Dr. Paige Persch, United States
Dr. Persch grew up in Minnesota, California, and Illinois. She graduated with honors from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, majoring in biochemistry, and earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois Chicago. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in 2018. Dr. Persch enjoys providing respectful, empowering prenatal care. She brings compassion to patients with complex reproductive journeys involving infertility, pregnancy loss, or complications in a previous pregnancy. She provides annual gynecologic examinations and especially enjoys caring for adolescents and young women with menstrual irregularities, contraception needs, sexually transmitted infection prevention, and abnormal Pap smears. She is skilled in hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, open, and robotic gynecologic surgery and provides nonsurgical and surgical treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding and fibroids. As a medical student, Dr. Persch was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. During residency, she received the Fetherston Award for best senior resident, the Ryan Program Resident Award for Excellence in Family Planning, and the 2017 MCW Research Day Clinical and Educational Research Award for her research on diminished ovarian reserve. In her free time, she enjoys time with her husband and two young sons, running, and reading.
