Dr. Andrew Harper, USA
A Huntsville native, Dr. Andrew Harper is dedicated to helping couples overcome infertility. In 2003, he founded Huntsville Reproductive Medicine, North Alabama's first full-time reproductive endocrinology practice dedicated to infertility treatment. His goal is to provide fertility care of the highest quality with compassion, communication, and consistency. Huntsville Reproductive Medicine established a state-of-the-art in vitro fertilization (IVF) center to provide advanced assisted conception services.
As a reproductive endocrinologist, Dr. Harper completed a 4-year obstetrics and gynecology residency at Baylor College of Medicine and a 3-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Washington.
Dr. Harper has authored multiple manuscripts and abstracts on human reproduction, including the 2001 Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI) Prize Paper, “Is the Short Follicular Phase in Older Women Secondary to Advanced or Accelerated Dominant Follicle Development?”
His work has been published in the International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics, Seminars in Reproductive Endocrinology, and The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.
