Dr. Stephan Krotz, United States
Dr. Krotz is an internationally recognized fertility physician and researcher credited with creating the first artificial human ovary.
This medical achievement received widespread recognition and was named one of TIME magazine's "Top 10 Medical Breakthroughs of 2010."
His passion for helping women with fertility and reproduction began while studying genetics at the University of California, Davis. This path led him to Northwestern University in Chicago, where he earned his medical degree.
Dr. Krotz completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Baylor College of Medicine. His subspecialty fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Brown University led to his groundbreaking research.
After working in academic and private settings in Houston, San Antonio, and the Boston area, Dr. Krotz founded Inovi Fertility & Genetics Institute in Houston, Texas, to provide outstanding patient care.
He is dual board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and obstetrics and gynecology.
