Dr. Chamoun relocated to Brevard County in 1996 after completing his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Pennsylvania State University, and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Maryland. He founded the first infertility practice in Brevard County and introduced in vitro fertilization in 1999. Dr. Chamoun is currently the medical director of Viera Fertility Center in Melbourne. He provides families with personalized care and state-of-the-art resources for reproductive care.
Dr. Chamoun has extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various endocrinologic and reproductive disorders. His interests include general infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome, recurrent pregnancy loss, and assisted reproduction. He also specializes in minimally invasive procedures including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.
Dr. Chamoun is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART). He has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles in leading scientific journals and has lectured at national meetings.

Dr. Chamoun takes his time with us and is always patient and thorough when answering our many questions. The nurses are compassionate and quick to respond to any messages, which has made this process feel much less overwhelming. Every member of the team has been exceptional. We’re still in the midst of treatment, but we feel very optimistic and so grateful that we chose Viera Fertility Center.

Terrible billing. Months after our last visit, I unexpectedly received an unexplained text today. When I called, Heather Kruse rudely lectured me. I wonder whether Dr. Chamoun knows how patients are treated. I am very disappointed and would not want this to happen to friends or family, so I will never recommend Viera Fertility again.

My wife and I decided to have a child and were referred to Dr. Chaumon and Viera Fertility Center. We were nervous because I was too old to carry a pregnancy and had other concerns.
From our first appointment through establishing a due date, we felt like family. The wonderful staff explained everything, supported us, and provided advice and guidance.
We loved the energy and culture. Everyone welcomed and supported us at each visit. We underwent many processes and procedures, trying my eggs, my wife’s eggs, and more.
Despite repeated disappointments, this excellent professional team always supported us.
Dr. Chaumon explained everything clearly and concisely, including every aspect, relevant variables, and all options.
After nearly a year and a half, our last embryo succeeded, and we now have a beautiful baby boy. Arlo turns 4 months old tomorrow!
I tell everyone asking about IUI or IVF to see Dr. C and the team. These women helped us through with dedication, bedside manner, experience, knowledge, and personality. We love them all!

The staff at Viera Fertility Center are wonderful! I had only a few monitoring appointments, but each visit was friendly and pleasant. The front desk was organized, professional, and efficient; the waiting area was always clean; and the clinical team was friendly with excellent bedside manner.
I also reached staff immediately whenever I called, which was very important to me. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

Dr. Chaumon and his team did an outstanding job helping us conceive successfully. From check-in to discharge, the nurses were very encouraging and made me feel at ease throughout the process. We hope to start trying for our next baby soon and look forward to another equally positive experience.

Viera Fertility helped my wife and me welcome our first baby after four IVF cycles, three of which were completed at different clinics in Florida. I will never forget Dr. Chamoun asking whether we “wanted to try something new” after all our previous attempts had failed. We sincerely appreciate their hard work and dedication to helping families achieve their dream of having a baby! Special thanks to Becky, Dr. Chamoun, and, of course, the outstanding embryology team!

I worked with Dr. Chamoun and his excellent team on and off for several years. I am only now writing a review because I recently had to switch clinics when Viera Fertility was not in the IVF insurance network my employer began offering in 2022. I transferred to a larger IVF clinic, and the difference was striking. It felt less personalized and more mechanical, and I truly felt like a number rather than a patient.
I know this may be common at large clinics, but it is unfortunate.
I never felt that way with Dr. Chamoun and his team. Shelley, by the way, is amazing. He is the most compassionate, empathetic, and thoughtful doctor I have met. He listens, asks questions about your treatment or test results, offers options, and respects your thoughts and feedback.
If you are working with Dr. Chamoun, consider yourself fortunate because you will receive expert care.

Dr. Chamoun and his team are by far the best clinic I have worked with. I first came to them at the lowest point in my life after struggling to conceive. Dr. Chamoun was very gentle and listened carefully. He told me we would get through it together, and we did. They performed testing and diagnosed me, after which my husband and I completed three cycles of timed intercourse, three intrauterine insemination (IUI) cycles, and finally in vitro fertilization (IVF). Our first embryo implanted successfully, and we now have a son who will turn two in less than a month. We are now returning to Dr. Chamoun and his team for another embryo transfer.
His team is highly organized and supported me at every step. I honestly cannot praise them enough. During my last pregnancy, I even remember wishing I could stay with them forever!
Thanks to Dr. Chamoun and his excellent team, I finally have a family. They completely changed my life. I highly recommend Viera Fertility.
