Although I understand that people have their own reasons for their ratings, mine is based on results. Thanks to Dr. Udoff and his staff, I now have a beautiful 16-month-old son. That is not the entire story; the beginning was not easy. I faced several challenges: my assigned nurse did not respond within a reasonable time or at all, calls or meetings were missed, medication instructions were unclear, and more. This dates back to 2022. It was difficult, but I was prepared for a challenging process. This continued for more than 2-3 months. After I raised my concerns with Dr. Udoff, the nurses were rotated and I began working with another nurse. From then on, the experience was completely different. We used a new protocol, and they carefully ensured that I remained stable for the rest of the pregnancy until I transitioned to my OB-GYN. I am very grateful to have met Dr. Udoff and his team. He answers every question and takes time to clarify anything when you need more information.

I have nothing but good things to say about GIVF! From the beginning of our journey, the staff and everyone at GIVF were very friendly and helpful. We even moved out of state but continued seeing them because of our positive experience! I highly recommend GIVF!

Without GIVF, Dr. Udoff, my coordinator Missy Coy, and the other staff, I would not have the family I have today. From the beginning, everyone was exceptional, thoughtful, and caring. The worst hospital I have visited. The doctors, receptionists, medical coordinators, and even ultrasound technicians were extremely rude! I do not understand all the positive reviews. Even after 5-6 appointments, they had made no progress and only wanted patients to undergo IVF or IUI! There was no discussion of your condition or infertility, only your insurance and out-of-pocket cost for IUI or IVF, starting at the first appointment. I waited 3 months for an appointment to discuss my infertility and find some hope, but instead I was emotionally distressed because the doctor focused only on the cost of IVF or IUI! They did not even bother to say they would not do it if it was unnecessary. It was only IVF, IUI, and their cost—that was all. After 5-6 appointments, they had done nothing but promote IUI and IVF. I canceled all future appointments and conceived naturally two months later!

Where do I begin? First, do not waste your time. If you qualify for Shady Grove Fertility's shared-risk program, they share the financial risk with you, but this place does not. This clinic seems more driven by money than patient care. Dr. Sarhan is not the warmest physician and can sometimes appear arrogant. She treated us more like a statistic or number than patients. After a painful procedure, she never called once to check on my wife and ensure she was well. Dr. Sarhan, if you are reading this, I suggest making a 2-minute call to ensure your patients are all right. It would make you seem less indifferent and help your patients trust you. Neither of us felt that. It would help your career. Shady Grove Fertility is much more caring. Its doctors are more concerned about your physical and financial well-being. I would give a negative star rating if I could. Shady Grove team all day!!!

The staff at GIVF are wonderful! After first going to Shady Grove and being very disappointed with how we were treated, we found GIVF and could not have been happier! The staff not only took time to treat us as more than just patients; they made us feel like family! They were as invested as we were. I have been a GIVF patient for several years, and I could not praise this practice more highly. Thanks to Dr. Sarhan, I can now hold my three-month-old baby girl in my arms! This team is not only highly skilled but also compassionate. At GIVF, they treat you like family. Two years before my daughter, I had a successful IUI at GIVF but unfortunately experienced a second-trimester loss because of an unforeseen cervical issue. For the past two years, Dr. Sarhan and her team have sent me a card on his birthday. While coping with infertility and loss, this team ensures that you feel seen and heard. My nurse coordinator, Missy, still emails to check on me! During treatment, my husband and I moved 1.5 hours away, but we continued driving to GIVF because it is hard to find a medical team that treats you like family rather than just another patient or the next ticket in line. From Nicole's consistently warm welcome at the front desk to Elena giving me purple pineapple socks at my last transfer, this team was everything I was looking for. I am not sure this doctor is right for you. My wife had a terrible treatment experience with him, and I would not recommend him to anyone.

I personally do not believe Dr. Lawrence is the best choice for IVF treatment. Based on what I have heard from other patients, he may not always give sensitive cases the compassion and support they deserve. One woman even said he completely dismissed her case and left her feeling hopeless, as though every door had been closed. That attitude can be extremely discouraging, especially for someone going through such an emotional and difficult journey. 😏

My experience with Dr. Lawrence was disappointing. I consulted him about IVF treatment and hoped to move forward. However, Dr. Lawrence quickly discouraged me, saying I had certain health issues without taking the time to explain them carefully or offer any solutions or steps I could take. I understand that medical concerns must be taken seriously, but I expected more compassion, clearer communication, and at least a plan for addressing the issues he mentioned. Unfortunately, I left feeling confused, unsupported, and without direction. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Dr. Lawrence to anyone seeking thoughtful or patient-centered fertility guidance.!!!!!!

