Dr. Susan Davies is the owner and founder of Davies Fertility & IVF Specialists, S.C.

Dr. Davies is dual board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency and REI fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

During her career, she has received numerous awards and honors, including administrative chief resident, Woman of the Year, and the Gold Star Award for Outstanding Patient Care. Dr. Davies has an extensive research background covering many aspects of infertility. She has authored numerous publications in her field and has presented at national and international conferences. Her areas of interest include in vitro fertilization, fertility preservation, male-factor infertility, and ovulation induction. Dr. Davies has practiced since 1996.

    Dr. Davis's team is the reason I had my first child in 2020! It was a much better experience than at a large 'factory-style' IVF clinic. Everyone not only knew my name but genuinely cared about me. I highly recommend Davis as the first step in your journey.

    I began my fertility journey with Dr. Davis in 2021. From the first appointment, I felt as though I was with family. Everyone in this practice is both lovely and professional, which is rare! Every woman working with Dr. Davis helped me through an unpredictable two-year journey. Communication was consistent, and I always felt like a top priority! Dr. Davis worked with me and my severe PCOS, and thanks to her, we now have my lovely little Nico. I will always be grateful. When looking for a fertility clinic, do not overlook this one. I promise they will do everything they can to meet your needs.

    Unfortunately, if your fertility problems are caused by a preexisting health condition, she will not work with you. Very disappointing.

    I am very grateful to Davis Fertility and IVF Specialists. The team is very sensitive and professional. After trying to conceive naturally for two years, we had to seek help from a fertility clinic. We tried IUI, but it did not help us. We then began our IVF journey. I am grateful to Dr. Davis and her team for making our dream come true. Our baby girl was born on May 31, 2024. Highly recommended.

    Even if Google had a special setting that let me give Dr. Davis millions of stars, it would not be enough to express my gratitude for everything she has done for me. Dr. Davis is a gift from God who helps people like me have miracles—children. She helped me become pregnant on my first IVF attempt. I am overjoyed and thank God every day for Dr. Davis, her team, and the nurses, especially Nurse Aanal. After two and a half years of trying to conceive, they helped me become pregnant on my first attempt. I will always be grateful and only wish I had known her two years earlier. Thank you so much, my dear doctor. I cannot wait to work with you and your wonderful team for my second child and third IVF cycle. She represents the best of American doctors. I highly recommend her today, tomorrow, and always. Thank you, thank you, thank you. In November 2024, I gave birth to my first child, and she is beautiful.     Struggling with infertility is one of the most mentally exhausting experiences a person can endure. I am very grateful that my OB-GYN referred me to Davis Fertility Center after my husband and I tried for 18 months without success. At first, my anxiety made me hesitant, but the genuine kindness of everyone at Davis helped me more than words can express. From gracefully accommodating my work schedule—thank you for offering early-morning blood draws so I did not have to miss more time than necessary—to sharing my excitement when we finally received a positive pregnancy test, they were wonderful throughout the process. If we decide to try again, I will call their office without hesitation and return to their care. I felt heard and supported at every step. Their care was excellent, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone hoping to grow their family.

    This review is long overdue, but here it is. In 2022, we had no choice but to seek fertility treatment. From the first phone call, I was treated with respect and compassion. The entire staff was outstanding. Everyone who works here is wonderful and genuinely cared about us. I know everyone has their own opinion, but my experience at this clinic was excellent. If any negative reviews are keeping you from seeing Dr. Davis, do not make that mistake. She is the reason I can say I am a mother and see these beautiful faces every day. **Because we plan to begin a second round of IVF soon, I know I will return for their continued support and care.

    I will write a more detailed review after the ‘two-week wait.’ I will report numerous issues at Davis Fertility Center to the medical board. Their staff are aggressive (Aanal), arrogant (Susan), and incompetent (Amanda). Their ‘care’ made my treatment longer, more expensive, and much more painful than expected. Stay away.

    I felt inclined to leave another review since we can’t explain how much this team and office means to us. We understand that IVF doesn’t work for everyone and are lucky that it did for us. The Davies team was the perfect blend of science driven while being relationship first. Every appointment was so warm, understanding and professional! We are so grateful for the team as this was some of the hardest months of our lives! With the Davies team, they made this whole process way less stressful with their warm team and doctors. My wife and I are forever grateful for our little girl. We pray and wish the best for everyone that goes through IVF as it’s some of the hardest emotions to deal with! My only recommendations are to over-communicate with your spouse, stay positive and strong, get mental health support, and don’t be shy asking for help from the Davies team. Thank you, Davies team!

