Dr. Mushayandebvu specializes in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, gynecology, and oncofertility. He is the founder of Hudson IVF in Jersey City, New Jersey. His practice is affiliated as a satellite of University Reproductive Associates in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey.
Professionally, he is affiliated with several hospitals and medical centers in the region, including Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Jersey City Medical Center, Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Saint Michael's Medical Center, Hoboken University Medical Center, Hudson Regional Hospital, and Christ Hospital. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine degree from the University of Zimbabwe; LRCP and LRCS credentials from the Royal Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons of Edinburgh, Scotland (the Scottish Triple Qualification, equivalent to an MD); and an MD from the State University of New York Board of Regents.
He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency through Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons at Harlem Hospital Center in New York. He then completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey–New Jersey Medical School in Newark under Drs. Gerson Weiss and Nanette Santoro.
Dr. Mushayandebvu is triple board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Musha was among the first gynecologists in the United States to become board-certified in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS). ABOG is a nonprofit organization that provides board certification to practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
Reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) is a surgical subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology that trains physicians in reproductive medicine, including reproductive hormonal function and infertility. Although most REI specialists focus primarily on infertility treatment, reproductive endocrinologists are also trained to evaluate and treat hormonal disorders in women. Oncofertility is an interdisciplinary field at the intersection of oncology and reproductive medicine that expands fertility options for cancer survivors.
Dr. Mushayandebvu belongs to numerous professional organizations, including the Endocrine Society, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and Society of Gynecologic Oncology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Musha is also a member of the Michigan State University (MSU) Oncofertility Consortium.
