Dr. Paula Brady, United States
Paula Brady, MD, earned her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her OB/GYN residency at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women's Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital, where she was selected in her first year to lead resident educational activities. She then completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Brady has published extensively on assisted reproduction and early pregnancy and presented her findings at national and international conferences. While still a fellow, she wrote the textbook Handbook of Consult and Inpatient Gynecology (Springer, 2016). Before medical training, she earned a BA in English from Yale University and an MFA in poetry from Boston University, and she developed a successful grant-funded arts and humanities program for medical trainees.
Dr. Brady is deeply committed to personalized fertility evaluation and treatment and has special interests in fertility preservation, ovarian reserve testing, diminished ovarian reserve, ovulatory disorders, and IVF. She is also director of the oncofertility program at the Columbia University Fertility Center and has expertise in fertility preservation for patients diagnosed with cancer, oocyte and embryo cryopreservation, and fertility evaluation and treatment for men and women after cancer.
