If you want any reassurance during your cycle or feel uncomfortable constantly searching Google, do not use this place. Communication is almost nonexistent. No additional information is provided. Questions go unanswered. Nothing is explained, only general instructions about what to do and when. I am disappointed. You are just a dollar on their balance sheet. If you do not want to feel that way, go elsewhere. At any other doctor's office or clinic, I would expect someone to call after a procedure to discuss the results. Do not expect that here. I had not planned to write this review, but I just received another unexpected laboratory bill. People in other reviews praise the doctor, and that may be true if you actually see them. I certainly did not, apart from a quick hello before my procedure.

They struggle even more with communication involving clinical staff; the only responses you receive come from reception. Unfortunately, I would not recommend them if you need clarity or details about next steps, because they take a long time to return calls or may not return them at all. I tried to move a virtual appointment one hour earlier because of an issue, but they could not accommodate it.

Do not set foot in this place. Dr. Duke and her staff are the most impersonal, unprofessional, and insensitive group I have encountered. They do not care about you or your sensitive circumstances; they only want your money. Do not be fooled by their “package” rates. There are extra out-of-pocket charges at every step. Providing insurance information is pointless because they submit bills for outside laboratories not included in the package without notifying you and list you as uninsured. You will spend time calling laboratories and pharmacies to submit your own insurance information and repeatedly asking the office for prior authorizations even when they claim to have communicated with the pharmacy. Their rushed, disorganized system forced me to pay for medication out of pocket just to start my cycle on time. They give you a calendar and expect you to begin medication within a day or two, which is nearly impossible while dealing with specialty pharmacies, insurance, and prior authorization. Most staff are unhelpful. Apart from egg retrieval, your interaction with Dr. Duke is mostly virtual. She is unreachable except for procedures. It is an extremely impersonal experience. Even her staff apologized on her behalf and agreed that these processes were ridiculous. The financial department does nothing except harass you for payment. They cannot submit claims correctly and consistently list patients as “self-pay” or “uninsured,” which amazed me because they firmly required both my and my husband's insurance cards at the outset. Yet they never used that information when submitting claims. Bottom line: stay away! Go elsewhere for infertility evaluation and treatment. This place is terrible!

Terrible service. It is very unfortunate that such a great physician has such poor staff coordinating her office. I truly wanted the opportunity to work with Dr. Duke, but her staff made it impossible. Communication was lacking; I spoke with two or three people but was never transferred to anyone who could help. They did not return calls as requested, falsely claimed not to have received emails, falsely claimed to have spoken for other providers, submitted an insurance authorization, and then failed to cancel it when the procedure did not occur. I told them I did not want to proceed, yet three months later they decided to continue processing paperwork involving another clinic treating me. I wish I had received the requested call so I would not have had to share this here.

I absolutely love this place and its staff. Cindy Duke is very compassionate and truly listens. She is by far the best physician I have seen. Her entire staff is pleasant and caring and always tries to answer all your questions. IVF is a difficult process, and having staff who listen and do their best to help is very important. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Disclaimer: My wife and I are expecting our first child after completing IVF with NFI, so the process has been a success for us. That being said, the entire process of IUI and IVF is stressful enough as-is, and NFI just adds onto that stress. We're blessed to have IVF covered through our insurance, but we still had to come out of pocket over $10k for various tests, medications, unexpected fees, etc. It was a common occurance to arrive for one of our appointments and be told we owe $100-$300, due immediately, for some undiscussed reason. They would often fail to send time sensitive prescriptions to our pharmacies in a timely manner, leading to us scrambling between NFI, insurance, and the pharmacy to get necessary medications to continue our process. They have the worst timing. You can tell them months in advance that you're not available to do XYZ part of the process/cycle for one week in the next 6 months, and they'll seemingly intentionally schedule critical care moments during that week. This happened multiple times, so it wasn't a one off. The doctors and nurses are friendly but often make mistakes or do not listen to patients. As examples: One time they stuck my wife in both arms and both hands to get an IV line going, blowing her veins and causing pain for weeks. Giving incomplete or incorrect results over the phone. Not listening during the IVF procedures to my wife's levels of discomfort, something that could have been easily remedied but was ignored. Just to list a few more negative experiences: They would constantly send our medications to the wrong pharmacy when we'd remind them each time that our insurance only covers a certain pharmacy for specialty meds. We'd have to spend hours canceling the order at the wrong pharmacy so that the correct one could process the prescription. They used to have decent communication but it got steadily worse over the years. The final straw was when they switched to using a 3rd party answering service that isn't in office and not a part of the nursing staff. They're terrible and will transfer you endlessly and refuse to connect you to the on-staff agents. As for the positives: The office is nice and clean. Everyone in the office is friendly when in person, especially the front desk. They're knowledgeable about the procedures and can obviously get results but they'll make you pull your hair (and wallet) out every step of the way. We're grateful that the IVF process has come so far, and NFI helped us achieve something we never could on our own, but they really need a revamp of almost every process and training they have or they'll continue to hurt and burn their clients.

