Named one of the nation's best teaching residents in an obstetrics and gynecology survey
Dr. Galina Karpenko is a board-certified physician with more than 25 years of experience in reproductive health and infertility treatment. Dr. Karpenko earned her medical degree in Russia and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology there. She conducted extensive research in female infertility and worked with a pioneering Russian team in tubal reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Karpenko also worked as a clinical manager and IVF coordinator for an IVF program in New York City before completing an obstetrics and gynecology residency at New York Methodist Hospital. She was named one of the nation's best teaching residents in an obstetrics and gynecology survey. Dr. Karpenko's research paper on thrombophilia and assisted reproductive technology received an award from the New York Obstetrical Society in 2006.
Dr. Karpenko joined U.S. Fertility Services in 2006 as medical director of the rzjz program, where she successfully treated thousands of patients with infertility and gynecologic conditions.
