Dr. Jamie Morris, United States
Dr. Jamie Morris became interested in reproductive endocrinology while practicing as an OB/GYN and seeing how an infertility diagnosis affected her patients. “It can be shocking. No one expects to have fertility problems,” she says. “Medically, emotionally, and psychologically, it is a different kind of diagnosis.”
Dr. Morris saw specializing in infertility as a way to offer more of herself to patients, so she left private practice to complete a reproductive endocrinology fellowship. She joined RMA in 2002.
Dr. Morris is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and OB/GYN and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and her internship and residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, working directly with RMANJ's founding partners. Dr. Morris then joined Associates in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Livingston, New Jersey, where she practiced privately. She earned a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and an MD from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia.
“I love working here because I can help my patients become pregnant,” Dr. Morris says. “We give them daily face-to-face time with physicians, along with strong technology, excellent clinical care, and all the latest advances. It is the best in the world.”