I was shocked to see so many negative reviews. I completed two IVF cycles here with Nevada Fertility Center during 2024–2025, from the beginning to the end of the year. My team members—Laura, Stephanie, Nas, Kaide, Christine O'Bryan, and others—were very kind and patient. I had a great deal of anxiety and many questions and was afraid of the journey. They always took time to answer my countless questions and clarify anything I did not understand. I can understand why some patients feel they “did not receive enough information,” because the women are busy and may need time to respond, but they always answer when you ask. Dr. Duke was open, honest, compassionate, and reassuring from day one, especially after I was devastated by my first failed cycle. I finally became pregnant on the second cycle and am extremely grateful to Dr. Duke and her team. I could not have asked for a better doctor. I hope the team knows how hard you all work. My husband and I truly appreciate your hard work and dedication to changing lives and helping families grow. I personally gave individual gifts to the staff to show my appreciation. I believe patients should consider the staff's position as well. They can do only so much, and some things cannot be rushed or done instantly. Thank you, Dr. Duke and staff. ♡ Edsall

Do not go here! I received terrible service from the team. Alex/Ibrahim is the most incompetent finance team member I have ever encountered. I repeatedly contacted them to correct insurance billing, but there was still no follow-up four months later. If you want added financial stress caused by staff incompetence, go here. Otherwise, find another organization that knows what it is doing. Dr. Duke, you need to find a competent finance team.

Do not go here! Before my husband and I started IVF, he had a semen analysis here. It took them two months to provide the results. We called several times every week and were told we had to wait for the doctor to sign off before they could release them. How can a doctor be unable to sign off for two months!? Fortunately, our experience was so poor that we did not pursue IVF here. We went to FCLV and had a wonderful experience. Fertility treatment is highly time-sensitive and requires staff and doctors to stay on top of everything and provide results quickly. Given their inability to handle a basic test such as a semen analysis, I would never trust them with IUI/IVF. We also have friends who had a terrible IVF experience here, and when they tried to transfer their embryos to a new clinic, they said NFI made the process a nightmare. If you are spending a large amount on fertility treatment, go somewhere you trust!

We had been trying for the past few months to schedule an in-person consultation with this clinic. Last week, the clinic called a few hours before our appointment to say Dr. Duke's surgery was running late and the appointment needed to be rescheduled. That was understandable, and they moved it to 5:00 p.m. the following week. That day, I received an email stating the appointment was at 4:30 p.m., so I adjusted my schedule. I checked in for the 20-minute consultation, but no one joined. I called, left a voicemail, and sent a text asking whether I should continue waiting. No one replied until 5:30 p.m., after I had waited an hour, to tell me Dr. Duke was unavailable and that they would call the next day to reschedule. In addition, the clinic website says they offer free second-opinion consultations, but they would not schedule me until I paid a $50 copay and provided a referral from my primary care physician (PCP). I do not understand why a referral was required for a second opinion when we had already visited other IVF clinics. At this point, I only hope to get my money back and move on to another LV clinic because this experience has been very frustrating and consistent with much of what I have heard about NFI.

I waited over a year to post this review, but I have finally had enough. Communication at this clinic has been poor from the start. In June 2024, they sent my bloodwork to the wrong laboratory, and I have received bills from Quest totaling nearly $3,000 ever since. For over a year, I have called, texted, emailed, and even visited the clinic in person, but nothing has been resolved. Their only solution is to place the bill on hold for 45 days, after which it immediately returns. This cycle has continued for more than a year. The stress, wasted time, and complete lack of accountability have been exhausting. This clinic serves vulnerable people, and its handling of this issue has been terrible. If this is how they communicate and take responsibility for mistakes, I cannot recommend entrusting them with your medical care. I believe there was a brief period when I was happy with the clinic and liked the doctor, but now we are back here again.

After spending so much on lab work, being unable to communicate with a doctor makes me not want to continue working with you. This is serious. It is concerning that your technology has failed so many times without any effort to fix it.

The lack of communication and care at this clinic is shocking. I do not know how it is still operating. I had scheduled a second visit. My first impression was very positive: the staff were friendly, and the nurse practitioner at the initial consultation was informative and candid, which I appreciated. However, everything deteriorated after that first and only consultation. The doctor recommended a polypectomy in hopes of improving my chances of conceiving naturally. In short, it never happened. After a month of difficulty arranging the procedure, they canceled it the day before, saying, 'My insurance has not yet approved the procedure.' I had already made work and family arrangements. I understand that prior authorization is required before surgery, but they had a full month to obtain it. I have worked in a clinic for ten years and am familiar with billing and prior authorizations. The next day, my insurer told me no authorization request had been submitted. I tried calling the office, but the phone line was disconnected, which seems to be a pattern. I did not hear from the office until a month later, when they asked whether I wanted to reschedule. No one provided any updates for an entire month. Meanwhile, I was told to take oral contraceptives, which made me feel awful. I continued for about 2 cycles, hoping the procedure would still happen. When they eventually asked whether I wanted to reschedule, I decided not to have surgery at this questionable clinic. We also still have not received the results of my husband's semen analysis from two months ago. I requested access, but nothing has been posted. I wonder whether self-pay patients are treated differently from insured patients. I cannot be sure, but patient-centered care is clearly lacking.

They never answer the phone, and it is impossible to have my samples sent to another clinic.
    Jan 28, 2026
They have closed, apparently because they failed to pay rent. The phone line has been busy for a week. I called this clinic last year, and they were so unreliable it was hard to believe. I cannot imagine the pain and despair I would feel if we had gone there and then learned my embryos might be lost because they had not paid the rent. If you are a new patient—run! If you are already a patient—contact a lawyer immediately!

I have worked with several fertility clinics over the years. Doctors at other clinics warned me that this clinic was bad, but I did not listen. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. They made so many mistakes that it amounted to malpractice.

I truly wish I had read the reviews before coming here. Be sure to check the Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating—they have an F, and it is well deserved. Like many others, NFI refused to issue a refund after being unable to arrange remote bloodwork and ultrasounds for my wife and me. For the past 9 months, they have kept promising that the refund was ‘under review,’ and now they have stopped responding altogether. If you decide to use this organization—I cannot stress this enough—do not pay anything in advance.
