Dr. Vidushi Sood, United States
Vidushi Sood, MD, is an endocrinologist at UW Health and a clinical associate professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She cares for patients with a range of hormone-related conditions and bone health concerns.
Dr. Sood commonly treats hormonal disorders involving the thyroid, adrenal glands, and pituitary gland. These may include diabetes, thyroid and pituitary disorders, inherited hormonal disorders, ovarian and testicular disorders, and bone health conditions. Her special clinical interests include osteoporosis and polycystic ovary syndrome, or PCOS, in which the ovaries produce abnormally high androgen levels that can make conception difficult.
Dr. Sood provides personalized care tailored to each patient. She listens carefully to understand their concerns and goals and explains their condition and treatment options. Her comprehensive approach addresses all of a patient's concerns to improve health. She enjoys helping people feel better and finds it especially meaningful to help patients sleep better or become pregnant.
Outside work, Dr. Sood enjoys reading, traveling, walking, and spending time in nature.
