Dr. Elizabeth Dilday, United States


Dr. Elizabeth Dilday is double board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

 

After completing her degree in history from Princeton University, Dr. Dilday received her Pre-Medical Certificate from the Bryn Mawr College Post Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program in Pennsylvania. She received her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and completed her residency in ob/gyn at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where she was administrative chief resident 2018-2019. She subsequently completed her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California–Los Angeles.

 

Dr. Dilday is currently a reviewer for both the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics and Fertility and Sterility and has served in multiple leadership roles in organized medicine, including her current position on the Woodrow Wilson High School Medicine & Biotechnology Advisory Board.

 

She has presented at numerous national conferences, including American Society of Reproductive Medicine Scientific Congress and Expo. Additionally, her research has been featured in peer-reviewed journals on a variety of topics, including cryopreservation outcomes for transgender patients, endometriosis, and treatment of cervical ectopic pregnancies. Dr. Dilday was also named a Castle Connolly Rising Star in 2023-2024.

 

In her free time, Dr. Dilday loves to stay active by running and swimming, and she enjoys playing water polo, previously serving as two-year co-captain of Princeton’s water polo team. She completed the Los Angeles Marathon in both 2015 and 2022. Additionally, she enjoys adventure traveling and is an alumnus of the National Outdoor Leadership School. She is passionate about music and loves playing the piano and singing, including participating in the a cappella group at the Keck School of Medicine.

    Back in March, I chose CCRM Newport for egg freezing. My partner and I have now chosen them again for a new IVF freeze-all cycle—frozen embryos!—because we were so impressed by our experience. Dr. Dilday is an absolute pleasure. She is highly knowledgeable and excels at giving patients the information they need to make their own decisions. For example, she felt I might benefit from one additional day of stimulation but ultimately left the choice to me. Everyone else at the clinic, including Doris, Briza, Lauren, and Kayla, is warm and knowledgeable. Finally, the facility itself is gorgeous! It feels modern, extremely clean, and comfortable. On retrieval day, I even received a warm pillow and blanket directly from the linen warmer—small details that make a huge difference! We are incredibly happy with our choice of clinic and trust them completely with this unique, life-changing process.

    If you are looking for a fertility doctor, look no further. Dr. Dilday is the best! I loved her from the beginning, and she was excellent at every appointment through the end of my process. She is kind, knowledgeable, an excellent listener, and has an amazing bedside manner. Dr. Dilday made my partner and me feel safe and comfortable during treatment. I would recommend her to anyone seeking fertility treatment. Everything about this facility is wonderful. The medical facility is spotless and easy to reach, parking is simple, and the medical office validates parking. Everyone else in the office is just as kind as Dr. Dilday!

    My experience with Dr. Dilday and CCRM was very positive. The team truly cares about you, and you feel supported from beginning to end. At one appointment, they were very happy about one of my ultrasound scans, and my partner noticed how supportive they were. I also highly recommend CCRM and its outpatient team.

    CCRM Newport is truly an excellent medical facility. It is extremely clean and easy to reach and park at, and overall I had a wonderful patient experience from day one. Dr. Dilday is the most positive, helpful, and welcoming doctor I have met, which made my husband and me feel very comfortable when we came in last year.     With fertility, we cannot choose the path it takes us down, but we can choose who walks it with us. I will always be grateful that we chose Dr. Abhari and his team to guide us along a difficult but rewarding path. I wholeheartedly recommend CCRM Newport Beach. Dr. Abhari and his team—Brooke, Brisa, Roxana, Bailey, and Mayra—gave us genuine support and reassurance throughout our fertility journey. After struggling with unexplained infertility and feeling overlooked at three Phoenix clinics, we traveled to Newport Beach for IVF and had a completely different experience. We underwent three egg retrievals and one fresh transfer that resulted in a biochemical pregnancy. Our first frozen embryo transfer has now reached 11 weeks! Dr. Abhari’s kindness and support during the biochemical pregnancy were invaluable. He helped us process our feelings and remain focused on our goal. He explained every step clearly, giving us greater confidence in our decisions. The personal attention at CCRM truly stood out. Unlike other clinics where we felt like just another patient, we consistently saw Dr. Abhari for ultrasounds and appointments. This continuity of care made a major difference.     I had a wonderful experience at CCRM. From check-in onward, the staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. The excellent workplace culture shows in everyone’s attentiveness and support. Registered nurse Brooke was incredible. She closely monitored my medication and kept communication seamless by email and phone, making the IVF journey easier to understand. Dr. Abhari is truly the best. He is hands-on and transparent and makes every effort to ensure patients understand each step. He also makes you feel welcome and comfortable, which I greatly appreciated. The phlebotomist also made every visit smooth and easy. The IVF modules were excellent and helped me understand every detail of the journey. CCRM has a wonderful team that makes a challenging process more manageable. I am very grateful for their support!

