Back in March, I chose CCRM Newport for egg freezing. My partner and I have now chosen them again for a new IVF freeze-all cycle—frozen embryos!—because we were so impressed by our experience. Dr. Dilday is an absolute pleasure. She is highly knowledgeable and excels at giving patients the information they need to make their own decisions. For example, she felt I might benefit from one additional day of stimulation but ultimately left the choice to me. Everyone else at the clinic, including Doris, Briza, Lauren, and Kayla, is warm and knowledgeable. Finally, the facility itself is gorgeous! It feels modern, extremely clean, and comfortable. On retrieval day, I even received a warm pillow and blanket directly from the linen warmer—small details that make a huge difference! We are incredibly happy with our choice of clinic and trust them completely with this unique, life-changing process.

They handled it gracefully and completely reassured us despite some embarrassment. My husband left feeling supported and cared for by everyone. This review is for the billing department. I froze my eggs at this location in 2021 and have stored them there. Unfortunately, there is no transparency around storage charges. CCRM keeps saying my payments are overdue, which is untrue, so I requested billing and payment records by email and phone. They never provide the requested information and simply do not answer calls or return voicemails in billing. They threaten collections while refusing to provide any billing or payment history. I have moved away from Orange County and cannot visit in person. My eggs are essentially being held hostage. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

This is my second pregnancy with this clinic. The staff are unmatched. Both doctors have treated me and are excellent. They are kind, explain everything, and, most importantly, are highly skilled. IVF, particularly retrieval, is a hormonal dance requiring precise timing. I was not an easy patient this cycle; my hormone level was the highest the doctor had seen in her career, and overstimulation was a major risk. She changed the protocol, and I ultimately obtained multiple embryos! The nurses are equally talented and hardworking. Brooke was my nurse for the second cycle and kept everything organized, even answering emails on weekends. She is a superstar. I am deeply grateful for this clinic and its staff, who operate like a well-run machine.

I came here only once for remote monitoring—lab work and an ultrasound—but the experience was smooth. There had been a communication problem with my primary clinic, so CCRM Newport had almost no advance notice, yet they still scheduled the necessary testing for the next day. I truly appreciated it. Tips for first-time visitors: 1) The address in Waze took me to a street without access to the clinic, so I had to make three right turns to reach the actual entrance. If this happens to you, do not panic, but allow extra travel time. 2) Parking is in a separate lot. Ask at the front desk and the clinic will validate it, so you do not need to pay.

Hello, I am using a pseudonym to protect your privacy. I have a question for you: Would you be willing to work with a man to create IVF embryos using donor eggs? He wants to donate all the embryos to Snowflakes Embryo Adoption rather than use them himself. He hopes to continue his maternal grandparents' bloodline because they have very few descendants—one cousin died as a child in the 1980s, and the cousin's father had no more children before dying 15 years later—and his maternal grandfather was an only child. However, he strongly wishes to avoid parental responsibility if possible. He would like to be a sperm donor, even an open donor, but unfortunately does not qualify for anonymous donation because he has autism, ADHD, anxiety, an arrhythmia, mild obesity, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. He may or may not qualify as an open donor, but the question is whether anyone would accept a donor like him, even though he graduated from a good university. He therefore believes that creating embryos with donor eggs and donating them immediately afterward is the best way to leave his maternal grandparents a biological legacy after his death. Would you truly be willing to work with a man like this?

Although I truly like Dr. Abhari and physician assistant Keara, who is the best person there, I would hesitate to recommend this clinic. The nurses, medical assistants, and administrative team are not very welcoming. Billing is a nightmare. My primary clinic is also a CCRM location, where I have seen billing handled smoothly. I have been waiting for a refund since November 2025. I repeatedly contact their billing specialist, but responses are slow and resolving my concerns takes a long time. I even have bills from July 2025 that still have not appeared in my account, so I cannot pay them. Be very careful when dealing with them!

