Dr. Robert Rydze, United States
Dr. Rydze earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry from Macalester College in Minnesota. He was a four-year varsity cross-country and track athlete and remains an avid runner. He returned to his home state of Iowa for medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, graduating with research distinction. He then specialized in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, serving as administrative chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Rydze continued at Baylor for subspecialty training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. During his fellowship, he also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI). His research focused on factors controlling oocyte (egg) development in the ovary. He is the lead author of several peer-reviewed publications and co-authored a book chapter on the ovary. Dr. Rydze is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and a reviewer for Fertility and Sterility.
Dr. Rydze, his wife, and their two children are pleased to return to the Midwest, be closer to family, and join the Milwaukee community. He looks forward to helping couples achieve their fertility goals.
