, but despite multiple messages and calls, I received no response. This lack of communication added to my frustration.
I had hoped for a supportive experience, but instead I felt ignored and undervalued. Mental health practitioners must create an empathetic and respectful environment, and I felt this was lacking in my interactions.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Albert Liu or this organization to others seeking mental health support. I hope my review helps others find the compassionate care they deserve.

Dr. Dobson was wonderful during my first visit. He took the time to explain everything clearly in plain language and made me feel at ease. He listened carefully to my concerns and involved me in my treatment. I left the clinic feeling fully informed, supported, and confident in my care. I highly recommend Dr. Dobson and the Sutter Fertility Center team.

Dr. Dobson is absolutely one of the best doctors in the Sutter Health system. He is kind and willing to explain any issues that arise during treatment. We are deeply grateful to him for helping us have our first son and for helping with possible future children.

Dr. Dobson is experienced and knowledgeable. He listens patiently to every concern and provides clear, practical advice. He is candid about possible solutions and never wastes patients’ time. He is also a true gentleman who made me comfortable throughout treatment, especially during ultrasounds, greatly easing my anxiety. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Dobson for his attentive care and guidance throughout my infertility treatment. Ultrasounds are always uncomfortable for me, but he made every experience much easier. He is truly the gentlest doctor I have met and always took extra care to ensure I was comfortable at every step. He also has a great sense of humor and helped me stay positive even during stressful moments.
The entire Sutter Health team was wonderful. Because my appointments often depended on my menstrual cycle, I sometimes saw whichever doctor was available that day. Every staff member and physician I met was kind, professional, and attentive.
I also want to thank Dr. Ezzati, who performed my egg retrieval and embryo transfer. He did an outstanding job, and I greatly appreciated his skill and calm manner during these crucial procedures.
After two unsuccessful intrauterine insemination (IUI) attempts, I ultimately succeeded through in vitro fertilization (IVF). I am so thankful for the compassionate, supportive, and capable team that made it possible.
Thank you to Dr. Dobson, Dr. Ezzati, and everyone at Sutter Health. You made an enormous difference in my journey, and I will always be grateful ♥️

Dr. Dobson is the most wonderful doctor. Infertility is one of the most difficult life challenges, and my biggest regret is not taking his advice and starting IVF sooner. Dr. Dobson works his tail off for his patients—I don’t know how he does it but he never stops working hard for patients like us. If you aren’t getting pregnant within a few months and are over the age of 35, see him now. Don’t hesitate, don’t wait. He will communicate honestly and effectively. Just listen and know you’ve got a partner in your journey who truly cares.

Dr. Dobson and his team are the finest, most down-to-earth people. Unfortunately, my husband and I experienced a devastating loss that ended in miscarriage. Dr. Dobson was very gentle and compassionate and was confident about my next treatment plan, as my procedure was scheduled for that week. Dr. Dobson and his team always prioritize patient comfort and pain management. Although the outcome was not what we wanted, Dr. Dobson is an exceptional physician who always puts patients first. We are very grateful to him and his team. Thank you again.

Dr. Dobson is one of the best doctors I have ever seen.
Our first meeting was introductory. He discussed the science of how fertility works, what he wanted to test, and the purpose and effects of interventions. He was willing to answer every question. He also called me after hours to issue a prescription and give instructions so I could begin a cycle on time, and I appreciated that extra effort. His instructions at the end of every appointment were always very clear, and he also wrote them in the notes for easy reference.
He was willing to move through the continuum of interventions as quickly or slowly as I wanted and did not try to rush me into IVF, which I ultimately did not need. Within 3 months of my first appointment with Dr. Dobson, I successfully conceived after 2 letrozole cycles.
At every step, he honestly shared his thoughts and thoroughly answered all my questions. I could trust that when he said something looked good, it did, and if something looked unusual, he told me that too.
I am glad he chose this profession. He has made a meaningful difference in my life.

If you are experiencing infertility, there is no better doctor to have by your side. Dr. Dobson is very caring, understanding, and knowledgeable and helped us tremendously. The entire team is kind and compassionate throughout the process and helps you work toward having a healthy baby.