    We cannot thank Davies Fertility Center enough. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt their care, professionalism, and unwavering support. Aanal, Dr. Davies, Ryan, Shannon, Georgette, and every nurse and team member made us feel completely at ease. They celebrated every milestone with us and gave us strength on our hardest days.     The entire team is phenomenal. I switched to Davies Fertility after getting the wrong vibes from a very popular larger clinic. What I got at Davies Fertility that was missing from the other clinic was individual attention, family vibe in the office, more reassurance and opportunity to talk thru options with Dr Davies. In general, fertility treatments will appear very repetitive from cycle to cycle or person to person, but when you get down to the specifics, each person has a unique plan of attack, and Dr Davies, Aanal and the whole team make sure you feel like you’re on your own path with their attention to your specific needs. Highly recommend you give them a call.

    I was fortunate to find Dr. Davis. She and her team are highly skilled professionals who are efficient, focused, and meticulous. There were no unnecessary delays—the timing of every step was carefully planned. Our first egg retrieval produced no usable embryos, so we completed a second. Dr. Davis quickly adjusted the medication dosage, and in the next cycle we obtained six usable embryos. I truly believe she tailors treatment to each person's body—she combines scientific expertise with artistry. Dr. Davis is unquestionably the best doctor I have ever met. Thanks to her expertise and attentive care, I was able to give birth to a healthy, happy baby in my forties.

    Simply the best. I first tried to get a basic semen analysis across the street, but it required a primary care referral and would still be out of pocket. From day one, Davis Clinic kept everything organized and running smoothly. Every staff member was wonderful. We ultimately welcomed a beautiful, healthy, strong boy who just turned one. I am very grateful for the team's hard work and hope to have another baby with Davis Clinic soon.

    IVF is not easy. It can be emotionally draining and sometimes overwhelming, but Dr. Davis and her team made every step feel supportive and hopeful. From entering the lobby through every appointment, the clinic felt warm and comfortable. Every team member was gentle, thoughtful, and caring, especially when addressing the emotional challenges of fertility treatment. You genuinely feel cared for. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and professional and supported us tremendously throughout treatment. When we eventually transitioned to our obstetrician, I truly missed this team, which says a great deal about the quality of their care.     Words cannot express how grateful I am to Davis. Our little one was born last Friday, March 13, 2026, at 8:21 p.m. We are incredibly grateful for all the help and support that made our dream come true 🥹. Taking so many injections was not easy, but it was all worthwhile. Once you hold your baby, all the pain fades away. If you are unsure whether this is the right place for you, do not hesitate.     There are not enough words to describe how exceptional Dr. Davis and her team are. I had been to two other fertility clinics and hated both experiences. I had lost hope and wanted to give up. Finding Dr. Davis changed my whole world. She gave me the confidence, positivity, encouragement, compassion, and professionalism I truly needed. She assured me that nothing would stop us from having a second child. Communication among her staff is incredible, and I have never seen a medical office run as well as hers. They are the most organized, friendly, and outstanding staff I have encountered. Shannon and Georgette at the front desk are always warm and wonderful. Nurse Alyssa is always on top of things and knows her field. Whenever I had questions, Alyssa answered my calls and emails promptly. I am grateful for everything the entire team did for my husband and me. My message to anyone struggling with fertility is that this is the best place for you. They are everything you need and more.

    I am very grateful to Dr. Susan Davis and her wonderful team for helping me through a difficult time! Dr. Davis, Shannon, and the team were very friendly and helpful throughout my IVF journey. I especially appreciated that Dr. Davis took time to explain my condition and treatment options. I ultimately had twins and am surrounded by love every day. The doctor and team's approach truly reassured me, so I highly recommend this fertility specialty clinic.

    Worst doctor ever. She is very hands-off and does not communicate with patients. Her staff was no help; after leaving a message, I waited 5 days for a response to simple questions. Chicago has other excellent infertility centers. Do not waste your time and money here. Their treatment is also not individualized. They group patients together and perform all egg retrievals at the same time for their own convenience, disrupting your natural cycle to fit their schedule. They also perform retrievals only every two months. Communication with Dr. Davis was terrible. Speaking with her directly was nearly impossible. IUIs were also performed by nurses, at least when I was there. Transferring from this clinic to another was one of the best decisions I ever made. Response to Dr. Davis's comment: No, this was not an insurance issue at all. I had approved Aetna PPO coverage. I did not continue because of poor service and a misdiagnosis. I did not have fibroids, although you said your saline ultrasound showed fibroids and that I needed surgery! Thank God I was fortunate enough to seek a second opinion from a great doctor! My baby was born 8 weeks ago, and I felt I had to share my experience to help others find the right path.

    My partner and I sincerely thank Dr. Davis, Anar, Diana, and the entire team for their unwavering support and professionalism. Their assistance helped me navigate complicated insurance issues. Although I underwent 3 IVF cycles, they remained encouraging, and I am now pregnant.

    Very rude! I wanted to schedule an initial appointment but was told that if I did not want to become pregnant, there was no point in making one. I am exploring egg freezing, so I guess they do not want my business. They definitely need someone new handling intake!
