It has now been almost a year. Communication is poor, and on average you have to call about twice to receive a callback about anything beyond day-one cycle information. We had to dig for more information, but nothing was provided about our options, what things meant, or what the next steps might be. We had to call repeatedly to obtain information about tests and other matters. They never called us with the results. Everyone in the office is nice, and the nurse practitioners are usually wonderful. It is frustrating that this is the only option in town, yet we have no results, no answers, and do not even know what choices we have.

At the risk of being repetitive, we are adding our voices to the resounding praise across these Google reviews. At age 46, with my husband and me both affected by serious autoimmune conditions, we believed that achieving our hopes and dreams might be impossible. Still, we were willing to protect that small flame of hope until the very end rather than give up before it was completely gone. From our first visit, Dr. Austin and every member of the team shared this determination to do everything possible. We had never felt so cared for and understood, like family—not only listened to, but truly heard. The people coordinating each part of our care were exceptionally responsive and thoroughly explained what would happen next. They were second to none. After our second IVF cycle succeeded and it was time to transfer to Riverbend’s obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine center, it was difficult to say goodbye. These people build worlds and weave dreams. They created magic with the little bit of stardust we could provide, and we will always be grateful for the treasure that is our daughter. We hope to return in a year for the chance to give her a sibling! They love what they do, and you can feel it simply by walking through their doors. If you are struggling with infertility, this is the place you have been looking for. Thank you, Fertility Center, for giving us this priceless gift. Our joy is beyond words.

First, I would give zero stars if I could. This clinic treated us poorly several years ago. Others are right that Chris is wonderful, but Tasha needs to leave because she is extremely rude and aggressive. Another nurse at the clinic was also aggressive. I will not say much more about our experience because we are considering legal action. We are a married interracial lesbian couple, and I feel they allowed personal bias to affect our care. We saw good reviews at the time and made a serious mistake. I advise everyone to stay away from this place so it closes. They should not work with anyone, because building a family should be a joyful, low-stress experience. I am also a disabled veteran. If I had known how they would treat us, I never would have allowed us to go to this clinic. The reviews I have read are shocking, and the owner’s unexpectedly hostile responses to some one-star reviews are absurd. I remember everything we experienced there and the many harassing payment letters you sent. Harassing someone to collect a debt is illegal, and you should know that. I am now a paralegal, so I know a great deal about personal-injury claims, scams, fraud, and your willingness to violate HIPAA. Our next communication will come from our attorney. Goodbye.

Dr. Austin and his staff are wonderful. I have never felt so cared for by any other office. This is truly a place where you feel understood. Everyone in the office—from the business staff to the receptionists and nurses—shows compassion for your situation. After 7 years of infertility, I have my sweet baby boy thanks to them and IVF. I would recommend them to anyone dealing with infertility.

My healthcare provider is wonderful. However, the front desk, phone system, and portal leave much to be desired, affecting my care and communication with my provider. The front desk never answers the phone; the automated system loops and then disconnects. Even though it says, “For faster results, communicate with your provider through the portal,” I still do not receive timely responses, with replies taking over a week. These problems have occurred repeatedly since I became a patient. I edited this review in response to the clinic's reply. Despite your response, I continue to receive the same poor service. Replying to a review with positive intentions is not enough. You did not follow through to resolve the problem. Alas! Patients and prospective patients reading these reviews should note the very similar pattern in the lowest-rated reviews. This has happened to more than one patient, and they have not fixed it.

I never became a patient because the wait was too long. I emailed the new-patient forms in January and did not receive an email about becoming a patient until the third week of April, 3.5 months later, merely so they could call and schedule an appointment. They also communicated poorly about what was missing from the forms, saying only that they were incomplete. Why are they still using paper forms? It is too slow and inconvenient! I went to Spring Fertility in Portland instead. They were wonderful, scheduled me within 3 weeks, and performed an IUI during my next cycle! However, if you have no insurance or poor coverage, CNY may save time and money; the forums are full of information.

Dr. Austin and his team are the reason my husband's health continues to improve and we may have a chance to have our first child. If you read my other reviews, especially those about local primary-care options, heed my warning. After my husband and I struggled with two local primary-care providers, I wholeheartedly believe this specialist is worth it and deserves every compliment. Dr. Austin's team never failed to give my husband clear instructions, and neither of us was denied testing, apart from his difficulty remaining still in the MRI machine. It is clear that Dr. Austin and his entire team care about their patients, especially those who come to him seriously ill. For us, seeing Dr. Austin was about more than the chance to have a child my husband could not otherwise father. It was about keeping my husband alive and preserving his quality of life while we continued struggling to obtain appropriate primary care. Dr. Austin helps his patients understand that they deserve treatment and care, and I remain extremely grateful for his care of my husband. Every office could learn from Dr. Austin and his team. Thank you for caring about us and continuing to go above and beyond, even when our insurance made things difficult. You recognized the illness and acted immediately. We are both deeply grateful. We are not yet pregnant and, as we age, may never be. But he now has a chance to try while there is still time and to remain healthy. Low testosterone can cause physical deterioration, poor sperm quality, and reduced life expectancy. The opportunity to try was not taken from him in the name of health. The situation was delicate and complex, and Dr. Austin handled it exceptionally, giving my husband a chance to leave a legacy and, most importantly, a better quality of life. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

We loved working with Dr. Austin, Camille, and their outstanding team! The fertility journey was not easy, but their support was exactly what we needed to keep going. Thanks to this team, we have the family we dreamed of. I highly recommend Dr. Austin and her team for all your fertility needs.

Our experience so far has been completely unacceptable. We have tried to schedule a new-patient appointment since February 17. After we submitted every required form, they took three weeks to process them. Six weeks later, we still have no appointment, no communication, not even a courtesy call. For a clinic serving people and couples trying to conceive, this delay and lack of response are discouraging and harmful. Your patients are at an extremely sensitive and emotionally vulnerable stage of life, and the complete lack of urgency or empathy is deeply disappointing. The process feels dismissive and neglectful. Patients deserve clear communication, reasonable timelines, and basic respect. Please do better.
