Dr. Dan Gehlbach, United States

Fellowship-trained in reproductive endocrinology with more than 30 years of fertility care experience, Dr. Gehlbach is an experienced, compassionate fertility physician whose expertise has helped thousands of families overcome challenges and have healthy babies.

After serving as a reproductive endocrinologist at medical centers in Kansas City and across the United States, Dr. Gehlbach established Midwest Reproductive Center in Olathe in 2004. After leading the independent practice for 20 years, he and his team joined the AdventHealth network in August 2024 to establish AdventHealth Fertility Center, the national health system’s only fertility clinic.

Dr. Gehlbach has received numerous honors for excellence in patient care and clinical research and has spoken, lectured, and conducted extensive research on fertility and reproductive health. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology. In addition to his extensive fertility clinic experience, Dr. Gehlbach is a decorated U.S. military veteran who served as an Army physician for 15 years.

Together with nurse practitioners Goldie Bjornstad, APRN, FNP-C, and Johni Kilton, APRN, WHNP-BC, Dr. Gehlbach welcomes new patients at AdventHealth Fertility Center on the AdventHealth Shawnee Mission campus.
