Dr. Toral Parikh is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) specialist. She completed her REI training at the world-renowned National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and trained with specialists at Shady Grove Fertility.
She completed her undergraduate education with honors at Emory University, earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and completed her OB/GYN residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Parikh was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute scholar, and research has remained central throughout her medical career. She has published relevant, cutting-edge research in peer-reviewed journals that advances women's reproductive health. She has presented her work at multiple national and international conferences and received a Society for Reproductive Investigation award for her recent work on the medical management of uterine fibroids.
She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the Society for Reproductive Investigation (SRI). Her clinical expertise includes assisted reproductive technologies such as intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), and fertility preservation (egg/sperm freezing). Her infertility expertise allows her to provide compassionate counseling, informed diagnoses, and equitable guidance to individuals and couples. Dr. Parikh is pleased to welcome Kindbody patients.

We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Parikh and all the outstanding staff at Kindbody Houston. From the front desk to Susan and Lynn and all the wonderful nurses, my husband and I felt we received the best care at every step. Dr. Parikh and Jenny provided a first-class experience, set clear expectations about all our options, and never pressured me toward any particular fertility path. I liked that the initial consultation was by video, while I could always find appointment times that fit my schedule for in-person visits and ultrasounds. I would go there again and strongly recommend the team and clinic. I feel fortunate to have an employer that gave us this opportunity to build our family!
One thing I found challenging was navigating the portal in a web browser. I often refreshed the messaging system hoping for a reply or billing update. A system like MyChart sends text notifications and keeps information updated. I hope they develop an app-based system in the future.
Again, the most important part of this experience is the relationship between us as patients and our providers. That experience was second to none, and I am grateful to build our family with Kindbody Houston.

Although I am happy to say the treatment was successful, our experience here was very mixed.
From our first appointment, the doctor's manner was poor. She quickly pushed IVF and did not want to consider other options. Any appointment where I asked questions was treated as a waste of her time.
Once we began treatment, after I insisted on trying the more conservative approach of IUI, we were transferred to an NP who was wonderful. She was very caring and always took time with us. In the end, she felt like family, and I was sad to leave. We were extremely fortunate to become pregnant on the first cycle!
Now that treatment is over, we are still fighting with billing. Our EOB does not match the bills we received. We received laboratory bills that we were told were included in the IUI package. We also just received bills from when we began this process more than 6 months ago. On top of that, my insurer denied claims that should have been covered because of poor communication with Kindbody.
I am happy with the outcome of treatment, but even happier that I do not have to return.

Dr. Parikh is very kind and helpful. Although the fertility process was extremely difficult, she helped my wife and me have our daughter. I had not seen her for more than nine months—our daughter is now two months old—and came to the clinic this time for a consultation about freezing. She immediately recognized me and remembered my wife's name. She truly cares about her patients and goes above and beyond to help. Highly recommended.

The Kindbody team goes above and beyond. The doctors are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but also show exceptional empathy and understanding in their care. This patient-centered approach makes a tremendous difference during what can be a highly emotional treatment process.
Beyond the medical expertise, every staff member, from the front desk to the nurses and support team, is kind, patient, and responsive. Communication is seamless, and you always feel like a valued individual rather than just a number. They go out of their way to make a potentially overwhelming treatment experience as smooth and positive as possible.
And a special bonus!! The entire team, especially Dr. Parikh, nurse Brandy, Taylor, the sonographer, and the embryologist, treated us like family. They provided compassionate and professional care throughout the process.

This review is not directed at the staff of the Houston Kindbody clinic. Overall, they are wonderful. My wife and I greatly enjoyed working with Dr. Parikh.
The problem is Kindbody's accounting. They are absolutely terrible. Be sure to know exactly what everything costs. Verify it and have them put it in writing—they will not. You will randomly receive invoices for $4,000, $7,000, or $11,000 without any explanation. Even if you request an itemized receipt, you will not receive one. They tried to charge us $4,700 for medication, but when my wife questioned it, we eventually discovered that the actual medication cost was only about $1,500. They do not respond, and when they do, they evade your questions.

I was impressed by the professionalism of the phlebotomist and nurse practitioner, but the overall communication was disappointing. Whenever I called with a question, I was told someone would call back or that a message had been sent, but follow-up was rare.
I am in the early and most sensitive stage of IVF, when timely, clear communication is essential. As a healthcare administrator, I understand the importance of communication, and I would not want any patient to experience this much stress during such a delicate process.
Billing was equally frustrating. I repeatedly heard ‘$50 copay and 20% coinsurance,’ but the 20% was never explained, and there was no clear breakdown of procedure or medication costs. Despite asking several times, I received no response.
This lack of clarity and responsiveness made an already stressful process even harder to manage.

