Dr. Li-Shei Lin, United States
Dr. Li-Shei Lin is described by her patients as compassionate, kind, and attentive while providing excellent medical care and advanced ART/IVF technology. She uniquely balances science with compassion for patients navigating the difficult family-building process. Before joining Reproductive Partners Fertility Center – San Diego, Dr. Lin served for more than 20 years as chief of reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Kaiser Permanente San Diego. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
As a clinical professor at the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Lin has long been active in teaching REI fellows. With Dr. Jeffery Chang, she teaches unique and rare reproductive endocrinology cases in a tertiary referral clinic. Her didactic, patient-sensitive style supports active learning and has received praise. She is recognized as an excellent surgeon and teacher in the operating room.
Dr. Lin earned her MD and PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital and her reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Lin speaks Mandarin and Taiwanese.
Dr. Lin’s interests include polycystic ovary syndrome, diminished ovarian reserve, recurrent miscarriage, unexplained infertility, egg freezing/embryo storage, and fertility preservation.
Dr. Lin enjoys cooking, gardening, and painting.