    We are so grateful to have found Dr. Dilday and the outstanding team at CCRM. After consulting two fertility physicians, Dr. Dilday came highly recommended, and our experience with her and her staff has been exceptional. From our first telehealth consultation, we were impressed by how well her schedule worked with ours and by the excellent slide presentation reviewing the entire process. Although I had done my research, my husband needed it, and it made everything feel less stressful and more welcoming. What truly impressed us, however, was the woman at the front desk. She is an absolute gem and truly the heart of the office. From the moment we walked in, her kindness, warmth, and genuine care made the experience smoother. She always welcomed us with a smile, and her ability to make us feel welcome and comfortable was invaluable. In a world where front-desk staff can sometimes seem distant or rushed, she is a true asset and helps set the tone for the entire visit. Throughout this journey, I have prayed to God for a smooth and supportive process as we work toward our little miracle. So far, my prayers have been answered. Although the journey is not inexpensive and has involved long drives and sacrifices to my work schedule, Dr. Dilday and her excellent team have made everything easier and more manageable. Their communication is consistently clear, and we have never felt uninformed. Special recognition goes to the office staff for supporting my husband when he fainted during a blood draw last Friday. They handled it gracefully and completely reassured us despite some embarrassment. My husband left feeling supported and cared for by everyone. We are very grateful to Dr. Dilday and her team for making the entire experience easier and more comfortable.     This review is for the billing department. I froze my eggs at this location in 2021 and have stored them there. Unfortunately, there is no transparency around storage charges. CCRM keeps saying my payments are overdue, which is untrue, so I requested billing and payment records by email and phone. They never provide the requested information and simply do not answer calls or return voicemails in billing. They threaten collections while refusing to provide any billing or payment history. I have moved away from Orange County and cannot visit in person. My eggs are essentially being held hostage. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

    We are so grateful to Dr. Abhari and the entire CCRM team! From our first meeting through our “graduation,” we had the absolute best experience. Everyone was kind, attentive, understanding, and went above and beyond. They called after hours, spent plenty of time reviewing details and medications, and always answered questions quickly.     My experience at CCRM was excellent, and I feel fortunate to be treated by Dr. Abhari. He is warm, approachable, and highly professional—the kind of doctor who immediately makes you feel safe and understood. Dr. Abhari explains every option honestly and objectively, and his recommendations are based entirely on your best interests, never financial incentives. He is empathetic, open-minded, and humorous, making an overwhelming process much easier. He naturally adapts to your tone and emotional state, so every conversation feels genuine and supportive.     This is my second pregnancy with this clinic. The staff are unmatched. Both doctors have treated me and are excellent. They are kind, explain everything, and, most importantly, are highly skilled. IVF, particularly retrieval, is a hormonal dance requiring precise timing. I was not an easy patient this cycle; my hormone level was the highest the doctor had seen in her career, and overstimulation was a major risk. She changed the protocol, and I ultimately obtained multiple embryos! The nurses are equally talented and hardworking. Brooke was my nurse for the second cycle and kept everything organized, even answering emails on weekends. She is a superstar. I am deeply grateful for this clinic and its staff, who operate like a well-run machine.

    Everyone here will make your experience exceptional. I am 23 years old and was very afraid of freezing my eggs, which was necessary because I have only one ovary remaining. From my first appointment, the care team was outstanding and extremely supportive. Dr. Abhari is kind and knowledgeable. He explains everything in detail without making you feel rushed. It is obvious that he cares about his patients. Michelle is an excellent nurse with a big heart, and she does not realize how positively she affected my experience. Brooke helped answer all my questions and concerns almost every day. She is amazing!! Bailey was very helpful with finances and applying for grants, and she was very patient. I am extremely grateful for my experience with everyone at CCRM Newport!