I came to the clinic with almost no hope after many infertility medications and treatments had failed. From the moment I entered, the staff were warm, friendly, and respectful. Dr. Parikh and her team put me at ease. The doctor guided me through every step and recommended what was best for me. I followed her advice and finally had a positive pregnancy test. I cannot say enough good things about this fertility clinic and its entire team. From the moment I entered, every staff member made me feel genuinely cared for. It is rare to find a clinic where everyone—from the front desk to the nurses and doctors—is so warm and fully committed to helping patients through such a stressful and anxious time.
What impressed me most was the attentive care I received. During a pregnancy scare, my doctor contacted me several times over the weekend and even in the middle of the night. That level of dedication was deeply moving and meant so much during an anxious period. She also patiently explained every step of the treatment plan and the reasoning behind each decision, so I always felt reassured and supported. They also carefully considered my financial situation and worked to maximize my insurance coverage.
I have visited other fertility clinics, but this was by far my best experience. The clinic excels in medical expertise, compassion, and communication. I am very grateful that my employer partners with this clinic, giving me access to such a thoughtful and dedicated team. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone seeking fertility care.

My first concern is that the entire company, across all the states Kindbody serves, has only 1 African American doctor. I therefore chose an Indian doctor. My appointment was at 10:15 a.m. today. I logged in at 10:13 and waited until 10:18 before messaging someone that Dr. Toral Parikh had not joined the call. I logged in again, and she finally joined, but her clothes and hair were disheveled. Perhaps she had just gotten up and dressed. She did not introduce herself and immediately said, “Tell me about yourself.” Then she got up and walked around the house looking for her office. Just as I was about to introduce myself to a stranger, she suddenly said, “Hold on.” When she came back online and started speaking, I asked whether anyone else was on the call. She said yes, another person was there to help schedule my appointments. It would have been helpful to know that someone else was listening.
The entire experience made me very uncomfortable. She should have rescheduled my appointment.
If you are a woman of color, I do not recommend Kindbody. They lack representation and professionalism.

My fertility journey began in 2023 at Kind Body Clinic. Today, I have a 13-month-old daughter, all thanks to Dr. Parikh's attentive care. She is an incredibly compassionate doctor who truly listens to her patients. Whenever possible, she first tries the least invasive and most affordable treatment options before considering whether to proceed directly with IVF. I live an hour and a half away from the clinic, but I would still be willing to make that drive again to receive the dedicated care of Dr. Parikh and the entire Kind Body Clinic team. Highly recommended!

The nurse was very rude each time she escorted my wife out because I had not brought her in that morning. She claimed I was not family, even though I had come with her mother and had already been sitting there for four hours. The hospital facilities were good, the doctors were excellent, and the procedure went smoothly. The staff's attitude was simply unsettling in such a stressful situation.

The worst experience I have ever had. My wife and I endured 3 failed FETs. Perhaps I should not be upset because they said they were sorry. We began with high hopes and unfulfilled promises that these people cared or could do the job. I was pleased they recommended a partner pharmacy that could deliver the necessary prescriptions, only to discover it was itself a scam. They charged $1,073 for one medication that we later learned cost $12 at our local CVS. This happened with many medications whose benefits quickly ran out. We were never told or given the option to purchase them ourselves until we researched it. By then, one failed FET had become a second failed FET, all paid out of pocket. We never received a direct answer and/or professional assessment explaining the second failure. My wife had conceived naturally 4 times, so we were concerned about why they could not succeed. With high hopes, we invested more money and emotion in a third attempt. Sadly, it failed again. Apart from guessing, they could not explain why after the previous failures. I posted this 1-star review after the second failure. Kindbody did not respond in writing and instead called me so the public would not see anything. I am certain they will not respond in writing now. What could they say to dismiss this review without alarming others? I assume anyone reading this will question the credibility of the practice, especially with no response disputing my 1-star review.

After being advised to have a hysterectomy and give up on growing my family, I decided to begin a fertility journey. It was challenging because my insurance offered little help for nearly three years. I persisted until my insurer finally directed me to Kindbody to use my benefits.
From my first meeting with Dr. Parikh, I began to see hope during this difficult time. Dr. Parikh patiently answered all our questions and explained the next steps. The decision that IVF was the best approach made me anxious, but I chose to trust her. Despite my fears and concerns throughout the process, Dr. Parikh remained calm and even offered a comforting hand during a difficult moment in my retrieval. Regardless of my emotions, she consistently offered support and guidance as we moved forward.
On transfer day, despite my doubts, Dr. Parikh believed the procedure would succeed. Even with unexpected challenges, I will always appreciate her unwavering dedication.
I am extremely grateful to Dr. Parikh and the entire Kindbody team for their support through this seemingly endless journey. The comfort, support, laughter, and even tears shared with Dr. Parikh, Jimika, Taylor, Benita, and the other wonderful Kindbody staff will always hold a special place in my heart. Thanks to the persistence of Dr. Parikh and the Kindbody team, I am delighted to announce that our baby is due this December!