I have been to a couple of fertility clinics in Newport Beach and unfortunately did not have a good experience with them. My husband did some research and found CCRM in Newport Beach, and I cannot recommend this place enough. From my first visit to my graduation day, everyone—from the front desk staff to the medical assistants and sonographer—was helpful and welcoming. At every visit, they answered all my questions and provided high-quality care. As a patient who had gone through 4 failed IUIs at a different clinic, you can only imagine how much hope we had lost. It was not until we met Dr. Dilday that we regained hope for the future. She is one of the kindest and most knowledgeable doctors I have ever met, and that showed in the care she provided to us. But this review is about my overall experience freezing my eggs here, and the frustrating parts overshadowed the good. I truly wanted to like this clinic, but I could not. First, the billing was a nightmare. I needed statements for medical reimbursement—money they owed me—and despite staff promising to “expedite” them, it took two and a half to three months to receive them. They did not respond to emails. There was no callback number, and calling only led to voicemail, while the billing status remained “pending” for nearly two months. When I finally reviewed the statements, I discovered that the refund amount had been calculated incorrectly. To resolve it, I had to contact another department in the Eastern time zone, leading to endless phone calls. Their billing department was nearly impossible to reach and utterly disorganized when I finally reached someone. After reading their Yelp reviews, I realized I was not alone. I came specifically for Dr. Dilday after receiving a referral, but they casually told me on the morning of the procedure that she would not perform it herself. Instead, the doctor on rotation would do it. How was it acceptable to tell me only on the day of the procedure that the entire reason I chose this clinic would not be operating on me? She did come to check on me, which was thoughtful, but that one kind gesture did not make up for their poor communication. Then there was the anesthesia. I repeatedly told the team and every doctor that I become very ill after anesthesia, but no one believed me. The anesthesiologist dismissed my concerns, saying that he had never encountered a problem in all his years of practice and that my previous problems occurred because he had not been my anesthesiologist. As expected, I had an adverse reaction. I woke up in excruciating pain, rating 20 out of 10, just as I had warned them. My recovery was far worse than after my two previous similar procedures, leaving me to wonder whether the problem was the surgical technique, the anesthesia, or both. This is what happens when a patient clearly tells you how their body will react and you ignore them. Then there was the pharmacy. CCRM uses an outside pharmacy, which was a disaster in itself. The delivery driver “missed the delivery window,” and management could not locate their own driver for several hours. When they finally found him, he had to meet me at a restaurant I frequent. I walked out in front of all my friends and collected a huge cooler filled with medications I did not want to explain to anyone. I arrived an hour and a half later than planned and then had to ask someone else to store the medication in their refrigerator. This was private information that I had wanted to keep confidential. I spent the entire day on the phone trying to obtain medication that should have been delivered without difficulty. All this chaos came from one decision: the clinic had supplied only one day’s dose. Even worse, just before my ovarian stimulation injection—the most critical part of the process—the doctor on call had clearly not read the previous doctor’s notes. He told me to begin taking a medication I had never taken and had never been prescribed. I was at work, and he left me completely distraught with only two days remaining before the injection. The lack of professionalism, chaotic handoffs, and complete breakdown in communication among departments, doctors, and billing staff left me deeply disappointed. I could have received care locally, but I accepted a referral and did my research, only to discover how exhausting and unnecessarily difficult this would be. About four months later, I am still pursuing statements that do not reconcile or contain too little information to submit. Anxiety, frustration, helplessness, and feeling disregarded truly sum up my experience at CCRM. I am sorry to write this review, but I do not want anyone seeking good care here to endure the same experience.

We chose Dr. Abhari and his team for our third attempt, and I am now 14 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy. It took us 3 years to reach this point, and achieving it with Dr. Abhari's help feels especially sweet. Thank you to everyone at CCRM—the front desk and his wonderful, humorous medical assistant—for making the process easy and less intimidating. You will not find this level of care anywhere else. Trust me—I work in healthcare, and this team is unmatched.

Dr. Abhari is attentive and caring, and an excellent doctor! I previously froze eggs at UCSF, so I had a basis for comparison. Dr. Abhari set realistic expectations for a 42-year-old patient, but did not give up when I responded slowly to medication. We discussed the benefits and risks and achieved a successful outcome after extending the cycle. I highly recommend him!

Working with Dr. Abhari and his staff was an absolute pleasure. They communicated excellently throughout, and I felt very comfortable and cared for during medications, appointments, and procedures. Definitely recommended!