My journey is only beginning, and GIVF has been wonderful. I came here specifically to recognize my coordinator, Laurel Patton. She has gone far beyond my expectations. Even after hours, she has been available to answer calls and emails, and at 10 p.m. she sent a prescription from home to the pharmacy to ensure I received my medication on time. I am very grateful that I chose GIVF and even more grateful to be working with Laurel. This journey is exciting but stressful, and Laurel and GIVF do everything possible to make it as smooth as they can. I truly feel fortunate. I recommend GIVF without reservation!

The GIVF team is amazing! I never felt like just a number here. Syrveta at the front desk has a very calm manner, and her gentle voice always put me at ease. The nurse who drew my blood was wonderful; as someone afraid of needles, I was not scared at all when she drew mine. Sonographer Elena is kind and funny. Missy was very compassionate, stayed with me throughout the process, and always answered my many, often unusual questions. Dr. Udoff was very direct and transparent. He answered all my questions thoroughly and supported his answers with clear data and research. His honest, evidence-based communication style gave me confidence in both the information he shared and the decisions I made. I highly recommend this team to anyone considering IVF.

I found GIVF during my research because they were on Aetna’s Centers of Excellence list, a list of Aetna-approved healthcare facilities. I knew I did not want to go to a large chain like SGF because I had heard enough about billing nightmares, impersonal protocols, and never seeing the same staff member. GIVF is a small clinic, but it has everything you need. I appreciated working with the same group of people throughout nearly a year and three rounds of testing there. We did genetic testing through RGI; PGT testing has been outsourced since December 2024. Overall, the entire process went smoothly. I enjoyed working with Dr. Udoff. He always had time to answer my questions and was willing to discuss anything I challenged. I found him very calm on egg retrieval day. My nurse coordinator was Missy, and I appreciated her quick responses, attention to detail, and steady demeanor. Sonographer Elena was kind, and although Laurel was not my coordinator, I always enjoyed talking with her. My only truly unpleasant experience involved a staff member who is no longer there, so I do not think it would be fair to include that in my overall assessment. Overall, the staff were genuinely wonderful.

My fertility journey began at Shady Grove, but I left after a poor experience and chose GIVF Fertility. The difference was remarkable. At GIVF, communication was good and timely regarding treatment costs, insurance coverage, scheduling, and clinical care during my IVF cycle. I could quickly schedule morning monitoring so I could reach work at a reasonable time, reducing my stress. I received attentive care and concern during every egg retrieval. Everyone at the clinic seemed genuinely invested in my health and success as a patient. I recommend this clinic to anyone seeking more personalized IVF care. GIVF is the reason our second daughter is here. After months without answers, they found the root of the problem, and the staff was wonderful. They helped coordinate everything around a busy teacher's schedule and supported us in every way. Infertility is a difficult journey, and the staff, especially Missy, was amazing. She was always available to answer any questions. We welcomed our second daughter in 2025-8.

We received attentive care from Dr. Udoff and his excellent nursing team, including the lovely nurse Laurel. Dr. Udoff is highly knowledgeable and experienced. The nurses communicated clearly and promptly, making a difficult treatment process much easier. They gave us tremendous support and went out of their way to accommodate our special needs. I had a consultation at GIVF Fertility and paid a $60 copay at the appointment. Later, because of how my insurance company processed the claim, I unexpectedly received an additional bill for $127.75. Although I understand that insurance coverage can vary, the most frustrating part was that the billing department did not respond despite my repeated attempts over several months to request a review or discuss the charge. When they finally responded, they told me the balance would be sent to collections within 10 days, even though I had been actively trying to resolve the issue. The visit itself was only a consultation, so I cannot comment much on the clinical care, but the billing communication and patient support were extremely disappointing. I strongly advise prospective patients to verify their insurance coverage and expected costs carefully before scheduling, as the clinic does not appear to prioritize transparency before appointments.

My NP Howard and Dr. Udoff handled this stressful process with great care. As a team, they helped complete the necessary testing stages. What I found especially valuable was how well Dr. Udoff collaborated with my primary care doctor, who was working behind the scenes on detoxification and vitamin levels. You rarely see different doctors work together for a patient. I appreciated how he decisively disproved my gynecologist's claim, which the testing showed was not present.