    After losing our daughter at 21 weeks of pregnancy, my husband and I were devastated and struggled to conceive again. I will not pretend that IVF is an easy journey, but if I had to do it again, I would choose Dr. Dilday. She is amazing, and I wish she could always be my regular OB-GYN. When speaking with her, you can truly tell that she is a gifted doctor, and her personality is like a ray of sunshine. Thanks to her, Keara, and the CCRM team, our family will soon be complete. If you are comparing clinics, CCRM has its own laboratory upstairs, which reassured me because your eggs and embryos are not transferred elsewhere.     After a difficult experience at my first infertility clinic, I am incredibly grateful I found this one. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff made me feel welcome and kept the process smooth. The clinical staff and nurses were consistently thoughtful, thorough, and kind. They never made me feel rushed and always ensured my questions were answered. PA Keara is wonderful. She is compassionate and knowledgeable and always explains the next steps clearly and reassuringly. Dr. Dilday's expertise and caring approach truly set this clinic apart.     I came here only once for remote monitoring—lab work and an ultrasound—but the experience was smooth. There had been a communication problem with my primary clinic, so CCRM Newport had almost no advance notice, yet they still scheduled the necessary testing for the next day. I truly appreciated it. Tips for first-time visitors: 1) The address in Waze took me to a street without access to the clinic, so I had to make three right turns to reach the actual entrance. If this happens to you, do not panic, but allow extra travel time. 2) Parking is in a separate lot. Ask at the front desk and the clinic will validate it, so you do not need to pay.

    I am extremely pleased with Dr. Dierdre. She is always warm and welcoming and genuinely cares for her patients. Before my procedure, I nearly cried while she spoke to me because I could truly feel how much she cared about me and my reproductive health.     Hello, I am using a pseudonym to protect your privacy. I have a question for you: Would you be willing to work with a man to create IVF embryos using donor eggs? He wants to donate all the embryos to Snowflakes Embryo Adoption rather than use them himself. He hopes to continue his maternal grandparents' bloodline because they have very few descendants—one cousin died as a child in the 1980s, and the cousin's father had no more children before dying 15 years later—and his maternal grandfather was an only child. However, he strongly wishes to avoid parental responsibility if possible. He would like to be a sperm donor, even an open donor, but unfortunately does not qualify for anonymous donation because he has autism, ADHD, anxiety, an arrhythmia, mild obesity, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. He may or may not qualify as an open donor, but the question is whether anyone would accept a donor like him, even though he graduated from a good university. He therefore believes that creating embryos with donor eggs and donating them immediately afterward is the best way to leave his maternal grandparents a biological legacy after his death. Would you truly be willing to work with a man like this?

    You will not find a better clinic than CCRM! I tell everyone how amazing this clinic and its staff are. We cannot believe how fortunate we were to find Dr. Abhari. He is not only highly skilled but genuinely caring, warm, and welcoming, making you feel that you and your family truly matter to him. The entire CCRM team makes you feel that they are pursuing the same goal alongside you. I left my first fertility clinic in tears. A year later, I found CCRM and was immediately won over by their care. We are fortunate to have a family thanks to a successful embryo transfer at CCRM. They gave us the precious gift of our daughter. We are currently experiencing difficulty conceiving naturally, and CCRM has remained beside us, supporting us through these challenges and helping us seek answers. Although our story is not over, we trust CCRM and Dr. Abhari to continue supporting us as we build our family. We feel very fortunate to be in their care and deeply grateful that our fertility journey ultimately led us to them.

    Although I truly like Dr. Abhari and physician assistant Keara, who is the best person there, I would hesitate to recommend this clinic. The nurses, medical assistants, and administrative team are not very welcoming. Billing is a nightmare. My primary clinic is also a CCRM location, where I have seen billing handled smoothly. I have been waiting for a refund since November 2025. I repeatedly contact their billing specialist, but responses are slow and resolving my concerns takes a long time. I even have bills from July 2025 that still have not appeared in my account, so I cannot pay them. Be very careful when dealing with them!

    We had an absolutely wonderful experience with CCRM Newport Beach. From start to finish, every appointment was seamless, organized, and stress-free, which made a significant difference during an already emotional journey. Dr. Abhari is truly fantastic—knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly attentive. I always felt heard and supported. Keara, the PA, and all the nurses and medical assistants were equally amazing. They were kind and patient and always took time to answer every question, no matter how small. What stood out most was how caring and responsive the entire team was. You never feel alone; they are there for you every step of the way. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking a fertility team that is both highly skilled and genuinely caring and supportive.

    I've been to a couple of fertility clinics in Newport Beach and unfortunately did not have a good expedience with those other clinics. My husband did some research and found CCRM in Newport Beach and I cannot recommend this place enough. From my first visit to my graduation day everyone from the front desk, to the MA's, and sonographer has been so helpful and welcoming. Every visit they were able to answer all my questions and give me quality of care. As a patient who has gone through 4 failed IUIs at a different clinic you can only imagine the loss of hope we had. It wasn't until we met Dr. Dilday did I we regain hope for a future again. She is truly a kind and knowledgeable Dr that I have ever come across and it showed with the type of care she provided for us. My husband and I still have 4 frozen embryos with CCRM and we can't wait to come back in the future to visit Dr. Dilday again to continue building our family.
